In terms of selling the house however they often turned up late to viewings, little enthusiasm when selling, no personal touch or questions about us as sellers to use it felt like it was just another box of bricks. When coming to do a viewing they didn't know about what was happening with offers and kept asking us if there had been any when they should know as the estate agent! Our house wasn't anything special but also was in good state, we had 30 viewings so alot of interest but then when they came to view only 2 offers in total. Little feedback on any suggestions to change or improve the selling potential. It's also a long contract 20 weeks plus 28days notice so just make sure you read that before signing. We switched agents.

7th Nov 2024 (6 mo. ago)When we decided to explore putting our house on the market a few months back, we engaged several estate agents including Burchell Edwards to come and appraise our property. From the get go it was obvious that Burchell Edwards were far superior to the other agents in respect to professionalism, research and pricing. We decided to put our house on the market about 2 weeks ago and engaged Burchell Edwards as our agent. They continued to impress us with their knowledge and guidance and we had around 10 bookings in the first week and a half and I am pleased to say that we were offered the full asking price for our property from a cash buyer with now downward chain. We couldn't have asked for a better service and we were not expecting to sell the house within two weeks! A huge thank you to Louise, Ryan and the team at Burchell Edwards.

They made it easy for me to sort out a place to live and I can’t thank them enough. If you need a home they will make it happen. I’m lucky I found them.

27th Jan 2025 (16 weeks ago)I had a lovely experience dealing with Bartley estates. They came across as being very professional and were extremely helpful through out the whole purchase process. At every step of the purchase all queries were promptly dealt with, and at times when we shared the same frustration when it came to dealing with the solicitors we worked together to resolve third party issues. As a customer you will never be disappointed. Well done.

14th Oct 2024 (7 mo. ago)Rude. Was expecting to hear when I could pick up the keys and they forgot about me. When I messaged I had the following rude response. "You have asked for a date to collect keys, which is my understanding that you have taken a room with us None of our previous conversation states which room you have taken Your contact number does not show on our system as a proposed tenant. Unfortunately we have three agents at Genie homes so you could have taken the room with the other two agents, im just trying to help find out which property so we can arrange your keys". Unfortunately we deal with hundreds of applicants per day, so i apologise that i needed to clarify". The snotty ending was terrible. It's there fault I'm not on the system yet somehow they expect me to provide them with all the information. Out of the 3 people that worked there could have said, oh yes I know him, my bad, I'll sort it. Terrible ans unorganised. Do not use! Used another company that was brilliant.
24th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)Worst experience ive had with a Estate Agency. Very unprofessional and dishonest process of bidding offers on a property. Tom the Agent gave false information about offers and the client requirements. I spoke to another individual who gave an offer only to be told that Tom was giving false information about how high the offer was at and then proceeded to lie. This is a new Estate Agency operating in Birmingham and I will also be reporting them and their tactics along with other members of the public that have viewed properties and how Tom has been sharing offer amounts with everyone other than tbe clients
