No request was ever too much trouble, and their communication throughout the entire process was exceptional. What impressed us most was how they managed everything from the initial listing right through to completion, staying fully engaged even after we received an offer. They worked tirelessly to ensure we secured the best price from the right buyer. If you're looking for an estate agent who genuinely cares and delivers results, we would recommend Hamptons.

15th Sep 2024 (22 days ago)I would not recommend Stapleton Long and would give zero stars. We rented from them for four years and finally moved out due to ongoing disrepair. Despite a persistent leak and flaking paint in one of the bedrooms, the landlords continued to band-aid the issue and, upon pushing for it to be properly addressed, they claimed the landlords had "spent a lot of money on the property and are reluctant to spend more." We lived with unsightly walls, damp from the leak and mould and unresolved problems for almost the entire tenancy. We were advised that our landlords owned multiple properties in the surrounding streets and they ‘kept our rent lower, because they were aware of some issues. Their other properties are rented for more.” This made it clear that Stapleton Long prioritises landlords' interests over tenants' and the landlords refused to fix these fundamental issues. After all the mental stress, anxiety, and even intimidation tactics (stating that, ‘as a gesture of good will, if we were unhappy, we could give 30 days notice to vacate’, which was clearly in their best interest, rather than ours), we had no choice but to leave. It's telling that after all this, they are now advertising the property as ‘recently refurbished’ for £400 per month more than we were paying. Avoid this estate agent if you value your peace of mind and well-being.

Anna Pachek has been our recent contact and has always delivered excellent service. We have no hesitation in recommending them to any potential client.

17th Sep 2024 (20 days ago)The service provided by Robinson Jackson on the sale of my flat was good although it was a difficult sale the communication from the team and myself was also good and I would use their service again for either a purchase or sale.
1st Jul 2024 (14 weeks ago)I was a long-term tenant in a property managed by Maguire Baylis and got to know the team at Shortlands. They’re very friendly, responsive and professional. I recently purchased the flat I had been renting and they were very helpful throughout the sale process too. I would definitely use Maguire Baylis again if I decide to rent out or sell my flat in future. They are trustworthy and genuine. Five stars from me!

26th Sep 2024 (11 days ago)Cannot recommend Kenton’s enough. We actually bought from Kenton’s around 2016 and the service was as good then as it was the second time around. Both times we dealt with Adam and Kelly and I felt it was fate when the property next door to my mum came on the market and Adam and Kelly whom we dealt with last time and bought our flat from showed us around and managed the sale. From viewing several homes, and without sounding too rude! I found a lot of the estate agents very ‘salesy’ and not very personal and genuine. Kentons is a completely different experience. I booked the viewing through Kelly who was very friendly. Adam showed us around the property, he was also very friendly. Adam was informative on the viewing and gave us space to have a nose around the property. We were very interested and made an offer soon after the viewing. Adam and Kelly kept us up to date the whole time. When our offer was accepted Kelly seemed genuinely happy for us that the offer was accepted. We wanted to second view the home as to which Adam was very accommodating. Throughout the whole sale we were always kept in the loop and Adam had a very polite and approachable demeanour with his emails. The sale went through so quickly (around 2 months) and Kenton’s certainly played a part with the speed. We moved in yesterday to our new home and would like to say a massive thank you to Adam, Kelly and the Kenton’s team for all your hard work, it’s much appreciated!

21st Sep 2024 (16 days ago)You might find many positive reviews from sellers, but I strongly advise first-time buyers to steer clear of this agency. When I viewed the property, I was assured it was in excellent condition, with the exception of the boiler being a bit old. However, as recommended to me, I still arranged for a independent survey. Due to an unexpected emergency, the survey was delayed by a week. This delay wouldn’t have affected the sale since the completion date was still a month away. Despite this, the agency contacted me, pressuring me to cancel the survey because the seller was growing impatient (a tactic that, in hindsight, seems manipulative). Unfortunately, I felt I had little choice, as the house I was renting was soon to be sold. It turned out that the house suffered from severe mould and damp issues - an information that was withhold from me during the viewing and that would have been revealed in the survey. Fixing these problems has already cost me several thousand pounds. I strongly discourage first-time buyers, especially my NHS colleagues who need to buy in this area for work, from using this agency. They simply cannot be trusted.

12th Jul 2024 (12 weeks ago)As the representative for a small block of flats, I can say that my experience of dealing with Mayfords as a Managing Agent has been refreshingly positive, from the moment Aarti Varma assumed responsibility for managing our block. What has been particularly impressive is the way Aarti has taken the time to want to know about the history of our block and associated issues, making regular on site visits and taking photos, seeking my input and also inviting me to Mayford's office to catch up and update me on block matters - all of which in turn has made it easier to resolve some of our long standing issues. I was also impressed with Aarti's well delivered Powerpoint presentation at the recent AGM, held in nice, off site, office premises. The presentation was well set out, including photographic illustrations, and objectively showed how our Block has evolved over the past year, and the part Mayfords, specifically Aarti, has played in helping tackle and resolve issues. There are some issues which remain a working progress, however with Aarti's strong leadership, I am positive we can reach resolution. On the basis of my own lived experience of dealing with Aarti, I strongly recommend Mayfords as a Managing Agent.

After trying three other estate agents with no success, Olivia found us a delightful young couple to buy our house and she kept with us despite various set backs right through to completion. One of the advantages of the way Laurels work is that it was Olivia who signed us up and showed the house and sorted out all the problems that beset the sale, which made it much easier for us to understand the progress being made, especially towards the end when we were abroad on holiday. Thank you very much Olivia, Jon and Anita.

His knowledge of the market was great which led to us not only achieving a great price for our home, but this also happened within two weeks. Everything he said would happen, came to pass. This meant we could act fast once we found our next home. He was swift with communication, and even offered advice on our search and the wider buying/selling process. If we had any questions, we knew we could simply drop him a text and receive an answer in a short amount of time. Given his history at local estate agencies too, it meant he had a great network of professionals who he could recommend, such as solicitors and removal people. Would definitely recommend Goatley Hirst.

29th Aug 2024 (6 weeks ago)Aidan and Chris were exceptional! I would highly recommend them to anyone trying to sell their property. I was initially only purchasing a property through them, however after a large, well known estate agent that was listing my property were failing to get it under offer, I switched the sale over to BR as well. They marketed the property very well and managed to get it under offer in a fraction of the time that it was listed with the other agent. Their communication and attentiveness throughout the whole process made it so easy. Having the confidence that you can pick up the phone and call them with any problem or question, knowing they will answer and take ownership of the issue is worth it’s weight in gold - something you will not find at a big estate agents with many employees.
16th Sep 2024 (21 days ago)As a seller, initially things were fine. However, as soon as an offer was put in and accepted by us, the experience with Expose turned quite sour. We continually felt that Expose were working for the buyer and representing their interests at all times and not representing the seller at all. Communication was particularly poor. I had to continually chase for information which should have been passed to me as a matter of course. We allowed Third party surveys to be carried out by the buyers. Very little feedback was obtained from these and on one occasion an illegal gas disconnection was performed without informing us-the property owners! A hugely disappointing experience. Even the final completion process was cocked up and yet again no communication from Expose. Avoid!

The process was quick and smooth with great communication. I would highly recommend this independent estate agents as they listen to your needs, find a solution and execute professionally.

Galloways were realistic with their valuation and clearly had a knowledge of the local market. We ended up selling very close to our valuation and in no time at all.
