I have been using Leaders Bromley for years now to manage my property. I deal with them completely online. My statements arrive monthly and I get regular reports on the property, with recommendations if any remedial work is necessary. My tenants have been reliable and have stayed for long lets, by renewing their contracts. This is all overseen by Leaders, so as I get older I have no administrative worries, as I know the property is being well cared for, and is appreciating in value.
The current sales team worked pretty well and effectively. Paul and Lily were good at keeping in touch and keeping us informed and the result, whilst not being all that we might have wished was acceptable. The original asking price was clearly way too high and I think we were badly advised at the beginning. The process of producing sales materials was very slow. That meant that the property was publicised some weeks after we had been led to expect. In a situation where prices are falling that delay proved costly.
KFH West Wickham have been fantastic from start to finish with our sale and purchase. Laura especially has kept us informed every step of the way, has been proactive, and on the ball with everything- we couldn't recommend her or KFH highly enough. Would definitely use again!

Many people are uncomfortable to leave a negative review with their names, however, our experience was so dreadful with this unprofessional agency that we would like to share it with others. The property we've recently bought was solely marketed by this agency so we didn't have a choice but to try and work with them. However, the whole office is unbelievably incompetent. First of all, your private details are handled carelessly resulting in us gaining regular access to their other clients' private data (both vendors and buyers) both via e-mail and postal letters. Think carelessly copied in e-mails from other clients, postal letters addressed to other clients attached to ours in the same envelope. Once could be a mistake but this happening numerous times via both methods raises serious concerns.
Second, as we already had our mortgage sorted and our chain was very short and all freehold we requested the exchange date to be within 9 weeks from acceptance of offer (this is a perfectly acceptable amount of time) so we could avoid paying another 2.5 months of rental fee unnecessarily. Vanessa claimed that our request is impossible and set up the exchange date 10 weeks after the offer got accepted. Ironically, about 10 days before their chosen exchange date they started to harass us to exchange asap as everyone in the chain was apparently ready to sign immediately. When we refused to bring the dates ahead due to them being ignorant about our needs earlier we've been put under incredible and completely unnecessary pressure with their constant calls, e-mails (even to our solicitor to convince us!!) pushy attitude and agressive tactics. To the point, that I had to switch phone numbers for a week to avoid repeating ourselves the 10th time about our refusal of a last minute change of the date that they forced on us in the first place. And to the point that we got very close to pulling out of the whole purchase just to get rid of this horrible agency. No doubt, had we found another suitable property at that point we would have pulled out without thinking twice.
Thirdly, despite all the stress they caused to try and bring the exchange date earlier last minute "due to everyone was ready", guess what.. on the named exchange day the exchange had to be cancelled due to the rest of the chain not even being ready with their paperwork. It's a wonder that the purchase actually happened in the end.
The team at Bairstow Eves in the Shirley branch namely Samantha, Siobhan and Louisa have been a delight to work with. They are very professional and they know their business inside out. They have been truly supportive throughout the process and we could not have asked for more. Thoroughly recommended.

Lisa was great at every stage of our house buying. She took time when showing us around; was very helpful without being pushy. She stayed in touch all the way through the process, and made sure that everyone knew what was happening, and gently kept it all moving along. Thanks!
Unfortunately, pretty useless. Bought from them and had impersonal and fairly consistently incompetent service from our particular estate agent. She didn't listen when they called us asking questions and didn't answer questions when asked. Would recommend avoiding selling or buying if possible.
Thankfully the branch manager stepped in and fix to mistakes.
We had a lot of bad luck over the past few weeks which included landlords pulling out of a deal at the last minute resulting in us losing our flat through another estate agents! However, Jack showed me this property late afternoon and by 6pm our offer was accepted. Jack has been incredible - always helpful, polite and friendly and he has pushed all the paperwork through at the speed of light so we could move on Saturday this week. Absolute legend - thank you so much! Five star service.
It’s nice to see great reviews on here but unfortunately we haven’t had the same experience – it’s been painful from start to finish. They’ve falsely advertised property features on RightMove and their leaflets but apparently they don’t have the time to update these to ensure it’s an accurate reflection. The property management team in Bromley don’t have a clue about the properties they manage and we’re constantly having to chase for an answer. We've expressed all of our concerns but they don't seem to raise these with their management team. I’d avoid using them where possible in the future – shame as we love the property we’ve moved into!
