Just sold with the help of Mark and it was not an easy process for a variety of reasons. Mark went way above and beyond his job role to help and support me and the process and I cannot thank him enough.
I also very much appreciated the support of Susan the manager and sincerely hope Karma comes and pays them all a nice visit :) many many thanks xxxx
With our property, we've been given an opportunity to view it very early (even before an advert was put online) which finally resulted in an accepted offer after 7 months of being on the market. So the experience of working with KFH itself was good. However, the solicitors recommended by the agency (Beverley Morris & Co) were ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE and UNBELIEVABLY slow. Following that advice was a mistake.
Haart have been fantastic handling our new purchase. Paul, Maisie and Valerie have all provided great communication and support throughout the entire process and would recommend them to anyone looking at buying property in the region.
Paul and his team helped us work through the sale process through difficult circumstances, we are living in the US and were selling remotely over 4500 miles and 7 time zones! This made communication difficult (we are 7 hours behind the UK) and maybe because of this, we sometimes felt a little isolated and lacking reassurance that everything that could be done to make the sale happen, was being done. That being said, we would recommend them as they got the best price possible and gave good service up to and beyond the sale of our property.
I moved in around two months and have settled in well. George was extremely informative, professional and personal throughout the whole experience. George and the rest of the team made my first time renting smooth and easy.
Rented property..... when picked up keys for pre-arranged appt on day of move had to wait an hour as keys not ready, got to house plug sockets hanging off, window broken, garden a mess and told wrong info at viewing. Will never rent from them again!
All the poor reviewers are self important types who you can spot a mile away. They are the people who are influenced by brand identity etc. Noisy overbearing and best avoided.
The quality of Buffet restaurants in the UK is generally poor and not comparable to international hotels and places likes Vegas. Having said that the place is modern, clean and the staff are attentive, removing dirty plates when you select a new type of cuisine - the service charge is optional and we declined to pay it - it's a self service restaurant and IT'S OPTIONAL.
For those who understand the beat the buffet equation - i.e eat only the crab legs, you are not going to win. That is to say the selection is varied and has an international feel but not high end expensive dishes. there is a live station and dishes are made fresh to order. I thought it was expensive but only on par with other buffets - the selection is varied and typical of cruise ship buffets. good value, nice decor
The interior needs a big revamp! The chairs were duct taped together, and the seats broken. The food that was uncovered had flies on it. Some food was good which was in covered containers, but there was little choice. Been to far better buffets. Dessert table was limited and shockingly bad. Probably only a place to go with young children who don’t eat much so the buffet pays off for parents.
Staff also weren’t great. We weren’t even greeted when we went in. The system wasn’t explained and we were just left to it.
A great service from all the team at Hunters and thank you Matt for your efforts. The highest compliment I can give anyone is that I would use them again. I would definitely use Hunters again
This relates to Westwood Property Services, who I believe fall under Hunters at Blackfen/Sidcup. I strongly suggest that you avoid this company. My experience with them was nothing but aggravation. Having rented with them for 2+ years - paying on time and being a good tenant, during which they forced me to suffer through excess property damp - at the end of the tenancy they tried their best to take unwarranted chunks of my deposit, ignoring all logical argument and simply doing what they wished. One example included myself damaging one curtain a little and agreeing for this to be deducted, but this agent, through greed, sought to replace the curtains for all of the windows in that room. Equally, they tried to pin broken things on me that were fully intact and working when I left (as reinforced by the thorough inventory check out) and provided receipts without dates, seeking to deceive. An agent called Pam is the source of this flagrant disregard of reason. You'd do well to avoiding renting with this company and particularly via Pam. Rent elsewhere.
