29th May 2026 (21 days ago)I cannot recommend Amy Claiborne-Dixon highly enough. What impressed me most was her persistence, communication and genuine ownership of the transaction. Amy never adopted a "wait and see" approach. She was constantly following up with solicitors, management companies, buyers and all parties involved to ensure momentum was maintained and that nothing slipped through the cracks. There were numerous occasions where Amy proactively chased outstanding enquiries, sought alternative routes to obtain information, and kept all parties updated when communication elsewhere was limited. At several key points in the transaction, she was often the person providing the clearest updates and helping move matters forward. Beyond her professionalism, Amy brought a human element to the process. She was approachable, responsive, calm under pressure and always willing to go the extra mile. Amy is a credit to KFH and an excellent example of what great estate agency looks like. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone buying or selling a property and I am extremely grateful for all of her hard work, support and persistence throughout my sale. Thank you, Amy.

30th Apr 2026 (7 weeks ago)We would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to the Hamptons teams (Sevenoaks and Blackheath) for managing the sale of our five bedroom property in Chislehurst. Hamptons marketing to potential purchasers resulted in a regular viewings by worthy parties. In addition, the communications we received before and after each viewing was much appreciated so that we always felt appraised of the interest in our property. In the lead up to exchange of contracts and then sale completion, Hamptons played very helpful role to liaise with our purchasers. This enabled a smooth and amicable path to completion. For their professionalism, knowledge of the market, attention to detail, regular advice & guidance and first rate communications, we would recommend Hamptons without reservation.
15th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I would genuinely recommend using Truepenny’s Charlton if you want to sell your property. From the initial valuation (which was much more realistic that other overly inflated figures from other estate agents) the service by the team in the Charlton branch was excellent. We were trying to sell our flat in an already difficult market but Bhavi and David secured many viewings over the summer and finally an offer was made. The team were always available to help and nudge things along. Caroline helped my sister and I get our new apartment in West London and we couldn’t be happier - a very smooth process, a user-friendly app for paperwork purposes and above all, a lovely lady who went above and beyond to guide us through the whole transaction. They're diligent and patient , returned calls and responded to emails, always kept the lines of communication open. I'd had a pretty tough experience elsewhere prior to this, so I admit I asked way more questions than usual, but they were super reassuring every step of the way. I felt totally at ease right from the start. A big thank you to Edmund in Orpington.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
1st Jun 2026 (18 days ago)I have got to say that from day one we found Robert to be a very personable person & also, at a later stage, ditto to Mathew. We have enjoyed a fantastic relationship with the two of them throughout the whole process. We were kept informed, at every stage, as to where we were & what should be happening next. They were also very proactive concerning both the buyers & our solicitors when & as required. It has been fantastic to find two highly motivated people where nothing seemed too much trouble. We would both like to say a massive thank you for everything. We would certainly highly recommend them. John & Tracy

Their communication was excellent — they would answer any email within an hour and were always helpful and professional. They were also very competitively priced compared to other estate agents we looked at. I honestly wouldn’t use anyone else again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home! Even the other estate agents in the chain commented on what good agents they were and how quick and organised they were with things.

They kept us informed every step of the way, communicated clearly, and were always easy to deal with. It was refreshing to speak to the same people throughout, which made the experience feel much more personal. They never came across as pushy or overly sales-focused - just genuine, professional, and supportive. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their property.

I have been a tenant in this property for the past five years and I can say for free that she has been one, if not the best property manager that I have encountered.
