I could not ask for a better Estate Agent. From start to finish the process was managed with professionalism, fantastic communication and great customer service. I did not have a straight forward sale, it was a complicated move tying together two separate chains. However, John, Katy and Sharon supported by the rest of the staff navigated us successfully through the process. I will definitely be using them again in the future and recommend them to anyone who wishes a smooth move.
AVOID!!!!!!! Over promised, under delivered. Issues with honesty and fulfilling their promises. Allowed damage to our property & relaxed about who they gave access to. Failed to lock up. Arrogant and Negligent. Everything that you DON'T want an estate to be!
Builders taken to the property by them caused damage to light switches and sockets were ripped from the wall. Newly laid carpets were lifted - all without permission.
So desperate for sales that seemed to do everything that the buyer asked - with no thought of us. We experienced a continual disregard of our wishes. In fact some of the staff seemed rather too close to the buyer - which might have been the issue. Sharon did the complete opposite to our instructions, every time - and even ignored the manager's instructions As a seller we should not have to suffer as a result of their 'office politics'.
The manager (John Speer) seemed fixated on adding more properties to their list, rather than actually selling them!
Their original proposed asking price was flattering - but unrealistic - and it was downhill from then on. Said it was worth £315k - but in the end got £261k! Had they actually told the buyer about the few minor faults (as we had specifically instructed) he would not have asked for a further reduction. There was no negotiation of price reductions attempted by Robinson Jackson.
We were told by John how Robinson Jackson were better than the others, how they did not over promise, how well they managed the sale after offer and that we were safe in their hands. They promptly went on to over promise, mis-manage the sale after offer and were worse than We Buy Any House - and that is saying something. I would say that they were negligent and arrogant about their own abilities.
Paul, Maisie and the team at Haart Orpington were amazing to deal with and kept us up to date with how the sale was proceeding. They went above and beyond to help us as we were no longer living local to our property. They are extremely professional and reliable. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their property.
Paul and his team helped us work through the sale process through difficult circumstances, we are living in the US and were selling remotely over 4500 miles and 7 time zones! This made communication difficult (we are 7 hours behind the UK) and maybe because of this, we sometimes felt a little isolated and lacking reassurance that everything that could be done to make the sale happen, was being done. That being said, we would recommend them as they got the best price possible and gave good service up to and beyond the sale of our property.

Worst experience with an estate agent. This branch is completely disorganised from the manager down. Complaints are left undealt with for months, and then only handled when senior partners get involved. Staff are rude and hostile. There is no consistency - everyone you call/email you'll get a different response from a different person contradicting everything else that has been advised.
I would have given just one star, but there are a few members of staff who obviously care about their work and clients so the second star is for them.
All staff are highly professional and have excellent customer support skills. The firm has excellent local knowledge of the housing stock. Impressive selling skills/techniques in comparison to others we experienced. The sale of our property had a couple of hiccups. They were very supportive and gave us sound advice. They have a dedicated member of staff with conveyancing background. She handled after sale chasing up of the parties for a smooth and speedy completion. She gave us weekly updates. Thomas Brown even gave us good advice when we were not buying through them! Really grateful to every single one of them.
