She showed the house really well, unfortunately we couldn’t finalise the house because of some reasons, Daisy was very understanding and she has been helping me to find the perfect house. 24th Apr 2026 (11 days ago)I found a property to purchase being marketed by Chattertons Estate Agents. My initial viewing was hosted by Jen who was extremely welcoming, informative and helpful. After that, subsequent viewings were conducted by the fantastic branch manager, Doug Paterson. This sale/purchase was complicated by the fact that the elderly owner had gone into care and the sale being managed by her disabled son who was a long distance away. Doug had to act as liaison and there was absolutely nothing that was too much trouble for him, from recommending an excellent firm of solicitors who, with Doug’s input, were able to expedite the process to completion in 5 week, fantastic! There is no way I could praise the team at Chattertons, particularly Doug, any higher and have no hesitation in giving them the highest recommendation.

Having not met each member of the team face to face, every time we called with a query, no mater who we spoke to they seemed to know which stage we were at and we're able to answer any questions with a good knowledge of our situation. Oliver and Jacob were absolutely brilliant—they understood that we were grieving and showed great patience and empathy throughout the process. They were proactive from start to finish and guided us every step of the way, helping us successfully navigate towards a sale. We had previously appointed another estate agent, but the difference in service was night and day. The first was useless, Won't name any names but they are across the street up a bit with a red and black sign that says Thomas Brown! Opps! I would highly recommend Langford Russell for their professionalism, compassion, and proactive approach.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Holly has been quick and efficient to get everything sorted and she has done smoothly without any issues, I’m amazed it only took 2 days from visiting the property to having all of the paper work done and I got to chose what date would work best for me to move in. Holly has been so helpful in more ways than one and has been on the phone when I needed her and got everything sorted, thank you for all your help, I look forward to moving into this new property :)
