Moving with a young family can feel overwhelming - like running a marathon with a sprint at the end! But over the past nine months, Ben and the entire team remained consistently engaged, supportive, and reassuring. I rarely leave Google reviews - in fact, this might be my first in 20 years! - but Emma and I felt compelled to highlight just how much we valued their work and effort. During a sales process that was full of complications with solicitors, the support Joe and team provided was a huge source of comfort. Not only was the listing process professional resulting in immediate offers but the communication thereafter was frequent and clear. I couldn't recommend them enough for their considered, personal service.

4th Feb 2025 (11 weeks ago)Terrible experience with Beth Anne Eade, the branch manager. She was uncooperative and rude throughout the process. The tenant they found for us allegedly conducted illegal activities in the property, and they never conducted a proper house visit. We are now facing over £15,000 in damages due to their negligence.

He helped us every step of the way from sorting handymen to deal w minor issues, to securing our necessary paperwork, to finding the ideal buyer. We were dreading a months long process but have solid offer in <1 month! I can’t praise him enough!

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

The welcome pack I received when I moved in was unexpected but a really pleasant surprise, the move in and out was an uncomplicated process and would definitely use Romans in Swindon again if I ever move back there, I highly recommend them.
