Peter is a good communicator which helps to keep the sales process moving along. Peter keeps me informed of new properties coming to the market that may suit my clients. Tommy’s appraisal was a great first impression, and there was a clear distinction between their service and others we’d invited to appraise. They gave us actionable advice to prepare us for market and give us the best chance. This followed through to those in the office, who cared and knew about our sale in detail and gave us reassurance we were going to be well looked after. Thank you to Clare in particular. Andy conducted most of our viewings and was knowledgeable, and positive and we knew had provided an excellent experience for potential buyers, based on feedback. Finally, Will was invaluable in aftercare and kept us in the loop without chasing, a pleasure to deal with. An exemplary service from all and we’d have no hesitation in recommending them.

We gave the details of what we were looking for and in no time at all, he provided us with a handful of properties, and immediately arranged for us to view them all on one morning, even took us to each one, and in fact, all to our liking (it was very difficult to choose from them all). He even suggested the property lawyers to make this purchase possible - all very professional and helpful with any queries we had. Your efforts are very much appreciated and I will be recommending your office to anyone and everyone. He has been fantastic from the very start and he has always gone above and beyond for us. Really friendly, helpful and professional, a pleasure to deal with. Communication with Rob or any of his colleagues at Nicholas Percival whether it was face to face, via the telephone or email has always been polite, knowledgable and in a very timely manner. We hope this will be our forever home, so won't require the services of Nicholas Percival but will be sure to recommend to any friends or family needing such services. Thanks again to the Nicholas Percival team.
19th Apr 2024 (10 days ago)I signed up with Michaels to sell my home. Initially, during the valuation and walk through, they presented well and gave a good pitch which I felt fitted in with my needs. However, the promises and standards fell short of the expectations set. On the day that the pictures were due to be taken, 20 mins before arrival, the branch manager cancelled as he felt unwell. There was little understanding from them that I had been prepping the house to make it look the best it could and spent all morning cleaning. To suddenly be let down with minimal notice was poor and despite claiming to be very ill, turned up the following day right as rain. The first issues should have been an indication as to how it would have gone but I chose to give then the benefit of doubt and work with them. However, there were still issues, such as having to chase for the EPC and floor plan to be uploaded to the advert which took three weeks after launch and a couple of viewings where the buyers seemed to know little about the property. A few times they had called me to arrange a viewing, we discussed and then would never call me back to confirm the outcome. Again, it just shows a lack of engagement from them. Michaels seemed great but for me and on this occasion, fell short of my expectations and the mandate that they were trying to deliver on.

They were beyond understanding and accommodating when things went wrong multiple times and didn't end up getting to view the place before moving in, but I really felt like their work ensured that I wasn't getting any less in terms of service. Thank you especially to Samantha who was so kind and waited for me to get my cat up to Colchester by train after my movers let me down twice. She is such a kind, lovely person to have been in contact with for this, and I wish her all the best!

Charlie Coe organised a van and he and Luke came to my house to collect the items. It was not a straightforward collection and involved Charlie and Luke having to dismantle some items. They did this willingly and successfully. I was impressed by their dedication to doing the job to the best of their ability; in fact they went beyond what I had expected of them. Thank you Charlie and Luke.

At every stage of the process they were helpful, and went out of their way to build a good relationship between buyers and sellers which worked to everyone's advantage-- especially as in this case the sellers will be our future neighbours. We had very well arranged zoom calls and resolved timing issues to do with stamp duty, moving dates, etc. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and we are very grateful to Sophia and the team.
24th Feb 2024 (9 weeks ago)Bond estates overall is a fantastic letting agency, however Jayne Inparticularly is fantastic. Jayne was kind, friendly and professional from the first viewing to completion of our application. She ensured everything was dealt with on time and communicated this to us on a consistent basis. Although we did run into a few issues along the way, this was of no fault of bonds (or Jayne) Jayne did her very best to work with us to help us secure this property as soon as possible. A letting agent I would and will highly recommend.

I have bought nine properties overtime and this was the very worst agent of all time!! Far too big for their boots and demanding far more personal information than they should. I refused of course! Will definitely NOT use them when I sell next time!
