19th Apr 2023 (2 years ago)Thank you to Debbie Anderson in particular who if it wasn't for you, I don't think our sale would of been possible. She constantly kept everyone in the loop. Was very patient as at some times I was really stressed. The sale took months to go through, but finally today we completed. Thank you everyone at Park Estates. You're a great team.
15th Mar 2026 (4 weeks ago)DO NOT use these agents. We got agreed a house we loved and it got put as sold etc. Next day we got gazumped by another person who put in a much higher offer even after it was sold stc. Most agents do not entertain offers after sold etc and whilst I understand agents can legally pass on offers even after agreeing a sale and that gazumping is legal in UK, they obviously passed on the offer as they want the extra commission and we lost out the property. We are not going to get into any bidding war and raise our offer up higher than we did as a matter of principle as nice as the home was- properties come and go and we will find a better one. But please avoid them as when I have called multiple other agents in the past- once a sale is agreed, they just say that and dont emtertain offers as a courtesy but Robinson Jackson did. Deeply disappointed with the agents, with the person who put in the offer as they have no shame, and with the sellers who even accepted this after agreeing with us. Disappointing and will not trust them again.
23rd Feb 2026 (7 weeks ago)So far we are very happy with their service ( still in process ) dealt with Ann McDonald who has been on the ball with everything even to all our questions, nothing seems to be too much trouble. Will continue with revue when all is complete.
3rd Apr 2026 (12 days ago)Paris did an excellent job selling my house. They were very friendly and helpful throughout the sale and made everything easy. I can't thank them enough for everything they did for me and would highly recommend them.
18th Feb 2026 (8 weeks ago)turned out to be a difficult sale due to the buyers solicitor being incompetent and unhelpful, the guys at your move were very helpful keeping up the pressure on the buyers to get the sale done and to resolve the problems that the buyers solicitors created, they were all ways there to talk to me and and keep things moving, i know that Dan the manager in the branch put a lot more effort into the sale than would normally be expected, So big thanks to Dan and his team. The only thing i would have some reservations about was their recommendation to use Homefast/PPL as my solicitors, they are cheap and work on a no sale no fee basis which is good and they are probably ok if your sale go's smoothly but i felt a bit left in the dark as they did not really keep me informed when problems and delays came up and it was not all ways easy to get in touch with them, there is very little direct contact with the solicitor appointed to your sale and the vast majority of thing are done through an online portal and not being a very competent computer user i did at times find it difficult. We got there in the end and Yourmove stuck with me and gave support all the way through so i would be happy to recommend them.

Acorn lettings have been so helpful, responsive and friendly. They love their job so much the really go above and beyond without realising. I can totally relate! Thank you so much for such a welcoming experience ??????

It was a long process with many ups and downs but Chattertons were supportive throughout. Jen’s support was especially invaluable, she was always available to answer any queries and was so proactive in communicating with us or problem solving where needed. An excellent agency who we would recommend to anyone !

23rd Mar 2026 (23 days ago)I recently sold my property through Wisdom Estate Agents and couldn’t be happier with the experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home. Matt handled the viewings and was outstanding throughout the entire process. I had actually made and had an offer accepted on a new house before finding a buyer for my own property, which could have been quite stressful. However, Wisdom Estate Agents took a very proactive approach to selling my home and were still able to secure a buyer in time to keep the chain moving smoothly. Matt kept me consistently updated on viewings, offers, and the progression of the sale, making everything feel well-managed and under control. His communication and dedication truly set him apart—easily the best agent I’ve worked with, and someone who genuinely puts the customer first. Rob was also fantastic—he took excellent photos for the listing and kept me updated throughout as well. Both of them made what can often be a stressful process feel straightforward and positive. Overall, the level of customer service from Wisdom Estate Agents is exceptional—far quicker, more responsive, and more personal than what I’ve experienced with larger commercial estate agents. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
10th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)We chose to use Local Agent to sell our property on a recommendation from a friend who also used them. Paul Hately and his team were excellent. The video by Corinne was amazing and the property was live and on the market within hours. It sold on the first viewing for above the marketed value. Although completion took longer than anticipated Paul & Dawn kept us updated throughout the process. I cannot recommend Local Agent enough. Denise and Ken

2nd Apr 2026 (13 days ago)The sales team were genuinely lovely, no issues there at all. The lettings side however was a completely different experience. The referencing company they use is honestly shocking – it does not have a single review above 1 star. On top of that, my referencing actually showed as completed and successful on their system, and they even confirmed over the phone that I had passed. Despite that, the estate agents told me there was still an issue. To try and move things forward, I offered additional payslips and bank statements, and said I could even get them officially stamped by my employer. They refused to accept any manual documents at all, which I’ve never come across before with any agent. Instead, their process requires you to give third-party access to your personal data - bank account and HMRC account, with no alternative option, again a red flag as this isn’t a legal requirement due to obvious GDPR an security reasons. I wasn’t comfortable with that, so I explained I was happy to provide everything needed, just not by giving that level of access. When I spoke to Hayley in lettings (who was very defensive and not helpful) , I called to ask what I could to help them complete the process and also said I didn’t understand why standard documents weren’t being accepted when they’re normally more than enough - although if I’ve passed referencing no further docs should be required anyway. The immediate response was that my application would be rejected and my holding deposit could be retained if I didn’t agree to share my data that way, which didn’t sit right with me at all. I called again to follow up after the referencing company confirmed I had passed all checks (i contacted the referencing agency directly incase there was a miscommunication or error on their website), and was then told that the person I had spoken to worked in a different office… even though it was the same number and office, which just added to the confusion. Later on, I was told the landlord had actually decided not to proceed anyway – which completely contradicted what I’d been told earlier about referencing being the issue. To be fair, they did refund the holding deposit in full, which I assume is because the situation wasn’t handled properly and they realised they legally could not retain my deposit as I passed all checks. Overall, the whole process felt confusing, inconsistent, and unnecessarily rigid. I’ve rented before and never had an experience like this.

Jake always took the time to answer my questions (there were so many!) and keep me updated. His knowledge of the local area and attention to detail made everything feel straightforward and stress-free. I could not recommend him more to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

Throughout the process Kevin kept us updated with clear and timely communications and went above and beyond. Kevin and the team were chasing up solicitors and parties in the chain and doing more than all the other agents put together to ensure that completion happened before Christmas. Anyone thinking of selling should not go anywhere else!
