6th Apr 2024 (5 mo. ago)Our experience with Mov8 was easy they kept us informed with viewing and communication was prompt. The only thing was their offices are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are in Carnoustie which was a little inconvenient if we needed to go to their office to sign things

All questions,thoughts, and details were handled with our interest, 1st and foremost. Nicola could not have been more helpful. Her manner and professionalism were obviously clear that she is an expert in this kind of work. My wife and I look forward to any more meetings in the future with Nicola, which I'm sure will be handled in the same professional manner as the first ???? ????

30th Sep 2024 (4 days ago)Do not use Ralph Sayer as your solicitors to buy your house. Firstly, they kept getting my email wrong and sending my personal information to some random email address which is a huge issue and something I asked them to rectify multiple times. We also were asked if we wanted to buy furniture from the owners, we said we did. But our solicitors didn't pass on our email so the furniture was already sold. They are expensive, useless and you have to keep chasing them to make sure they are doing the work. They made a mistake on so many forms and tried to overcharge us by adding the first time buyer discount, instead of subtract it!. So incompetent.

Invasion of privacy of the highest order - none of your business how much I spent on amazon until I see you and believe you're not trying to do identity theft. Bunch of creeps.

Reassuring and positive. Information given is clear, instructive and they have answered any questions that arose. Highly recommend and very grateful to all the staff along the way.
3rd Nov 2023 (11 mo. ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.

The North Berwick team were always responsive and friendly, and above all professional. They know their business.

13th Nov 2023 (10 mo. ago)Upon moving out, I repeatedly contacted them to release my deposit. Unfortunately, even after a month has passed, my deposit remains unreleased. Following persistent follow-ups, they informed me that they had hired a "sparkle clean" service and would be sending me an invoice for the cleaning expenses. Ironically, I had already hired a professional cleaner to ensure the property was left in impeccable condition before my departure. The house was in a cleaner state than when I first moved in. It is disheartening to note that despite my efforts and the clear state of the property, they continue to withhold my deposit. Their reluctance to return the deposit, coupled with their evasive actions, strongly suggests unethical practices. They are absolute scammers, and I strongly advise others to avoid engaging with them at any cost.

Nothing was too much trouble; he answered correspondence quickly, was prompt at arranging viewings and efficient in finding answers to our questions. He even went as far as finding out if we could rent land locally for ponies - he went above and beyond. I would recommend Revere wholeheartedly - you get a personalised, bespoke service and feel that you are a valued individual - this definitely sets them apart from the larger operations.
