Dee was calm and reassuring -she has a hugely empathetic manner which felt like she truly cared . Both Nick and Dee always returned our calls very promptly with the follow up that they promised. Sharon was always on the other end of the phone for me when needed, constantly kept me in the loop with the purchase of the property and really cared about getting the best for both myself and the seller. Would absolutely recommend whether buying or selling.

20th Feb 2025 (10 weeks ago)We have let two houses with Peter Ball lettings, one for 11 years and the other for 7 years and they have provided an excellent service to us over this period. In the last year Tess Ashmeade has been the Property Manager in Cheltenham and has been wonderful. She answers all queries quickly, efficiently and has an excellent nature. She is polite, helpful and liaises with both us and the tenants effectively. It is a delight to deal with her, she is an excellent ambassador for Peter Ball.

Fantastic buying experience with Perry Bishop, Sam helped us through the whole process super smoothly and was just a lovely person to speak with generally. It felt like the whole team really understood our circumstances and knew the timescales of every step. Even though you know as a buyer they represent the seller, it never felt that way, as we were perfectly mediated through the whole process. They recommended external services for the mortgage, surveys and moving companies, of which we went with their recommended surveyor who was excellent. We sorted our own mortgage and moving companies, but amazing to know they had these services on hand if we needed them. All in all, an amazing and smooth buying experience, and I'm now a very happy and proud owner of a beautiful home ????
25th Feb 2025 (9 weeks ago)I have rented a property through CJ Hole Cheltenham for almost two years, and they have been exceptional. Originally, we were hoping to find something with cheaper rent, but the location and beauty of the Victorian flat left us smitten. The service CJ Hole has provided us has made me wonder why I even considered turning it down. I have rented a few times via different companies each time. I have never had a company and landlord be so helpful: From flat problems to a great handyman, to support with neighbours (or random issues inevitably that come up), to regular property checks for everything. They have accommodated every need, an example being replacing the shower head and glass pane so it supported a disability. With it being a Victorian flat, it of course means it’s colder/not as energy efficient, and ‘noisier’ due to thinner walls/floors/ceilings (I thought it was less noisy than living in a semi), but it is so spacious, stunning, homely, and so much more. Our landlord even carpeted part of the flat to help with noise and warmth - which I have never heard of before and thought was just beyond helpful/brilliant. Thank you CJ Hole and especially to Sigita for everything!

He goes the extra mile, even picking up keys from my mother's house on one occasion. And is never too busy to answer the phone and do what needs to be done. Can't fault his service.

They were incredibly helpful, patient, and professional, making everything smooth and stress-free. Their team was always available to answer any questions and went above and beyond to assist me. I truly appreciate their dedication and support. Highly recommend!
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Jodee and Neil have been a dream! They have provided me with the information I need, ensured suitable tenants for me and the property, and have kept me updated along the way! My property was advertised quickly and looked amazing on the website, meaning that tenants were found promptly. The whole process from start to finish has been smooth and stress free!
