21st Mar 2025 (8 weeks ago)Advertised a property in “Harold hill” Romford a place full of anti social behaviour and then increased the advertised rent to £2200. Good luck finding someone, very disappointed.
16th Jun 2024 (11 mo. ago)Was dealt the worst tenancy of my life through Lifestyle Property. Within 3 weeks of living at the flat we were burgled, front door was taken off the wall so we had no choice but to phone the landlord and was told we ‘ruined his Sunday evening’. The property made us all severely sick for months at the result of black mould. We had doctors notes and the landlord disregarded all proof that the mould was a result of poor insulation. Adam and the management team at Lifestyle property were reluctant to help in anyway, Adam asked us to send him evidence of the flat and instead of giving advice, he ignored emails and decided he no longer wanted to help. Useless estate agents and I would advise anyone to stay away from Lifestyle property, especially if the landlord is Lee Poppy.
11th Mar 2025 (10 weeks ago)Looked at a property via Filtons. Property advertised as being freehold. These people failed/never to mention that there is a lease attached to the freehold. It only popped up when fees had already been paid to solicitors and the searches came back. Added extra and unexpected cost due to Filtons failure to disclose information at the agreed point of sale. Please be careful when dealing with these people as you can't can't complain via there website and phone calls are falling on deaf ears. Very funny as soon as I post a negative review I get a phone call from? Filtons

They found the tenants and were fully transparent with all parties that it was a only for a year or maximum 18 months. They regularly inspected the property and upon return of the property they made sure it was exactly how I gave it to them. Uwais in particular was a pleasure to deal with, top service from him.

After the viewing, I expressed my interest in the property and was ready to make the payment immediately.???????? However, the staff informed me that she had around a hundred more customers scheduled for viewings and that she would submit all the details to the landlord for a decision.???????? I realised that she did not seem interested in offering me the property, and I don't understand why she needs to engage with other customers after I had already committed. I am really disappointed because I took half a day off for this viewing.???????? Thank you. --- Let me know if you need any more help!

30th Apr 2025 (18 days ago)Scammers! I cannot recommend you use a different agency more. I lived in a house share for 2 months, during which time I cleaned the garden and the whole flat because I wanted a nice space to live in, despite it only being a short let. They then tried to charge me £250 for cleaning when I left. Fortunately they were not able to action this, but others may not be so fortunate. At the end of my 2 month tenancy they were going to refurbish the house so I’m unsure why they’d need to clean it anyway. The existing house mates informed me they were in the process of taking legal action because Maxwells had been letting the property without an in date gas safety certificate. One of the bathrooms had a broken shower and toilet for the entire time I was renting and despite being reminded this was never fixed. If you are thinking about renting through Maxwells, please reconsider because I have never had such negative dealings with a letting agent.

1st May 2025 (17 days ago)Very friendly and professional team. Found a buyer almost immediately. Unfortunately the first buyers withdrew, but Daniel Frank put the property back on the market immediately and found a new buyer quickly. The team kept us up-to-date with things. We fully recommend these Estate Agents and would not hesitate to use them in the future. 10/10! Thank you so much for all your help and hard work!
