12th Jul 2025 (3 days ago)Katie Marshall & Stoneacre Properties – Underhand and Untrustworthy. Potential Buyers Beware Update: Since posting this review, the other buyer withdrew from the sale. Stoneacre then contacted us to see if we were still interested. Given the lack of transparency, professionalism, and basic courtesy shown throughout, we declined. Unsurprisingly, the property is now back on the market, £6,000 cheaper than the original asking price. So much for the "quick sale" they claimed to be prioritising. We also received several messages from James, director at Stoneacre, who acknowledged our frustration but ultimately offered no real explanation or accountability. The core issues — why we were told our offer was accepted while other offers were still being entertained, why we were not informed when things changed, and why our financial information seemed to be used selectively — remain unresolved. His replies were defensive and disappointing, and only reinforced our decision not to move forward. The entire experience confirms our view. Buyers, proceed with extreme caution when dealing with this agency. ----- We had an offer accepted on a property through Stoneacre Properties, only to find out days later that the vendor had accepted someone else’s offer—submitted after ours. Shockingly, the agency allowed more viewings to take place after confirming our offer had been accepted. How is that even allowed? When we sought clarity, Katie Marshall was conveniently “out of office” the entire time the vendor was considering the other offer, and neither she nor Dov would respond to emails. Frankly, they were lying through their teeth. The whole experience felt completely underhand, with zero transparency or professionalism. Potential buyers, beware—this agency does not seem to act in good faith.

3rd Mar 2025 (19 weeks ago)Look all that false reviews , before you decide be a tenant with this agency look and read all them reviews, doggy , unskilled staff, everything unlawfully , change tenancy agreement illegally, them old building dumpy and mouldy when you want to leave property no deposit back , all them properties around Leeds roundhay road , chapel town road , no health regulation in them property, no fire exit and safety regulations which is fully illegal

I feel that they have been very supportive and proactive in a turbulent and difficult market in a City Centre location. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Agency.

From day one, she has been proactive, easy to reach, and completely committed to helping move things forward — even offering to chase updates late in the evenings when needed! She provided valuable insights during the offer stage and supported me through renegotiations when risks came to light later in the process. She always explained what was within her role and what fell to the solicitors but never used that as a reason to step back. Instead, she stayed fully engaged, chasing replies from the seller’s solicitor and keeping everyone aligned, even when legal delays arose. Her market knowledge, calm approach, and empathetic communication gave me confidence as a first-time buyer. I couldn’t have asked for a more reliable, responsive, and genuinely caring estate agent. 20th Jun 2025 (25 days ago)they cancel the viewing is because they don't want to take someone on benefits they do not like me so no wasting my time and now I'm going to have to look for another house somewhere else because this agency is just wants to play games whatever you do please do not go to this agencythe council will win enough to pick the deposit down and pay the rent in advance I will be taking legal action because it feels like to me no one wants to help me and no one wants to give me a house it's all because I'm on benefits and all because I'm trying to go back to work it's an absolute joke that you can miss someone around

They even tried to be sly and send my friend a document in English knowing she can't read it and I was acting as a guarantor but they didnt share it with me, if my friend had signed it we would have been liable for hundreds of pounds.......shame on you, sly in my book.

From our initial meeting it was clear that Howard was prepared to invest the time in understanding the property, and our needs as sellers. He gave balanced and informed advice on pricing, backing this up with evidence, something that many of the other estate agents we were talking to didn't. His marketing strategy was effective, quickly achieving a sale price that was fair to all parties (IMO). Throughout the conveyancing process Howard was available and easily contactable when necessary. But I would also note that Howard uses an additional support company who provides a dedicated case handler to improve communications between all parties and facilitate flows of information. This was really useful in helping to properly understand the status of the transaction throughout, and was much more dependable than information from our solicitors. This is an example of Howard's approach going above and beyond what many other estate agents are prepared to do. I would be happy to work with Howard again in any property transaction as he's professional, efficient, friendly and effective.

Rather than one member of staff taking the lead on selling our property, multiple members of staff dipped in and out, their communication between each other is clearly terrible as I would have to repeat myself to every one. For example, I would ask for there to be no viewings after 3.00 as I was going out, then viewings would get booked in after 3.00. This kind of thing happened many times. They came across really incompetent.I had to do all viewings as supposedly there was never a staff member to do them. They also lied to a neighbour of mine who was interested in buying my property, saying they were awaiting dimensions from me, this wasn't true. DPSH never asked me for dimensions. If they'd done their jobs properly and taken measurements of the property they would have had that information.
