Emily and Ellie were especially a pleasure to work with: they both provided us with a really smooth and efficient service from passing on our initial offer, through property viewing, referencing to contract signing and handing us the keys to our lovely new home. They even surprised us with a personalised Home Move Box, which was such a nice touch and made us feel so welcome. I and my husband can only recommend Emily, Ellie and their Lettings Team to other prospective lettings customers looking for a great service. I would also like to give a big shout out for Gemma for her amazingly efficient and expert mortgage advice and matching us with the best mortgage lenders. I can’t thank everyone at Brown&Merry Tring enough for taking property matters to the next level.

31st Jan 2024 (25 weeks ago)Absolutley amazing! From start to finish, Hunters looked after us, knew our requirements and did not push for anything else. Iain and Sean are so personable, in fact the admin team were amazing as well, Caroline and Elizabeth were great at communicating. All of them worked so hard with our solicitors to ensure a succesful sale. Would highly recommend, and if we ever move again we would 100% use these guys (although I cannot imagine wanting to move as Hunters helped us purchase our perfect home and also sold our old house too)

We feel the house was marketed really well at the right price resulting in multiple offers within a week. Thanks to everyone in the Oakleys team.

Having known both of them for a number of years I can honestly say that they both display a sense of pride and care in their ability to look after people and do what best for their client, nothing seems too much trouble for them. A quality sadly lacking in a lot of the industry. Highly recommended.

25th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)27 TROWBRIDGE GARDENS - Warning to potential tenants. Rented this property through Indigo and have had a horrendous experience. Leaks left ignored from the roof and guttering for 8 months to the extent water pours through the ceiling onto our bed. Left with a bath that didnt drain properly for multiple months, with several contractor recommendations to fix ignored until the bath fully blocked again for the 2nd time. Gave access to 8 roofing contractors during the 8 months since reporting the leak, of which the landlords said the contractors were lying, exaggerating or were too expensive. We were blamed as a first resort for the bath pipework being insufficient and for the multiple leaks experienced during our tenancy. Tom at Indigo did his best to help us but continued to say that it was the Landlords discretion/decision and didnt push the repair obligations onto the Landlords. Eva was rude, unhelpful and unsympathetic to all issues we had which resulted in us inisiting on liaising with Tom. Indigo then confirmed upon Landlord terminating our tenancy on the grounds of selling (but now up for let at £100pcm more), that they would not be working with Chris and Sue Hodgkiss again due to their negligence of the repair obligations under the Tenancy, as well as being very difficult to deal with but they continue to work with them. The previous Tenants warned us of the same issues and we fear this will continue to happen. Landlords also live next door and will watch you 24/7, in the bathroom which overlooks their garden, as well as turning up without warning and again breaching the tenancy. Rogue Landlords who have caused us nothing but upset, distress and issues. Disappointed that Indigo didnt do more and lied to us about working with these people. Take caution if seeking to rent this property.
8th Jul 2024 (19 days ago)I used to rent a property with country properties. During that time I interacted mainly with Debbie I found the whole experience deeply unpleasant. She seemed more concerned about making money for the landlord than about my experience as a tenant: it made me feel stressed and pressured. I also experienced them as unprofessional due to the lack of service that was available to me - what I mean by service is a welcoming attitude and kind approach, which would make me feel safe and supported to raise any concerns I might have. However, both members of the rental branch - Debbie and Hayley- made me feel I was a burden and every time I spoke on the phone it would be rushed. The usual line was ‘we’re about to go into a meeting’. This caused me much anxiety when I was living in Shefford, I couldn’t wait to move! My view of their behaviour whilst living in one of their properties was just confirmed when I had to call them unexpectedly because I accidentally sent a package to the old address and wondered if there was any way of getting the package to me. If not I enquired into whether it would be possible for them to ask their tenant to hold the package for me or see if I could be sent on. However I was told ‘that wasn’t possible’ and Debbie rushed me off the phone. She wouldn’t even ask for me. How is this a professional service and moreover how is this kind? Is kindness and civility not a part of managing a business for them? It seems not… I’ve dealt with and lived under the care of several different real estate agents and this was by the far the worst! The whole experience of living in a property is defined by the attitude and service real estate agent. Therefore, I wanted to warn future and would strongly recommend trying finding another real estate agent to help you if possible!

The marketing by this company was excellent and they were always available when you needed to contact them .I would 100% recommend these guys absolutely brilliant .
8th Apr 2024 (16 weeks ago)Hunters were a complete failure. Communication was non existent. We spent time getting our home read for a video and they just did not bother to show up. They were rude and unprofessional. Do yourself a favour and pick a different agent.
30th Jun 2024 (27 days ago)Friendly and responsive service from people who really know the local market and clearly have a genuine hunger to get your house sold and you moved into your new home. After an initial meeting with Dominic, my main contact was Romeo Cirillo who was very helpful throughout. Great communication from the team during the lengthy process and they used their very useful relationships with the other professionals involved, such as surveyors and solicitors, to keep the whole process moving.
