16th Sep 2025 (13 weeks ago)Had an absolutely horrific experience with Leaders. The house was dilapidated and in terrible condition. From day one, we were bombarded with issues, many of which took weeks to be addressed, or weren’t addressed whatsoever. Our heating never worked during the long, bitterly cold winter, despite our energy bills being incredibly high, and no action was taken. We went through at least three property managers in the 12 months we lived there, making it impossible to know who to contact. Constant emails reporting problems were ignored. The house was filthy when we moved in, with furniture dumped in the garden (we were accused of leaving this furniture and asked to pay £300 upon move out, total lies), and the hot water had been left on all summer, ultimately leaving me and my housemates to pay the exorbitant bill with no acknowledgment from the company. There were many other issues, but even after all this, Leaders were difficult when it came to returning the deposit. Three months later, emails are still being ignored. This company is a joke, profiting off students who don’t know any better. If you have any sense, do not use Leaders.

4th Dec 2025 (12 days ago)After a drawn out negative experience with another local agent, we moved our property to The Property Man and our house was sold within a month. They helped find contractors for a few small jobs and helped get the property ready for viewings. We received 3 offers and have just completed with the best offer for us. They kept us informed throughout and were always professional and approachable. Would highly recommend! Thanks for all your hard work team x
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
1st Dec 2025 (15 days ago)Our Family switched property agents to Hills Estate Agents as we needed a results driven agency to sell our house in this uncertain economic climate. We wanted our house to sell to completion. It was a well maintained house in a strategic location and it was selling at a competitive price. However, we needed a strong marketing strategy to surmount the challenges of an uncertain economic outlook. After switching property agents to Hills, the house sold within a week. The buyers made a good offer and the house sale was completed quickly. Hills had a strong marketing strategy, with a clear marketing text on our website listing. The text reflected the description of the house. Hills selected viewers carefully by checking their buying circumstances. So, we felt we were getting genuine buyers and buyers who did not waste our time. When it came to the offered price, the Hills agent was able to increase the initial offer the buyer made through skilled price negotiation. Throughout our interactions with Hills, the staff have been helpful by following our instructions and advising on matters of their expertise. As a result of a strong marketing strategy, a good sales price, genuine buyers, helpful customer service skills and a fast turnaround in this uncertain economic climate, our Family were pleased we switched to Hills. 4th Dec 2025 (12 days ago)Showed up for a viewing and stood in the rain for 10 minutes waiting only to be told that it was cancelled. They rung me once to try tell me and because I didn’t answer they left it. Didn’t bother trying to ring again to let us know. No email, no text message but they’ve had no issues emailing us in the past. Apparently a voice mail was left however I don’t have it as I assume my voice mail box is full. Don’t waste your time with this agency! Not even a sorry or an attempt to re schedule with us or anything. Just ‘yeah it was cancelled we left you a voice mail’ ridiculous

6th Oct 2025 (10 weeks ago)They arranged a viewing and the agent didn't attend call. So I came back without viewing. They didn't call or receive call either. I called the number they called me from for about 10 times. They gave one ring missed call after that and didn't attend. Tried calling the company as well and they take call as well. It was within company working times. It was such a disappointmwnt to travel for viewing and they didn't show the property. Waste of time, money and permission from work. I think it was kelly and it's such a bad coordination. Viewing time was 3:15 or 3:45(1st October 2025) for apartment 1209 citylink building, hessel street. Please take actions. Such a disappointment.

Gave them a quick call and they laid out loads of solid investment options with proper returns, not the usual fluff you get from other places. They know their market inside out and make it really easy to compare deals. If you’re into building long-term income, these guys are definitely worth speaking to.
