Our property was initially priced at a value we wanted but it was recommended that we reduce a little at a strategic time in the holiday which resulted in many viewings and eventually the fast sale of our property. The solicitors they recommended (Juno) are also incredibly fast. Very impressed with the team at Hoddesdon. Thank you all for your guidance and professionalism you took the sting out of selling our home. Highly recommended

Kirsty managed to secure our buyer soon after our house went on the market, even being available to show clients around when we was out of the country. When sales progression became stressful, Kirsty always made herself available to assist in anyway she could to help us through this time. Her dedication to her role and helping us to address any queries we had helped us to remain focused on our end goal of selling our property, allowing us to move on to our next much wanted purchase. Kirsty is a real credit to CR Real Estates.

I had sole agency and do not regret staying with them to the bitter end when a number of things went wrong with many buyers through no fault of Wright's. They were always kind and sympathetic when we had problems and went that extra mile to help. Thoroughly recommend them.
9th Nov 2023 (25 weeks ago)Dealt with Mark Waldron on the sale of our house in Riverhead. I would highly recommend both Mark and Knight Frank. Right from the initial valuation appointment, mark gave really solid advice on how to maximise the marketing of the house to achieve the best price in a reasonable timescale. This was in summer 2023 and a difficult market to sell in. Knight Frank got lots of interest in the house and had multiple offers. This was because we followed Marks pricing advice and they put together some really lovely photos, brochures and adverts. We did have issues with our first buyer, who messed us around. Mark spotted this quickly and he was replaced with another buyer within a week. Mark has supported us through the post sale process, always happy to help speak with buyers, solicitors and other agents. If you are serious about selling in Sevenoaks then I highly recommend you talk to Mark and his team at Knight Frank. Thank you

Communication was always good and could phone the branch, get straight through and they all knew who we were (not in a bad way). To be fair to them the property was not in the most desirable area to most buyers so do not think they were at fault for not selling (was on with 2 agents after first 4 weeks with just them). No fee as never sold but was very competitive and also included a free epc

22nd Apr 2024 (10 days ago)Our experience with Mann Sales and Letting Agents Strood has been deeply disappointing. As someone with experience in leadership, I can confidently say that the issues my family faced clearly stem from leadership, as the agency has failed to take accountability for their poor service. The signs were there from the very first calls and continued all the way through. Appointment punctuality and coordination were major issues from the beginning. Scheduled viewings were consistently delayed, leaving us in uncomfortable situations and forcing us to personally show prospective buyers around our property. This lack of punctuality and disregard for our concerns was unacceptable. This not only inconvenienced us but also left us feeling uncomfortable and vulnerable. Moreover, prospective buyers also expressed dissatisfaction with their poor experience e.g., left waiting outside properties, unclear instructions, and poor communication. Transparency regarding the terms of the sole agency contract was also lacking. Critical details, such as the length of the agreement, were not adequately discussed, leaving us feeling misled and questioning the integrity of the process. Furthermore, the advertising of our property on Rightmove and other platforms was subpar. We were left to request enhancements and updates, reflecting poorly on the agency's commitment to effective marketing. Despite our attempts to address these issues, the agency has refused to take responsibility and has closed ranks. Even after following the 'official' complaints process, they have refused to allow us to alter the length of the contract or even to move to a multi-agency agreement, which is a basic and straightforward solution that can easily be done and has been advised by other professionals in the industry. I strongly caution against entrusting your property sale to Mann Sales and Letting Agents Strood. Should you decide to proceed with them, heed this advice: never concede to a sole agency contract, demand meticulous attention to the advertising of your property, and scrutinise every detail of the contract, particularly its duration. I firmly advocate for a contract length of no more than 4 weeks or 28 days. Furthermore, be resolute in avoiding coercion into utilising their in-house financial services. Despite our repeated insistence on retaining our trusted brokers, Mann Co persistently pressured us until we were compelled to inquire whether our decision to use our own brokers would pose a problem, emphasising the importance of asserting your preferences firmly. Overall, our experience has been disappointing, and we hope our feedback prompts Mann Sales and Letting Agents to reassess their practices, processes, and procedures and strive for improvement in the future. Now, we find ourselves left to wait out the length of the contract as they refuse to alter it. As a family with two young children, aged 2 and 4, it's evident that our needs have been consistently overlooked and disregarded throughout this entire ordeal.

Throughout the whole process of agreeing to rent a property with Mann lettings, vivienne's customer service has been exceptional, warm, Friendly, informative, polite and just overall amazing. I really cannot thank you enough for all your hard work and help through this process. Matt You have also made the whole situation so easy, and moving house is stressful for anyone! The housing market is currently in a dire place but we had lots of viewings and were kept up to date throughout the whole process. The team are really responsive and always on hand to answer any questions.

If truth be known, as we hadn't heard of them before it probably wouldn't have been one we would naturally have utilised. However, we have been simply over the moon that you were the chosen Estate Agents, your service has been nothing short of exemplary. You have done absolutely everything you said you would do, at the times and dates provided. The Staff are so supportive, and will go out of their way to make sure the information or question is provided or answered. Nothing has ever been too much, whatever date, time or person we spoke to. We had total faith in your ability to deliver, and trusted you to do your job and you absolutely delivered on everything. All I'm left to add is a big thank you to all concerned.

My 20 year old sister rents from them and has had nothing but problems with mould and damp and they don’t care and are now threatening her saying she has to leave in 2 weeks or stay for the full tenancy in the disgusting property. She has had 6+ contractors in to view the mould because the landlord is to tight to pay for any works they just keep sending more people. They work with rogue landlords and do not care about there tenants. Carly Cleary is the one my sister has been dealing with, she lacks customer service and is threatening a 20 year old who is renting there first property still paying full rent. They are telling her she has to leave her furniture outside for 3 weeks and if it gets damaged or stolen it’s her problem for them to fix the issues. The council are involved and they are past the deadline for it to be fixed. Honestly appalling company and we will take it as far as we need to, no one should have to live in a property with this many issues, paying full rent and having to be home to let people on constantly it’s a joke!

Our own sale was extremely problematic to say the least, but you were always on top of everything relating to our sale and purchase and there is just no comparison in the wonderful service we received from you both and that of the agent we used to sell our home.
