21st Apr 2024 (27 days ago)Still haven’t heard from nick or Darlyne regarding my invoice due from the 5th of April. I have been emailing, ringing and no communication and when I do speak to someone it’s always just an excuse or they will say they will sort it today. Then nothing happens. I can’t believe how unprofessional and how hard it is to communicate or pay a simple invoice that was sent weeks ago. They have the deposit from the old tenant who is paying for the clean I carried out for them. I went out my way to help them and this is what I get in return…. I want paying my money I’m owed. You have my number and email address!! Thanks Sophie

Even though they weren’t responsible for acting on our behalf, they were always happy to assist us with any queries, were easily contactable, kept us updated without us even asking, and supported us through the stress of it all. They are friendly, professional and put us at ease! We will definitely be using them once we are ready to sell ????
29th Nov 2023 (24 weeks ago)Wish I could leave no stars. Initially the agents were excellent, really good and told them so. However once I agreed to let the property and paid the deposit and 'arrangement fee' it went rapidly downhill. Due to issues that appear to be beyond their control, they let myself let a property that was not ready to be let. Despite myself emailing for updates the replies were slow and had to be chased continuously. In the end they admitted that the property should have not have been for let, they wasted 10 weeks of my time and effort, so I asked for my deposit to be returned and I asked and I asked again... eventually they returned it minus the 'arrangement fee'. The 'arranagement fee' was for them arranging for me to let the property from the landlord, this was a property by their own admission, should have not been for let... So I asked for teh 'arrangement fee' back, nothing... so I advised that I would be taking legal action against them To which I received this email, which is quite laughable... Really shocked at your approach. A simple email would have sufficed. We had incurred costs and this app fee is none refundable at stated, However under the circumstances we will refund the amount. Michael anyway guess what, they still didn't refund me. so basically it seems they are a bunch of con artists... so I have lodged a claim with the small claims court, reported them to trading standards for thei extremely poor service and judgement on letting a property that should NOT have been let, regarless of what the landlord may have said, what was the 'arrangement fee' for if they wer arranging for me to have a property that wasn't ready? surely it is part of thir job to check this out and if the landlord has mislead the agents, why on earth did they not do their own investigations? isn't that their job? appalling, also reported to the property ombudsman, they are not fit to run an agency.
22nd Apr 2024 (26 days ago)We rented a house for three years with Cavendish Residential. Everyone we dealt with was professional, helpful and friendly, from the salesperson who showed us round the house in the first place, to the maintenance team and the accounts team, and to the sales team who handled the sale of the property when our landlord decided to sell. We felt that everyone at Cavendish had our interests at heart as well as our landlord's - any issues with the property were dealt with promptly and in line with our needs. Would not hesitate to recommend.

She was extremely professional and went above and beyond to help us and answer all of the questions/concerns we had. We have met so many estate agents over the last year and she is the best by far! She achieved a swift and excellently priced sale for us on the home we sold, and went above and beyond at every step of the process - navigating us through some challenging moments with real expertise, insight and professionalism. She also dealt beautifully with all those involved in the chain - keeping everyone on board and moving through some tricky moments. We undoubtedly benefitted from the outstanding quality of service at Elite Homes, and recommend them wholeheartedly.
8th May 2024 (10 days ago)Absolutely horrendous.assured me on move in that the leaking roof would be sorted. It was still leaking nearly 3-years later when we moved out. Lost front door keys and denied ever having them, until I proved Laura wrong reminding her who she had given them to. Condescending and patronising attitude for example “give it time to dry out” when an attempt at repairing the roof failed and ignored my telling her it was not repaired and water was coming down the wall and as they use their own sister company for most repairs, don’t ever complain about the workmanship an example of their repair to an insecure back door lock attached. Yes, they screwed in 2 screws to hold it in place, even though it obviously just continued to work itself more loose. Couldn’t be happier to be away from the house, the letting agent and the landlord. Shameful way to treat anyone, but a single mum with health issues.
