I interacted with several members of the team and they were all helpful and knowledgable but Caia in particular, our main contact, was really attentive, supportive, and a huge help. Caia was very patient with us throughout (our first time going through this process) and offered a lot of good advice. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Scottfraser sales team to anyone.

That is a save haven for many people of kidlington, people walk, run, cycling and take pets on walks. And not to mention people that are going through bad times in their life’s this is a place where many people go to, to relief stress . There are many other sites to build properties this isn’t one. Clearly you have no interest for the location community all you care about is making money and destroying people life’s. And wild life.
25th Jun 2025 (14 days ago)Alex Dimopoulos arrived well-prepared with valuation reports and supporting documentation. He began the appointment by thoroughly assessing the property and took the time to explain the data, offering insights based on current market conditions and his professional experience. The fees he quoted were comparable to those of other reputable agents I consulted. However, there was a strong emphasis on sales tactics, including repeated mentions of an extensive database of potential buyers. Ultimately, I chose to proceed with another agency that felt more grounded and aligned with my expectations. Following this decision, Alex's demeanor shifted—he became noticeably aggressive and spoke disparagingly about the other agent, referring to them in unprofessional terms, (cheap agent) . This behaviour was disappointing and did not reflect the level of professionalism I would expect.

Being a foreigner who does not speak English well, she was patient in understanding me and being with me throughout the rental of the house. Call with confidence the Allen and Harris agency. 13th Jun 2025 (26 days ago)We recently completed the sale of our house in Botley, both Richard Chamberlain and Richard Evans were absolutely top class. They both knew their stuff and knew the market well, nothing was too much trouble. They answered all our questions and queries promptly(which we had many) and put our minds at ease on many occasions. They kept us informed the whole way via whatsapp and also rang us frequently to update us. The whole experience was stress free and smooth. From putting our house up and to completion took an amazing eight weeks, this was partly due to Juno, the brilliant solicitors they recommended to us. We would highly recommend anyone who needs to find a professional, friendly and very efficient local independent estate agent in Oxford to use Chamberlain Evans. Thank you both and thanks to your team, we are forever grateful to you all.

As a first time buyer and new to this country I went through lot of mortgage advisors but my personal experience with Jack is very great and literally helped me to get through all process by providing updates and documentation on time. 2nd Jul 2025 (7 days ago)My sister sold her house through Scott Fraser Summertown, and the experience was five-star from start to finish. So, when I decided to sell my flat in Headington, I didn’t consider any other agent—Scott Fraser was my first choice, although I had to go through the Headington branch. I did get valuations from other reputable agents in Headington, but I ultimately chose Scott Fraser based on my sister’s positive experience and because their approach felt more grounded and aligned with my expectations. Unfortunately, my experience turned out to be very different. It was a frustrating eight months marked by constant chasing and complaints. Catherine Dernie was fair and realistic with the valuation, and the property sold within a month of being listed. The photography and marketing were handled professionally. What I didn’t realise at the time was that once the property was sold, the case would be passed on to Elaine to manage the sales progression. After the sale was agreed, I received no updates for over three months. I had to chase repeatedly for information and eventually lodged a complaint before I received any meaningful updates. This pattern of chasing continued all the way to completion. Unfortunately, the delays—many of which were caused by slow responses from the buyer and their solicitors—resulted in financial losses that could have been avoided. Even at the point of completion, they were still asking for documents they’d had for months. While I appreciate the initial professionalism shown by Catherine and the quality of marketing, my overall experience with the Headington branch was disappointing. I would consider recommending Scott Fraser Headington—if they had a stronger and more responsive admin and sales progression team.

He always answered our calls and emails promptly, and the depth of his experience and knowledge of the Oxford housing market was reassuring. We were particularly impressed with his terrier-like determination to get the sale through once we had a proceed-able offer on the table, regularly checking in with our buyer, solicitors and ourselves.

The only issue we had was that some documents were rather unclear, but they responded promptly to my feedback and updated the docs to fix this. Service has been friendly and efficient.

4th Feb 2025 (22 weeks ago)College and county has looked after two rental houses for me for several years and they take all the hassle out of my life. They select great tenants and give regular feedback on how the letting is progressing, they also deal efficiently with the normal household problems like drains, appliance breakages and keep me informed with me having to interrupt my day to sort them out. They have also negotiated HMO licences with the council on my behalf. I have had requests from other letting agencies but am not going to change. Thank you C&C
