Most agents I have dealt with are active until an offer is accepted. Simon kept in regular contact with me and was active in chasing everyone involved up to exchange and completion so that I always knew what was happening. I would have no reservation in recommending him!
12th Jul 2024 (15 days ago)Our experience buying our first house with fox and sons haywards Heath was sadly more than disappointing. They treated the seller with respect and the buyer nothing but scum. We were lied to in order to ensure we signed on with their in house broker (who was amazing) but we were bullied into that decision and made to feel like our house was at risk if we didn’t comply with their demands. We were treated this way throughout all of our interactions with them and would never recommend them to any buyer or seller.

First time buyer, they've been rather misleading, told me they'd do certain things by a certain time-frame, which never happened and they never even told me they were having a delay. Would not recommend it. Bradley there has a non-serious attitude. Not the type of guy you want to work with when spending hundreds of thousands!!!!!

16th Jul 2024 (11 days ago)Awful experience with Marcus Grimes &Co. I rented a property through Marcus Grimes, Cuckfield. It took months to get windows and boiler fixed while I was there. I spent last winter with a window flying open in the wind and a water heater that didn't work properly. Toilet seat was also in need of replacement which was never done. When it came time to leave, I asked if I could end the lease 3 weeks early to which they responded no. Fine, I understand. But then they wanted me to hand over the keys and get full access to the property for viewings. That's a bit cheeky. I spent a full day cleaning the 1 bedroomed flat before I left. Not because it was dirty but because I am a bit of a neat freak. I left the property SPOTLESS. Better than when I moved in. I had replaced the shower hose and fixed cupboards that were broken when I moved in. All just because I like a neat, clean place to live in. One particular point was the oven. The owner left greasy baking trays and rubber baking sheets in the oven. This was ignored when I moved in but I still cleaned the oven to a very high standard before I left. Even though I never use the oven and this was the owners mess. They now want to charge me £170 to clean the oven and are complaining about "scuffs" in a very old, worn wooden bowl that was full of keys. Pathetic attempts to try make it look like I didn't take care of the property which in fact was in spotless, better than before condition when I moved out. I have asked for photos of these particular items showing their spotless, perfect condition but they cannot provide any because that simply wasn't the case. I find the check out procedure very lacking and untruthful. They seem to think that tenants just have to roll over and do whatever they say. I would never recommend these people.

Sam expertly managed our purchase, kept us fully informed and helped us deal with any questions from our vendor. He worked well with our own agent, which was particularly helpful as our chain was long and complex. Agencies are plentiful but Sam and Mishons really stand out. Highly recommended.

Paul, Linda and the team were all very professional in their approach right from the outset. Lovely to find an agent who is very proactive in their marketing and all aspects throughout. The prompt feedback was always very much appreciated. We found Paul's experience helpful in guiding us through challenging aspects during the exchange period.
8th Jul 2024 (19 days ago)This has been a difficult market with current high interest rates making mortgages hard to come by. However, James has managed to keep a stream of viewers coming in, he has updated marketing materials frequently to keep it fresh, including re-photographing as he saw fit and even helping me move furniture around. When I got a buyer he managed to negotiate their first offer up to full asking price before I got involved. James has also offered to get involved with negotiations on my purchase. James is a good bloke, easy going and easy to talk to. I'm sure that his personality has helped in impressing potential buyers. James also has contacts in related professions and has helped in securing a solicitor to take care of the conveyancing. Using James has kept the business of selling my house stress free!
