From the outset, the process was far from straightforward, with a number of challenges arising along the way, particularly around communication with the sellers and various other complexities. Despite these obstacles, the team remained professional, proactive and supportive at every stage.<br><br>David and Verity were outstanding throughout the purchase process. They consistently kept us informed, responded quickly to queries, and worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help overcome issues as they arose. Their persistence, attention to detail and commitment to ensuring progress was made a significant difference, and we are genuinely grateful for the role they played in helping us successfully complete the purchase.<br><br>On the sale of our property, Oliver and the wider sales team were equally impressive. They gave me good advice, kept me informed every step of the way, answered emails promptly, and worked hard at marketing a property that wasn't the easiest to sell. They were always kind and courteous, and dealt skilfully with potential buyers. Highly recommended.

They’ve completely changed my (very outdated) opinion of house selling / buying and I could not be more grateful for their support through what was a more complex sale than we originally thought! They have the relationships and the know-how, which is a hard-to-find combo, but it’s the only one that will get you where you need to be. Big love and thanks to John and his team, because when it comes down to it, they made my dreams come true!

Very knowledgeable of the local area, on what my house was worth and what it would likely sell for. If I do decide to move I’ll definitely use them in the future. Very friendly, enthusiastic but not pushy like other agents.

It really felt like we were on the house selling journey with “friends” who really cared. This continued with Tamsin who was brilliant with sales progression through to the end The whole team went above and beyond. We felt reassured and supported throughout and would definitely recommend. Asking price excellently pitched to gain a price much higher than that in the end. Good follow up service between both party's solicitors. Thoroughly recommend this branch of Hamptons. Thank you to Andrew and colleagues for a job well done and swiftly.

3rd Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)Matt Chandler at Mansell McTaggart has recently handled a property sale for me and has been friendly, professional and helpful throughout. This was a remote sale so I was relying on the agent even more than usual for all aspects. He demonstrated sound and considered market knowledge and I felt secure accepting his advice. Neighbours who met him the property commented on the interest he showed during his appraisal and the amount of time he took to make sure he understood the property fully. I wanted a quick sale and this was achieved even with some challenging circumstances.<br>Everyone who answered the phone at Mansells did their best to help me throughout the transaction. Many thanks to the whole team.

Always has a good plan ahead and will tell me her thoughts openly and more importantly honest. The sales side really let me down on several occasions and need to do a better job, the lack of communication was very disappointing through out.

She provided an incredible service.<br>She is very kind, professional and knowledgeable.<br>During the process she helped me understanding the different phases and she intermediated the works among my broker, my solicitors and the vendor’s solicitors.<br>She is very responsive and clear in her communication, she advised and supported me during the full process, showing a in-depth knowledge of London’s property market.<br>I am really satisfied with her excellent service, I would recommend her to anyone who wants to buy a property smoothly and with peace of mind. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
