25th Sep 2024 (8 days ago)Hunters, Barnsley, have been by far the most credible, organised and effective agents of all I've done business with in the area over the past few years. Their motivation in marketing properties, their drive to secure buyers, and their professional ethos in shepharding the sales through to completion are absolutely on-point. Communication and customer service are the two skills that stand out as being exemplary, and I can say this for every Hunters agent, which makes every correspondence clear, timely and a pleasure. There is no question of choice of Estate Agents in this area for me, Hunters are the one.

15th Dec 2023 (9 mo. ago)Bought a house at Thurcroft and honestly can’t thank 1stfield properties enough for all the hard work and dedication they’ve taken to get us moved in before Christmas, all staff are lovely and so responsive, received the keys to my first house today and I’m over the moon, Thankyou so so much. Had an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend.

27th Jul 2024 (10 weeks ago)I have just been stood up for a viewing with William H Brown, which I had booked with the Banner Cross office. I rang the office after waiting outside the property for 10 minutes, and was assured that the agent Hayley had my number and was on her way down to see me. I rang again after another 10 minutes and was told the same again. I rang a third time after I had waited half an hour only to find that they had closed the office and gone home! I have just given up and gone home after an hour of waiting and no communication. Extremely disappointing and very unprofessional.
27th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)I have been in the process of buying a property via the Blundells Hillsborough branch since March 2024. The process has been plagued by abysmal communication from Blundells and, even worse, service from their in-house recommended solicitors. On multiple occasions, the estate agents have agreed to answer our queries but never return calls, while the solicitors have sat on the information and refused to act on it. The process has been going on for circa six months with no end. Avoid this estate agent and solicitors at all costs.

From the very beginning, the team was professional, friendly, and highly knowledgeable. They guided me through every step of the process, making it as smooth and stress-free as possible.Communication was excellent throughout, with regular updates and prompt responses to any queries I had. They clearly know the local market well and gave me sound advice that helped me achieve a great sale price.The staff at Reeds Rains went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled efficiently, and I always felt that my sale was in safe hands. I highly recommend Reeds Rains to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Their expertise and customer service are truly top-notch.

19th Jul 2024 (11 weeks ago)Kevin Parkin I have used Bloor and Co for several property sales and I would use no one else to handle a property related transaction. Their professionalism , attention to detail and first class communications help make the process so much less stressful than with many other agents. Everyone in the organisation has the same positive attitude towards their clients with queries answered promptly in a way which is clear and thorough. A real pleasure to deal with the whole team.

4th Sep 2024 (29 days ago)They advertised a house on Barkby Road in Wincobank, which had a defective title due to a missing leasehold title. I then found out the seller had divided the land at the side and rear as they lived on the adjoining road (which the seller kindly never informed me). Haybrook Chapeltown then had the audacity to call me when they relisted the property apparently after the seller sorted the title issue (I bought my house at this point). Looking on Rightmove seems like some poor soul has agreed to purchase this property as it's now showing as sold STC hopefully their solicitors carry out due diligence. £1,100 spent on a survey and solicitor fees but a bullet dodged gladly nonetheless.

(132 reviews)2nd Sep 2024 (4 weeks ago)I rented an apartment in Merment House (Kelham) for 1 year through this company. I would advise all renters to steer clear for your own sake. On moving into the property, it was still full of the previous tenants left over stuff and it was filthy throughout which meant we had to keep all of our stuff in boxes in one corner of the flat while they removed and brought the flat to a semi acceptable state (still nowhere near clean). Throughout the tenancy, many of our complaints and issues were ignored or given hacky fixes which led to the issues cropping up again towards the end of the tenancy. The landlord was not willing to pay for anything to be fixed/updated unless it was a legal requirement but still had the cheek to try and raise our rent by £100 if we wanted to renew the tenancy. At the end of the tenancy, this company had the audacity to then try to withhold £300 of my deposit for CLEANING and for sealant which was already in a state. Luckily this wasn't my first rodeo with parasitic letting agencies so I had taken about 80 photos throughout the flat when moving in/out and made sure the issues were documented via email so thankfully the DPS awarded my full deposit back to me. However, I had to wait over 2 months for that decision, leaving me out of pocket £300 which wasn't ideal in the current climate. I would strongly advise anyone looking to rent in Sheffield to either steer clear of this lot or take similar precautions or they will absolutely try to steal from you.

Completely put at ease with the whole process and were head and shoulders above the other prospective agents we spoke to. Nothing was too much trouble and were always available for any enquiries, advice and support, not just on the sale but were also happy to give advice on our purchase too. We were always kept up to date as things progressed during the sale process. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and would definitely use them again (but not for a while yet ????) A huge thank you to all the team at Mallinson and Co for being there for us every step of the way!

I chose them for this reason. I have been extremely satisfied with their performance and also my own thought process in picking EweMove to sell my property.
5th Jul 2024 (13 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people.
