12th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)I would recommend Simon Blyth to everyone, we have recently used them for two sales and a purchase and their service is excellent. Maria and her team at Penistone are calm and supportive in the most stressful of situations, they are always at the end of the phone to alleviate even the smallest of worries and go above and beyond. There was no pressure during valuation, very honest and clear advice was given and they have gone above and beyond. Our situation hasn’t been the easiest but I wouldn’t have wanted to work with any other agent. Maria chases sales very efficiently and has also liaised with our purchase and done everything possible to help us. Thank you so much 10/10.
17th Jun 2025 (9 mo. ago)Unprofessional Conduct & Missed Appointments—Unacceptable Service. Twice now, I’ve attempted to get a valuation from this office, and twice, it's been a disaster. April: I canceled my valuation via email, yet the valuer still showed up—right as I was heading to an important meeting. Clearly, the staff failed to communicate internally. June: This time, my valuation was confirmed, yet the valuer never showed. No call, no email, no text—nothing. Completely unprofessional. When I called to find out what happened, I was connected to the same valuer, who outright accused me of booking multiple valuations. False. A complete fabrication. It’s clear he decided to leave me hanging as some kind of petty revenge for the first canceled appointment—an error by his own office, not me. To that valuer: Grow up. This isn’t a playground. It’s a business, and you’re supposed to act like a professional.

4th Mar 2026 (17 days ago)Not very happy . payed for identity check to them,and another 2 identity checks with solicitors totalling £265.00. surely 1 identity check is good enough if you give national insurance which I have had from 15 year old. It's just money making.- 12th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)Awful, awful experience. Blundells ruined my house sale, lied about the details and refused to engage with my complaint. They cost me 10 weeks, thousands of pounds and don't seem to care. Unprofessional, misleading and accountability resistant.

Was struggling to get calls back about the application but she went above and beyond and sorted it out for us. Very polite people

Highly recommend * UPDATE * It’s been 8 years since I first went with Davis and Lund I couldn’t recommend Shane and Caitlin enough on the lettings side A friendly team who are always to hand when issues arise and always quick to respond to solve any problems that may have arisen. Highly recommended????????
9th Mar 2026 (12 days ago)A speedy and professional job by Rod, Aaron and all the staff I dealt with Alexander Jacob. I'll try to keep this short; I had a small property for sale in Retford which had been rented for a while with another estate agent in town and I asked what they thought I could get on a sale and after an extensive discussion they suggested it be marketed at £80k and wouldn't budge on it. I was never going to accept this and a third party(thank you Shane!) suggested I speak with Rod, he told me £100k would be easily achievable and indicated a little work be done, which came to less than £1k and was arranged by AJ, and I sold for £110k. I'm not suggesting that this will be everyone's experience but Alexander Jacob clearly have a far, far better grip on how the local market is trending than some other estate agents in town.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
11th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)Absolutely fantastic! From the time Kelly came to do the valuation , take the photos to the board going up, the process was slick, professional and without intrusion. My house sold within 3 days. I have moved house many times but never have I encountered such a professional outfit. Informed on progress every step the way .These girls were professional, polite, and very supportive during this stressful. time. What a team ! All this without excessive fees too . What do they say about Estate Agents? Not in this case!! Thank you very much Bell & Co. Sue and Lottie.

3rd Mar 2026 (18 days ago)Couldn’t recommend EweMove and Shaz highly enough. We decided to use Shaz to sell our house after losing out on a purchase where he was the agent because of how well he came across. He subsequently assisted us by advising on how best to improve our property before sale before we had agreed to use EweMove. During our sale process a bid we had accepted dropped out, and so we had to go back to market, and we also had two house purchases fall through after survey meaning our new buyer was required to hold on while we secured another property. During this whole process Shaz helped us on the buy side with calibrating our offers and adjustments including following challenging survey findings, and on the sell side managed the marketing and buyer side brilliantly to ensure we secured a reliable buyer at the price we wanted and our ultimate buyer remained engaged despite considerable delay given our two collapsed purchases. I don’t believe moving into the property we are now in would have been possible without Shazs assistance.
10th Mar 2026 (11 days ago)Initially we decided to use Leaders because of the enthusiasm of Lisa, who came out to do the appraisal. Once we had a buyer, the negotiation on price started. We advised Chloe of our minimum selling price, adding 'this is just between us'. Less than five minutes later, she came back to us, sounding pleased with herself and advising that the buyer would meet our minimum selling price. There didn't seem to have been much negotiation in those few short minutes. Maybe we should have made it clear that the minimum was just that; a minimum, not the price we wanted to sell at. Yvonne was our sales progressor and we were not impressed with her lack of contact. A couple of times we gave her information but got no reply to our emails. We were in contact with our solicitor regularly and Yvonne did chase information from the solicitor on one occasion that we had already been given by them. Overall, the sale went through very smoothly and quickly but we think that was more to do with our solicitor being very proactive and our contact and chasing of them. We have sold a number of properties over the years and Leaders sits somewhere in the middle of the agents we have used.
17th Mar 2026 (4 days ago)We entrusted Lewis with handling viewings of our home while we were away on holiday, and had an offer agreed before we returned from our travels. What followed was a long and complex chain, full of challenges and more twists than a soap opera. There were several points where it genuinely felt like everything might fall apart, and I truly believe that without Lewis’s persistence and dedication in the end, the sale would have collapsed at the final stage—wasting months of time, money and effort for everyone involved. Lewis went above and beyond to ensure our sale progressed, even when the other agents in the chain were unhelpful and ineffective with acting on issues at their end—which, in fact, were the root cause of the delays and potential chain collapse. He took it upon himself to chase and manage those parts of the chain, (despite not representing those clients), simply to keep everything moving and ensure we could exchange and complete on time. He is incredibly hardworking and clearly passionate about what he does. We received emails as early as 5am and had calls and updates well into evenings, showing just how committed he was to getting everything over the line—even at his own expense. Thank you again Lewis, for your dedication and perseverance. We know this wasn’t an easy one for you, and we’re truly grateful for all the effort you put into securing our sale.
