Being a first time landlord they made the process incredibly straightforward - Indi handled everything so professionally, and was true to her word every step of the way. She was super responsive, thorough and I had complete trust in her to manage the tenancy end-to-end. When selling my property, Indi again actioned things at pace and secured the price I wanted. In terms of managing the process through to completion, the consistent service levels of the team were proven as Hefina was fantastic at liaising with my vendor, keeping me updated and worked in the background to keep the momentum going when the process slowed. If you’re looking to rent or sell a property, I would highly recommend the incredible team at Martin & Co. to handle it.
29th Oct 2024 (21 weeks ago)AVOID THIS ESTATE AGENCY IF YOU CAN!!! I had a very disappointing experience with Connells Stevenage. After agreeing on a price for a house and being assured it would be taken off the market, I proceeded with my mortgage broker and solicitor. However, the agency continued to hold viewings, and a week later, I was informed that someone else had made a higher offer. This lack of professionalism and disregard for our agreement was incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend this agency based on my experience."
22nd Oct 2024 (22 weeks ago)Moving places for me overall was not great. The main issue was the lack of urgency when issues with the flat arose. For example, the lock on my door broke and I was unable to access any of my belonging or medications. After contacting moving places that evening, I was told to expect a call that evening to get access to my room. After having to chase up the issue the next day multiple times, they only arrived on the property the next evening, just to see if one of their estate agents could open the door, despite myself and multiple others trying. I explained multiple times the urgency of this issue as I couldn’t access any of my belongings but they didn’t seem to care. A locksmith was send the following morning which was good but late. We had many changes in estate agents for our property, meaning we would have to call multiple times and explain issues to multiple different people.

Everyone on the team has been a pleasure to deal with - answering queries in a timely fashion, always courteous and professional but friendly with it. Non-intrusive but diligent with inspections of the flat. My very best wishes to Josie, Louise and all!
