26th Sep 2024 (27 days ago)Terrible agency. Twice in a row that we requested to view the place within half a day but no reply. Later tried to reach out again, only got told that the place was already fully booked for viewing/ someone wished to buy the place. Terrible service. Everytime called to enquire but refused to give information, got told email only, then after a few days tried to call again and they said the place was already gone.

2nd Oct 2024 (21 days ago)Very impressed with Lane and Bennetts Letchworth. The small team are friendly and professional and you very much get a personal service. We dealt mostly with Patricia and Michael, it was nice to be interacting with only a couple of people who knew our case well. All of our enquiries and communications were dealt with promptly. We were happy with the price on our sale, which was secured around 2 weeks after putting the property on the market. Our sale went through smoothly, with no issues. Very much recommend.

We were with another estate agent for a few months with no sale and then moved to Country Properties. Within weeks, our house was sold! They kept us up to date with everything and always picked up the phone when we had questions. As we moved back to Leicester before the sale completed, they made sure the house was okay by doing regular check ups (especially with the recent rainfall in Flitwick!) and making sure the house was fine for everyone’s pieces of mind. They truly went above and beyond and we couldn’t thank them enough. The whole team were an absolute joy! Thank you so much again for everything…you were all amazing. Riky & Manisha

They were also able to help negotiate the price of our onward purchase with a neighbouring estate agent. In all very happy. Big shout out to Craig Putton who is a lovely guy and very helpful in the whole process. Also Imogen for her excellent and sunny phone manner. ????

8th Oct 2024 (15 days ago)Unable to recommend. Great dealing with Robert and Peter until a sale agreed, after which the tumbleweed set in. No contact at all, myMove portal not updated, no updates, nothing. Took buyers back to unoccupied property without a courtesy call to let me know. Later found out they had significant staff shortage after a couple of departures. If someone had told me that, the review might be kinder, taking that into account. But they didn't. Since leaving the review I've had an apology phone call, further explaining the temporary staffing difficulties they had. Wishing them well in getting everything back to a better level of service

20th Oct 2024 (3 days ago)Tried to book a viewing for a house we thought may be a good fit for us… very surprised by the negative language used in response to my enquiry when calling. They suggested right off the bat it wasn’t suitable - even having no idea on my current situation. Obviously they have no interest in doing any work to sell their houses, or even the sales acumen to pick up my own property for their portfolio, and tbh, even borderline offensive asking me if ‘i could even afford it’ ?! Seriously. If you have a property that needs actually someone to help sell it, and not a house that ‘will sell itself’ I’d steer clear.

Their professionalism, service, attentiveness, responsiveness and attention to detail is more than I ever thought I'd get from them as letting agents. They put in effort with viewings and found a great tenant for my house. I'd advise any landlord going with them. There is a reason why they have the best Google reviews of any lettings agent in Stevenage!
