Saunders understand their market and are lovely to deal with as a buyer.

23rd Jul 2024 (10 weeks ago)I viewed two rental properties with Mohammed, the first one had a previous pest problem and when I asked for the documentation from pest control to show the relevant work was completed I was told they could not provide it. (Ripon road) - Still available. The second property is on Shorndean street, I was the first person to view and as soon as I left I called the office to make an offer and was told I’d receive a call back, they never called back. I chased them and was told someone else had put in an offer so I couldn’t. Weeks on this property is still showing as available and every time I call Mohammed either avoids me, or has said I cannot offer as other offers are going forward. (Even though I was the first to view it and call) As an estate agent myself I can’t seem to understand why they will only put forward one offer as they are legally obliged to put all offers forward fairly. I will be making a formal complaint against them to the property ombudsman.

She handled the viewings and the offers very well and continued to be a vital link between buyers, sellers and solicitors throughout the process, making sure everything went as smoothly as possible. She totally took the stress of selling on her shoulders and we got a great deal in the end, which I very much put down to her professionalism and enthusiasm. Angela is someone who is determined to do the very best she can for you and takes pride from doing a good job. Highly recommended.

14th Jun 2024 (16 weeks ago)We rented a property through Connor Prince and they were fantastic, easily the best estate agent we have dealt with. We spoke with Debbie throughout the tenancy, and she was always fast to respond and extremely helpful, and always a delight to speak to. The maintenance team were brilliant, whenever we raised an issue, they were fast to act and regularly checked in with us to ensure the landlord had fixed the issues and to check if we needed any support. We highly recommend Connor Prince.

He kept me informed every step of the way, and even when it was under offer kept me and my buyer updated. There were a few issues to resolve along the way and Mark was there for me every step. I cannot rate Mark enough.
26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.- 22nd Dec 2021 (2 years ago)I cannot say enough about V&H Homes and specifically Maria at the Ashtead Branch. While they are a smaller independent agent, they will absolutely give you the personalized service that an independent can provide. Give those big estate agents in Surrey a miss, take your business to V&H. The communication throughout the process was exemplary, the dedication to getting the sale was second to none. We had tried to sell previously with the usual suspects in Surrey and none of them could get the sale and it seemed hopeless, V&H got it done in 10 days! There were many times in our sale where things got rocky and Maria went well over and above day in and day out to ensure that everything went through. I truly believe that if we had went with another big establishment high street agent that our sale would not have happened. While Maria was absolutely amazing, we also had interactions with the other associates at Ashtead V&H Homes. When Maria was out of office our file was well looked after, the service didn’t slip at all which is very rare in a sales situation. As I said at the beginning of this review, I really can’t say enough about Maria and V&H. These days reviews are either 5* or 1* and it’s getting more and more difficult to sift through them to make a decision. This is 100% a genuine 5* review. Were there issues in the sales process, of course there were, we were selling a house. But it wasn’t about the issues, it was about how they were handled, the speed at which they were handled, and the fact that when something came up we were never left to worry, V&H were always just a phone call or e-mail away. Thank you so much Maria and V&H Homes for the personalized service and all the time and effort that you spent on our file. We absolutely owe our sale and the fact that we are snugly in our new home all to you! Very best regards, Danny

After trying three other estate agents with no success, Olivia found us a delightful young couple to buy our house and she kept with us despite various set backs right through to completion. One of the advantages of the way Laurels work is that it was Olivia who signed us up and showed the house and sorted out all the problems that beset the sale, which made it much easier for us to understand the progress being made, especially towards the end when we were abroad on holiday. Thank you very much Olivia, Jon and Anita.

D & D are very understanding of the human side of a property transaction, this shines through their quick and effective communication and their sensitivity when delivering difficult news. D&D priced my house correctly and worked tirelessly to get the best offer possible. My sale wasn't the easiest through no fault of their own, however, they made a difficult process much easier to bear. If I ever had to move again I would choose them and I have recommended them to friends and neighbours.
