I was going through a divorce too, Harvey was brilliant from start to finish and very understanding of my circumstances. I had a smooth transaction and my house was sold fast and without any issues. 8th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)I first dealt with James Chiltern back in 2019 when I met Mathew for an appraisal. After dealing with several pushy estate agents, I found Mathew's approach to be refreshing and was impressed by his knowledge of both the market and the local area. I also met with the owner, Ayyaz, and was equally impressed with his knowledge and for his enthusiasm for the area. After receiving sound advice on both the sales and rental options, I decided to proceed with their letting service. Ayyaz took a great set of professional photos, and his attention to detail was evident when liaising with me on the property particulars. In just a few days, a tenant was found, and after the referencing was completed, we agreed on the asking price. I subsequently used James Chiltern in 2023, and another tenant was found in a matter of days and at the asking price. On that occasion, I dealt with Chris in the lettings department, who worked quickly and efficiently; always keeping me posted on new developments. Due to James Chiltern's professionalism and high level of service, I decided to refer them to my neighbour, and unsurprisingly, they quickly found a quality, long-term tenant. It has been a pleasure working with Ayyaz and his team, and I have always received a warm welcome when visiting the office on London Road. I will definitely continue to use James Chiltern and will recommend to neighbours, friends, and family.

7th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)When they are trying to get you through the checks and get the deposit, they are kind stop calling and emailing. Once you’re a tenant they don’t respond to emails resulting in me having to continually call and even go into the office to get matters responded to. It’s a bit chaotic and not very professional. When I was moving out I had people letting themselves in and out without letting me know even though I was still responsible for the property and paying the bills. Even my landlord said they had been a “.shambles”.they just want you to sign up and get the rent each month. Other than that, not bothered.

Ellie's resilience and confidence was inspiring. She listened to our needs and kept us updated. I wasn't the easiest of clients but Ellie maintained her professionalism and calmness and persevered. I don't know who was more happy when the house finally got sold - Ellie or Me - we both cried! It's been a long road. Thank you Ellie, Kapil and the team. Ever grateful for making our dream come true.
6th Apr 2024 (19 days ago)I was with another Agent in Wallington who were absolutely useless, i moved to Cubitt and West after my contract ended. I sold my property in Wallington through them during a difficult period due to the economy and interest rates continually rising. I had bought a new build and had to wait a long time for it to be built, Nigel and the team were exceptional throughout, always returned my phone calls and assisted with any issues during the process, great customer service , woukd definitely recommend C&W, thank you for all your help.
