1st May 2024 (12 weeks ago)We are due to complete on our first ever house purchase this week and fox and sons have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Having viewed and attempted to buy a few times over the last few years, we are well versed in the pushy style of other firms and have been nervous of the buying process falling through as it has done on previous properties. From the get go, fox and sons amesbury have been way above any agents we have viewed with in the past. Courtney was relaxed, friendly and informative, allowing a comfortable and unrushed viewing of the property. We took their advice and chose to use the all in services package with sequence/ fox and sons and this has enabled us to step away from a lot of the chasing and allow the different agents to communicate effectively with each other. My husband's working schedule has meant he was unable to visit the property before putting an offer in. HOWEVER: fox and sons have a fantastic video walk round of the property where you can click through the whole building and outside space from different angles. This is accurate and not exaggerated with fish eye lenses etc. This addition enabled my husband to be able to look around the property and discuss it with me and meant we were able to put an offer in without delay. Without this we would not have been able to offer before someone else did. This tool is incredible and such a plus point. It's also meant I can wistfully 'walk around' the property and plan our layouts before completion. Amy has been incredibly informative and reassuring and speaks to you like you're her only client and nothing is a bother. There were issues further up the chain but she explained and reassured us knowing we were nervous as having been burned before with chains failing. Courtney and Amy are an absolute pleasure and I am so happy that we have been fortunate enought to buy through Fox and Sons amesbury. They will be our go to if we ever decide to sell. Customers for life!
30th Jun 2024 (27 days ago)Could have been another 5 star review.. checked out of a flat and left it in perfect condition yet after 5 weeks did not receive my deposit, called and for hours on the phone did not get anywhere other than Vicky trashing the landlord and keep repeating "we can not help you" and hang up on me. Called again asked to speak with the manager who refused to apologise when I told him that Vicky hang up the phone on customers and was very arrogant. landlady passed away and she told the estate agent to release the deposit but no once cared and was missed. had to wait further 2 weeks until next of kin made it in writing Shocking service.. not again
26th Nov 2021 (2 years ago)Sarah has been absolutly fantastic throughout the entire process often going above and beyond. I can't say I was the easiest of clients following a bad experience we had as a buyer by another local estate agent, so you could say I needed abit more reassurance. Sarah made the process a smooth one and not at any point was I paranoid this might fall through. We received a sales memo 20th October and exchanged today. Great experience and cannot fault them! Thank you so much Brockenhurst!- 17th Dec 2021 (2 years ago)We recently purchased a property through Savills that should have been a smooth process based on a small chain however for various reasons outside our or the buyers control it was far from it. Hayley was an angel and acted to keep our sellers calm and ensured we finally reached a completion date. Would absolutely return to Savills if we are brave enough to move again in the future!

22nd Apr 2024 (14 weeks ago)I have been working with Lindsay Johnn for almost a year on the sale of my mother's house. I live in California, and the house was in probate and other agents and lawyers kept telling me how many potential complications I was likely to run into, but when I met Lindsay, instead of worrying me, she reassured me and filled me with confidence! Yes, of course we ran into a couple of problems, but Lindsay always met us with solutions even before she told us what the problem was!???? To say she is cool under fire is an understatement. Her customer service was second to none. As I said, I live in California, and if I emailed her in the evening my time she wouldn't just email me back when she woke up, she would call me the next morning on my way to work! As I said, the house was in probate, so it required a long period of time before exchange of contracts and completion, which required strong negotiation skills on her part, and she got us what we needed! I only met Lindsay once in person, and I only regret that I wasn't able to work more with her in person, as apart from being a wonderful estate agent, she is a lovely person too! If you don't retain Lindsay to buy or sell you a house, you are missing out! Dominic Fergus-Bentall
20th Nov 2023 (8 mo. ago)Awful, I do not recommend our estate agent was very condescending and would never speak to us or ring us back with an update like he advised. They made the experience more stressful and I would never sell/buy a house with them again.

I received regular updates on the progress of the sale, and my specific requests were responded to professionally and promptly. I would recommend Bournes to anyone looking for an estate agent that offers that little bit extra.- 30th Jan 2024 (26 weeks ago)One of the worst experiences I have had. Incompetence doesn’t cover it. As someone who demands reliability and integrity I would not use this company. They are poor at communicating and when direct emails are sent they are ignored. If you are a seller I would choose another company as they will more than likely lose you clients. As a buyer I would go direct to the owner of the property and make an off the cards offer and cut them out.
7th Jul 2021 (3 years ago)Clean ( no litter), well laid out with clear maps so you can find the shops you are looking for, lovely gardens, good toilets, fair parking charges, very wide range of shops, plus cafes and snack stalls. Great if you enjoy shopping which I don't!! But if you have to go to a shopping centre this one must be one of the best - even I could tolerate it!!!
