17th Jan 2022 (3 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

24th Sep 2024 (6 mo. ago)The apprehensions of going abroad alone can bring jitters to anybody and to find a place to stay which is trustworthy and good, adds to the fright. However, I would like to thank Fly homes and specially Ms. Priya Kumari, who despite being unwell took care that I'm kept updated at each and every step of the process. The selection, the payment and the induction had been a breeze and will complement the entire team to keep in place a robust and smooth workflow with consultants like Ms. Priya to ease out lives of first timers. All the best, once again.
24th Feb 2025 (28 days ago)Well it was a bit of a journey selling my property and buying a new house but Sibley Pares were there all the way and made every effort to sort all problems, chase solicitors and builders and ease the way into my move. Would thoroughly recommend their services. Mitchell Bourner was a trojan in dealing with a sometime crazed client. Many thanks to all the team.

They gave us lots of valuable advice throughout and were always readily available to discuss any issues that arose. We would have no hestitation in using them again.

She is experienced and very responsive and is proactive in finding solutions to any tenancy concerns before they become an issue.

3rd Mar 2025 (21 days ago)I cannot recommend Freeman Forman enough. They organised the exchange of a complicated chain of properties, in a friendly and professional manner. Particularly outstanding were Hector, Stuart and Anthony (Who has now retired). It was worth every penny of the fee and I couldn't be more grateful.

Long experience in the area, an excellent understanding of the market and the importance of personal service make them a pleasure to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble.

5th Mar 2025 (19 days ago)I highly recommend Hunters Tenterden for selling your home. They sold ours in three months in a tough market and I believe it was because of their unique sales approach that it sold so quickly. I find it strange calling it unique, because to me it seems logical, but it was starkly different to the other three agencies we interviewed. There are several reasons why we chose to use Hunters, the first was how prepared Laura was when she did our evaluation. She was well informed and gave us a realistic selling price that we went on to sell our house for. She listened to us and took the time to answer all of our questions. Their approach to viewings was another reason we chose to use them. In the time leading up to the first viewings, Hannah, the agent who was to show our house, came and had a walk through making notes on important details that made our house stand as well as mundane details like when our new boiler was put in, so that she was prepared to answer buyers' questions. Another reason is that they target market rather than wait for buyers to contact them. They call those on their books who have expressed interest in similar properties, and they call potential buyers registered with their other offices. Our buyers hadn't even seen our listing because they were looking in a totally different area and were registered with a different Hunters office. It was Laura who called them and told them about our house and our village. I'm convinced, our buyer would never have seen our house had she not done this. Other reasons we had were their intimate knowledge of this part of Kent, their high quality listing photos, the customer service from the selling team leading up to the offer being made, and the always available team who handled the sale once we accepted the offer. Selling a home is a painful process but Laura and her team made it as pain free as possible.

31st Jan 2025 (7 weeks ago)Contacted Eden Estates after download from GetAgent provided me with a list of local estate agents. I selected this agent as was happy with statistics of finding quick buyer turnarounds. A senior official (Jeff) arrived as arranged to my property, timely on the date and time previously arranged. He was shown a quick tour of the property, and provided me with a sales figure window, and this was accepted by myself, as it was close to the figure I had in mind. He also provided me with local history of selling in the area, and other useful information ie, sales patterns and offers from clients,local solicitors. He also informed me of their charges, which I believe to be competetive with other local agents. From his visit, he arranged for their nominated photographer to come in order to capture full measurements, detailed description of the property, and photos. This was done on the Saturday, and by the Monday, Geoff had arranged for a sales board to be erected outside, and the property displayed on their website and associated retail sites eg Zoopla Right move. During the first few days, I had many interested clients, and Geoff had arranged with me to provide a house key and present showings at agreed times between Eden estates and prospective clients. This was done, and useful feed back was given following the majority of viewings. A client has made an offer, which was initially rejected by myself, a counter offer was made, and an agreed purchase price was done with a purchaser. All throughout this quick process, I was kept informed of any updates. I would thoroughly recommend this agent, as they have successfully found a buyer for my property in just over a weeks duration, and feel that the service provided by ALL the staff in the branch was informative, polite, and useful. Note: The photography and description provided was second to none, and was to able to fully justify the layout of the rooms, informative descriptions etc.
