Despite the chain being problematic due to the failings of other estate agents within the chain Victoria Rose of S & P was professional, honest and did everything possible to ensure our buyers were able to proceed with the purchase on many occasions working out of office hours and at weekends. The good lines of communication S & P maintained between buyers, solicitors and developers resulted in us moving into our dream Home.
17th Jan 2022 (3 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.
7th Jun 2025 (10 days ago)I recently moved from London to Tunbridge Wells and am renting with Maddisons. First, the stark contrast in communication (both in terms of speed and courtesy) has been a breath of fresh air. From start to finish Maddisons have gone above and beyond to answer queries and done so in a kind and straightforward manner. Now that we’ve moved in, any queries have been promptly answered and actioned, in particular by James Richards. Maddisons is definitely the way to go if you want to have confidence in your agent and minimise moving stress. Thank you!
16th Apr 2025 (9 weeks ago)We found Jackson-Stops of Sevenoaks, particularly efficient and active in securing a sale of a property in Sevenoaks. Isabelle Greaves the associate in charge of the sale was so helpful and enthusiastic and guiding us through the whole process including co-ordinating with our solicitors. We would thoroughly recommend Jackson-Stops of Sevenoaks.
18th Sep 2024 (8 mo. ago)Told it'd be a fair viewing system and everyone would get a chance to view it before a decision, so don't worry about making an early viewing and late week one would be fine, to then be told one of the first viewers have been accepted. Pretty disgusting service, if the landlord can decide to take the first viewers then why lie to people about a "fair system".

I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. Jemima and the team were so generous with their time and knowledge - and so decent about it all. They responded to us out of hours, answered questions and gave advice that definitely wasn't their responsibility. Their positive attitudes and knowledge made the entire purchase - which can be daunting and confusing - a lot clearer.
