24th Apr 2024 (8 days ago)My father just passed away and with 3 months left on his lease we were able to pay a months rent and asked this agent to put the place on the market asap to try and ensure the landlord is left with no gap. We also asked their policy for rental with deaths and/or a probate policy. Weeks late they have shown zero compassion, have not offered a death or probate process/policy and still have not put the property back online for re-rental. DISGUSTING behaviour I wil never use Foxtons again

29th Nov 2023 (22 weeks ago)Winkworth Notting Hill are an outstanding Agency. They have long serving staff who know the market intimately and are quite simply at the top of their game. I have had a 20 year relationship with Winkworth: - First, as a rental tenant where they showed their class by treating us with utmost care and respect. - Second, as a landlord, where Winkworth handled everything proactively and efficiently. The longest vacancy I had was one week, thanks to the expertise of the Lettings Manager Lucinda Richardson and her team. The Rental Manager, Kylie Wright, was simply amazing over many years. Her and her team handled repairs and improvements on my behalf. Honestly never set a foot wrong and was absolutely reliable. James Paravicini managed accounts efficiently and was always available for queries or extra asks. - Third, when it came time to sell. Charles Erwin helped me with strategy, flat preparation, introduced an oustanding solicitor - Samantha Blakey of Merali Beedle - and guided me through the whole process. We achieved a strong price in a tough market to someone on Winkworth's books, without having to advertise the property. I could not recommend this agency strongly enough. Over 20 years I could not fault them. They have a convenient shop front in the heart of Notting Hill on Westbourne Grove. Do yourself a favour and walk in their to consult with their team about your needs. If only all real estate agencies were as good as Winkworth Notting Hill!

15th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)My overall review of Carter Jonas isn’t wholly bad ( especially when comparing to other estate agents) but if Leo Goodman as bad at sales as he is as letting then I wouldn’t recommend buying a property from Leo. He clearly only cares about his own commission and doesn’t take the time to give prospective clients the information they need. Prior to me moving into a flat I rented from Carter Jonas, he asked if I wanted a chest of drawers left by the ex tenant and he said there were no laundry facilities in the flat and recommended I “ wash my clothes by hand”. As it turns out, the dresser belonged to the landlord ( so I had to painstakingly return it after moving) and the flat did in fact have a washer and dryer. - surely it wouldn’t have taken him more than a few minutes to enquire about laundry facilities rather than give an incorrect answer and make a ludicrous suggestion that I wash my clothes by hand. When reaching out to Leo to find a resolution for the chest of drawer incident, he showed no empathy and clearly didn’t care. When my flat was put on the market I had to continually probe and ask to be kept in the loop on viewings ( even though, per my contract, I should've been given 48 hours notice). We all make mistakes but this is the type of attitude that gives Estate agents a bad name.

5th Apr 2024 (27 days ago)We recently had the pleasure of working with Jessie at John D. Wood to find our first flat in London, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the first (of a few different) showings throughout signing for our flat, every single person we worked with at John D. Wood was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process; especially considering we were new to the unique intricacies of renting in the United Kingdom. Jessie went so far above and beyond to understand our specific needs, preferences, and timeline, and was incredibly responsive to answer any question we had. Being new to the United Kingdom and London, her knowledge of different neighbors and renting practices was hugely helpful. We never felt pressured to make a decision on a flat and appreciated her patience as we explored different options. It felt like Jessie trusted the relationship we had built and trusted the quality of their units to find a place we loved, rather than feeling the need to sell us on a place that we didn’t. That was such a refreshing experience and one that made all of the difference. We knew that if we were taking time to view a flat, it was a potential winner. Ultimately, Jessie helped us find the perfect flat that exceeded our expectations in every way. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication and genuine care for us. She made what can be a stressful experience, very much enjoyable and exciting. If you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy realtor in London, we highly recommend Jessie and John D. Wood.

I cannot put in words how incredible it was with him guiding us through a difficult and bumpy ride. He was always at the end of the phone. Just fantastic.
18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)I've had some good and some bad experiences throughout my 1.5-year tenancy at a flat managed by Chesterons. Unfortunately it ended pretty poorly. Despite having handed over the keys at the end of January 2024, they have yet to complete the end-of-tenancy procedures and have been extremely unresponsive to email.

As a developer and a landlord with a number of residential properties across London, I initially met Charlotte as a tenant during her tenure at her previous agency. Upon meeting her, I was very impressed by her professionalism and ability to promptly address any issues that I flagged up during my tenancy. While disappointed to learn that she had been recruited by Sandersons and would no longer be managing the property I resided in, it served as a testament Matthew’s knack for identifying talent and his commitment to building a professional team around him – so I took note of this. Fast forward a few months, we have successfully completed a development project consisting of 5 flats in the W11 area. Having historically mostly dealt with an agency which is considered to be one of the top in the country as well as globally, we initially intended to engage them on a sole basis for marketing the flats with the view to let them out. However, given how impressed I was with Charlotte, I thought it would be a good opportunity to have a conversation with Sandersons and consider them also. Subsequent to Sandersons’ team attending the property and making a very good first impression, we have decided to list the flat via dual listing with both our previous estate agency and Sandersons. My general belief before engaging Sandersons was that it really does not matter what estate agency markets the property - the reasoning behind it being that the prospective tenants access the same web portals to conduct their search. I was incorrect in this belief. Sandersons’ letting team led by Anna have managed to find tenants for 5 out of 5 flats in a brief stint the flats were on the market. I am yet to be able to explain to myself how they have managed to achieve this, however the result speaks for itself. They really do care about their clients across both ends of the market and I cannot commend them enough for their exceptional service.

Any faults with the property are quickly remediated, and the agency is very responsive to queries in general. Renewal of my tenancy was handled quickly and professionally by my agent James. 14th Sep 2021 (2 years ago)Great refurbishment in West Upper, now Westview. Food, drink & seating in concourse excellent, although food and drink extremely pricey. Nice new padded seats and big screens in stadium. Great at night game, they always do fireworks, great evening.

Looking for a place to rent in the current market isn’t the easiest process, but Huw Howell-Pryce has made it very smooth sailing, which I really appreciate and helped take some of the stress off for myself. Would definitely recommend!

Edward is very responsive professional agent ..I know the whole Team for many years and I'm glad I came back to the Wedgewood again as the result to sell my flat is achieved and I'm happy ..The Sale progression was dealt with a professional way as well .Many thanks !!!
