1st Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)We've visited a property to let with John D Wood. We liked the property, and sent an offer. Offer accepted. So we paid the holding deposit. We went through the referencing, very long and time consuming. It took 15 days to have a feedback. And the feedback was : we can't reference you because your tax returns were from France, not from the UK. The letting agent offered us to pay all the rents (18 months) upfront, to skip the reference. We obviously refused. And we started panicking, because our move out date from our current property was approaching... We quickly visited other properties. We found a house to let through another letting agency. The referencing took literally 2 days, and we had no issues (they accepted tax returns from France). Luckily, we have been able to find house to let in time. John D Wood came back to us, in the meanwhile, saying that the landlord had finally accepted to rent us his property, even if our tax returns were from France. But it was too late. We had already found another house. But John D Wood is refusing to reimburse our holding deposit, because they say that it's our decision not to let this house and that our offer was accepted by the landlord. So we now have to enter into a legal fight. I would highly recommend NOT to work with John D Wood.
15th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Do not use Foxtons. Untrustworthy, dishonest estate agent. Terrible experience with Chuck + team leading me to loose thousands of pounds in fees. They will agree to conditions of exclusivity, however don’t believe them. They will just lie and tell you to pay all the fees, that everything is ok and follow through on buying a property, only to wake up one day and find out it’s been sold to someone else. Waste of time, waste of money, and I can agree with the other 1 star reviews on here, totally stressful, terrible experience.

2nd Apr 2024 (21 days ago)We had the pleasure working with Conor at Chestertons Fulham during our recent home purchase and we were pleased with the service provided. Conor demonstrated a good understanding of our preferenes and was responsive to our inquiries, which made the process efficient. While there were a few hiccups along the way dealing with sellers who were not easy, Conor handled them professionally and ensured our needs were met to the extent possible. Overall we are grateful for Conor's assistance and would happily recommend him to others in search of a reliable real estate agent.

We had heard no end of horror stories about the London rental market - but our experience couldn't have been further from that with Horton and Garton! The wonderful Alliyah helped my parter and I find a great place (and move in! ) in a matter of weeks and the process was smooth from start to finish. We couldn't be happier and would recommend their services to anyone.

We had constant communication and high touch assistance in guiding a sitting tenant out of our property whilst at the same time prepping and listing the apartment for sale. As a developer and a landlord with a number of residential properties across London, I initially met Charlotte as a tenant during her tenure at her previous agency. Upon meeting her, I was very impressed by her professionalism and ability to promptly address any issues that I flagged up during my tenancy. While disappointed to learn that she had been recruited by Sandersons and would no longer be managing the property I resided in, it served as a testament Matthew’s knack for identifying talent and his commitment to building a professional team around him – so I took note of this. Fast forward a few months, we have successfully completed a development project consisting of 5 flats in the W11 area. Having historically mostly dealt with an agency which is considered to be one of the top in the country as well as globally, we initially intended to engage them on a sole basis for marketing the flats with the view to let them out. However, given how impressed I was with Charlotte, I thought it would be a good opportunity to have a conversation with Sandersons and consider them also. Subsequent to Sandersons’ team attending the property and making a very good first impression, we have decided to list the flat via dual listing with both our previous estate agency and Sandersons. My general belief before engaging Sandersons was that it really does not matter what estate agency markets the property - the reasoning behind it being that the prospective tenants access the same web portals to conduct their search. I was incorrect in this belief. Sandersons’ letting team led by Anna have managed to find tenants for 5 out of 5 flats in a brief stint the flats were on the market. I am yet to be able to explain to myself how they have managed to achieve this, however the result speaks for itself. They really do care about their clients across both ends of the market and I cannot commend them enough for their exceptional service.

10th Nov 2021 (2 years ago)Amazing stadium to visit. The atmosphere is truly alive throughout the game! They have many facilities including beers, drinks, food and restrooms. The layout of the stadium is easy to navigate and things are never too far away from you stand. The staff are great and the games are extremely fun to watch.
