11th Jun 2025 (5 weeks ago)I wouldn’t recommend them at all if you’re renting. Don’t expect any help from them if you need anything, they’re only interested in taking their cut and provide nothing for it. Repeated phone calls to their office can go unanswered for days. Phone calls bounce around from the office you called to head office and they don’t respond either. Not entirely sure what service they actually provide. Make sure you read the tenancy agreement regarding rental payments and when they are due if you pay anything up front. Good luck!
27th Jun 2025 (19 days ago)Really bad. I can not say anything. My wife moved this flat 2 months ago and they still didn’t take the mattress. Which I told I have mattress and they said we will come to collect. They came to check home but nothing changed. They are super friendly and responsive until you get the flat ! Then they are not responding mails. When you call there is always someone else looking after about your case and he/she is not on the line

We were on a very tight schedule while looking for an apartment in central London. From the very beginning, Siobhan demonstrated an exceptional ability to listen to our needs and preferences. She was dedicated to finding a property that would meet all our requirements and excelled in communication between us and the landlord. Siobhan’s hands-on approach made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. She was always punctual for meetings and viewings and proactively communicated with us, guiding us through the process. Her friendly demeanour and genuine care for her clients made us feel valued and understood. Laurent was wonderful from start to finish. Super helpful, thoughtful, responsive and really kept the dialogue going and sale on track when the lawyers were sitting on their hands. He is hugely knowledgeable about the market and experienced at the sale process. Made my life easier too by helping me out and going to my flat to check its cleanliness, perform an inventory when my tenant left... I can't recommend him enough. Selling is super stressful and he really made the whole thing much easier for me.

4th Jul 2025 (12 days ago)Update- I have now sold a flat through Paramount (as well as previously had them managing tenants and leasing of my flat) and I can't recommend Paramount highly enough. They just do things differently and better. Despite being based overseas and in a different timezone, the team went out of their way to communicate with me and involve me in the process. Everyone there works as a highly efficient team with their own specialty areas. Very grateful for the help of Adam, Harrison Jamie, Mehul, Sandro and Suzanne for all their help with the sale and getting the flat ready and Spencer for helping manage all the refurbishments in the beginning.

3rd Jul 2025 (13 days ago)I’m honestly still a bit in shock at how easy Bler made everything. As someone moving to London alone for the first time, I was nervous and overwhelmed, but Bler was so kind and supportive from the beginning. I couldn’t believe how quickly he managed to get everything sorted- from documents to viewings to finalising the tenancy, he handled it all so efficiently. But more than that, he really listened to what I wanted and needed. The place we found together is perfect- it’s so much better than I ever imagined I’d be able to find, and I feel safe, happy, and at home. Bler didn’t treat me like just another tenant; he genuinely cared about making sure I was comfortable and confident in my decision. I’m so thankful for all the help and care he put into this process. He made a really scary transition feel exciting and smooth. I couldn't recommend him enough.

3rd Jul 2025 (13 days ago)Sadly very unpleasant dealing with this agency and different staff in this office. Unprofessional, dishonest, disrespectful. Been in London for 23 years and this is one of the WORSE. Very very aggressive and quick to make you pay the money and sign the contract and very very Slow to provide any any kind of help or service. I have to stuck with this for 2 years because of my contract and my landlord is really respectful and good. Tried to talk with the manager complete ignorance, no response to emails... But if they want anything from you can call you 6 - 7 times a day with out even considering privacy. NOT RECOMMENDED find another place in the area.
1st Jul 2025 (15 days ago)Avoid Portico like a plague. The management has changed recently, and unfortunately, it's been a disaster since. They have hired a bunch of clowns , the new Property Manager escpecially - Melissa Alves Meireles. Appears completely unprofessional, service quality has dropped dramatically compared to just two years ago. Communication is poor, and attempts to clarify contractual obligations are met with vague or dismissive responses. Honestly, even ChatGPT could have provided more coherent and respectful responses.

He is an excellent agent who managed to arrange everything for my flat rental in the shortest possible time. Despite it being a day off, he was incredibly attentive to my needs, understanding the urgency of the situation, and ensuring a smooth process from start to finish. His professionalism, respectful approach, and efficiency made all the difference. 18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From day one, she has been proactive, easy to reach, and completely committed to helping move things forward — even offering to chase updates late in the evenings when needed! She provided valuable insights during the offer stage and supported me through renegotiations when risks came to light later in the process. She always explained what was within her role and what fell to the solicitors but never used that as a reason to step back. Instead, she stayed fully engaged, chasing replies from the seller’s solicitor and keeping everyone aligned, even when legal delays arose.
