Their marketing and photographs were excellent, they achieved the price we wanted and kept us up to date throughout the entire process. Very pleased indeed and thoroughly recommend Jake and his Team.

21st Jul 2026 (14 days ago)I had an extremely disappointing experience with this estate agency and would strongly encourage anyone considering renting, buying or selling through them to think carefully.<br>After progressing through the rental application process, our application was withdrawn at the very last minute with little communication or explanation. We were then told that the landlord wanted to increase the rent. Despite agreeing to the higher rent to avoid losing the property, the agency failed to keep us informed of the outcome or provide any meaningful updates.<br>The lack of communication and consideration caused an incredible amount of unnecessary stress. We have two young children and had spent the weekend preparing for our move. We were around 90% packed and ready to leave, only to be left in limbo with no answers.<br>To make matters worse, I submitted a formal complaint about how the situation was handled, but no proper complaints procedure has been followed and no genuine attempt has been made to address or resolve my concerns.<br>I understand that landlords can change their minds and that not every tenancy proceeds as planned. However, the way this agency handled the situation was unprofessional, inconsiderate and lacking in basic communication. A simple update or honest explanation would have made a significant difference.<br>Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this agency. If you're looking to rent, buy or sell through them, be aware that communication and customer care may fall well below what you would reasonably expect.
7th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)We have just started renting through Rhubarb and have had a great first experience. A few minor admin errors but everyone has been very responsive, kind and welcoming. Tom has been great with working around our plans and being flexible!
12th Jul 2026 (23 days ago)We rented a 2 bedroom house in Solihull for nearly 3 years using this letting agency and from the get go of moving in we had non stop issues with mould and damp. We repeatedly reported the issue and would have someone come out and do odd jobs to ‘fix’ said problem but never actually resolved the cause. I told them on numerous occasions there was an underlying cause to be told there isn’t and it’s just ’tenant lifestyle’.<br><br>The last time of reporting the same issues, a few days later we then received a section 21 for us to vacate the property. (I was pregnant at the time and due a week before they wanted us out). We were told in writing over WhatsApp that the landlord wanted possession as they were selling the property.<br><br>During this time, the mould issue had been going on for so long that the council were concerned as we lived with our toddler and I was pregnant that they requested environmental health to come out and inspect the property. They then reported back to the agency with a list of issues that they finally had to fix, including the high amounts of moisture in the walls.<br><br>We have since moved out and the same house is now back up for rent for £200 more a month.<br><br>Avoid!
3rd Mar 2026 (22 weeks ago)I was buying a property via King Homes The sale of my property fell through I informed Kong Homes immediately Several weeks later the house i was buying was put back on the market without even bothering to inform me It came up on my emails via Right Move I was prepared to pay the extra stamp duty but was never given that opportunity. Even my solicitor was shocked at such shocking treatment. King homes even had the cheek to offer to sell my home for me. Which I would have never accepted after such shocking service.

Always responsive and proactive in ensuring all matters were being chased and always a friendly service. I would have no hesitation in using Hannah again. Thank you

2nd Jul 2025 (1 year ago)We received fantastic service from Rice Chamberlain. Our property was listed late February 2025 and we completed by the end of June. Sarah was so approachable and helpful. She was amazing in co-ordinating and managing the chain of solicitors and ensuring the communication never broke down between the parties . We really appreciated her advice and judgement. We couldn't have asked for anything more from Sarah and Rice Chamberlain. We feel like we had exceptional service and value for money. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an estate agent that will work in your best interests. Would definitely use again if the need arises.

He was incredibly supportive throughout the whole process and genuinely looked after everyone involved.<br><br>Our situation was quite unique, but Tim was flexible, understanding, and did everything he could to help us get our dream home which we have just got the keys to.<br><br>I couldn't recommend him highly enough. He's knowledgeable, experienced, trustworthy, and never once made us feel pressured, which is something we've experienced with other estate agents in the past.<br><br>Tim also recommended David Bunn, who were fantastic as well. Having everyone work so well together made a huge difference.<br><br>What is usually a very stressful time was made smooth and exciting largely down to Tim!
