29th Jun 2026 (13 weeks ago)I contacted David Hill to enquire about a quotation for a survey and to understand what his service included. Throughout our correspondence, I repeatedly asked a straightforward question about the cost of the survey. Rather than receiving a clear quotation, I was sent several very long emails that were difficult to follow and often did not answer my question directly.<br><br>Much of the correspondence focused on qualifications, court experience and a copy of his CV, rather than providing a direct answer to my request for a quotation.<br><br>As a prospective client, I made it clear that there was no urgency and that he could take whatever time he needed to prepare a quote. I also provided the information requested about the property. Despite this, the conversation became increasingly confrontational.<br><br>I was particularly disappointed by comments such as telling me to "educate yourself", suggesting that I was wasting his time, and eventually asking me never to contact him again. I found this surprising and unprofessional, especially as I was simply carrying out due diligence before committing to a significant purchase.<br><br>I cannot comment on the quality of his surveying work because I did not instruct him. However, based on my experience, I found the communication to be dismissive, unnecessarily confrontational, and lacking the professionalism I would expect when making an initial enquiry.

17th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)I had a really positive experience with Alan Slater Property Services managing my property and tenancy. They were professional, reliable and always easy to deal with, keeping me informed and handling any issues that came up with the tenant efficiently. It made renting out my property much more straightforward and took a lot of the stress out of managing it myself. I’d happily recommend them to other landlords looking for a dependable letting agent.

However, if you have an understanding and diligent agent you will find the stress of selling will ease a considerable amount. I am grateful to GetAgent for putting me in touch with Yourmove in Keighley. Yourmove provided an exceptional service, I was kept informed of updates and a buyer was secured in good time. All the staff at Yourmove in Keighley were very helpful and very understanding. I would highly recommend GetAgent and Yourmove in Keighley! Thank you again Yourmove, great service and advice!

I have also been informed they have difficulty retaining staff!!!!! Previously had first class service.

Regular updates & great communication from all the team from start to finish. My only regret was not putting our house with them right at the beginning of our journey & if we were to move again in the future Leightons would be my first choice.
6th Sep 2026 (21 days ago)Avoid this company they made buying our first home an awful experience. I’d especially advise you to avoid Susie Ralston and Paul Howell. Told me the role as an estate agent is to list and sell a property and any chasing of a chain is simply a good will gesture and falls outside of the estate agent’s ethics.<br>They had the audacity to advise thier contact log showed 32 contact points since April. Yes 32 times I had to chase and ask for updates to which I was met with nothing meaningful and to contact my solicitor. They also had the cheek to say I knew the vendors daughter in law so I had updates from them - shouldn’t have to justify I know sometime from a school run not personally as a friend.<br>Ignored my complaint request for compensation.<br>Property onbudsman is my next step.
7th Sep 2024 (2 years ago)Our first contact with Linley & Simpson to let a property was with Hollie Landi. She was totally on our case from day 1 & kept us informed of each and every development! Lucy carried out the property inspection…excellent! Hollie did all the viewings and kept us informed regularly of any interest in renting! Some references took a while to come through, but hey that’s the way it goes, not the fault of Hollie or Linley & Simpson!

Over three weeks have now passed and no contact. Since found out property sold to a higher offer. The basics are you communicate with buyers and do not just leave them hanging for weeks !!!!

17th Sep 2026 (10 days ago)I couldn’t recommend Sarah and the lettings team at Bridgfords highly enough.<br><br>Sarah has genuinely gone above and beyond from start to finish and made the whole process incredibly easy and stress-free. As I work regular hours, she was extremely accommodating and even contacted me outside of normal working hours to work around my availability.<br><br>What has really stood out is that the service hasn’t stopped once the tenant moved in. Sarah has continued to keep in touch and check that everything is going well, which has been really reassuring.<br><br>We opted for the Let Only package, yet when I needed some additional help, Sarah even went out of her way to contact a contractor on my behalf despite this being outside the scope of the service we had chosen. She absolutely didn’t have to do that, but was still more than happy to help.<br><br>Sarah has been professional, responsive, approachable and genuinely committed to making the whole experience as smooth as possible. It’s rare to receive this level of service, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sarah and the Bridgfords lettings team to other landlords.
