4th Apr 2026 (24 weeks ago)Lots of promises and good advice at initial face to face meeting. They got me to drop the price quite early on. Two viewings in 7 months. I was supposed to have a phone call with them last week and had an appointment time booked. No phone call but a generic email. At the start they suggested I have new stair carpet and flooring in some rooms . I had new bathroom, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, landing and stair carpet put down. They took the house of the market without telling me. The sign was taken from the front of my house. I checked online and they had pulled the house of the market. Almost quite childish? I think it was a poor set of photos and description having reviewed my experience. They stated partially double glazed when I had every window replaced to double glazed. Just odd things that they didn't mention. I am not sure if they know the area and market that well as it is a good location. The house market is always difficult through the winter months but putting that aside , the company just don't communicate at all. I started to look at other options for selling as you just don't hear from them. I think the last promised phone call was my clear signal that as something needed to change. Their poor practice made the decision for me. I will express that the guy that saw me on the first visit to discuss selling was very good. Talks a good talk.

A great service all around .

1st Sep 2025 (1 year ago)From the initial valuation visit with Charlotte through to the handling of viewing appointments at the sales office , everything was extremely efficient. The online portal is really useful and always up to date. Charlotte was very personable and took some great photos of the house .All the staff we dealt with at the office were very helpful , Jade kept us informed at all times and dealt with our offer situation really well. I would definitely recommend.
13th Oct 2025 (11 mo. ago)I’ve used Redbrick as a letting agent for the past 4-5 years and they are far superior to any other agent I’ve used previously. Compliance is spot on, deposits are secured on time and documentation issued. Patrick will also offer a one to one with landlords and assess current problems with tenants / letting agents and look at the best possible solution.

22nd Jul 2026 (8 weeks ago)I could not recommend Conor and the team more if I tried. My Mum suffers with anxiety and also suffered the loss of my Dad whilst selling, through the whole sales process they supported her, were understanding and explained everything thoroughly. Once the sale went through, they still followed up with her, customer care was 5* and I have nothing but positive things to say and would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Catherine is super friendly and communication is great. Charlotte is 100% proactive and always on the end of the phone regardless of the time of day. Richard who came to do the valuation was on time, very personable, had a good knowledge of the area, and valued the property correctly. I have been kept fully up to date by email, message and phone calls at every stage from day one. I would highly recommend this estate agent. Excellent from start to finish.
25th Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)Paul has been absolutely amazing with helping us rent a property last Thursday, all photos were sent over and acknowledged for the itinerary of the property, we were given ample time to read and sign all paperwork, any questions we had were answered promptly, I would strongly advise to read all reviews as our experience has been first class. My situation with selling my house and buying the one from yourselfs was complex at times but with her understanding and support it went super smoothly Sharon is a a great ambassador for Hughes and Son's and I will be recommending her and your estate agents to any family or friends wanting to sell or rent a property. 31st Aug 2026 (18 days ago)Would appear the house was over valued by the estate agent so setting wrong expectations about what price could be achieved. Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.
6th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)We sold our house to the owners parents and now working for Martin and Co Solihull. After 7 months, in which we had spent large amount on a survey of a house we wanted to buy, legal fees and searches, his parents arranged a private sale on a bungalow at a point we were due to complete. Utterly disgraceful and underhand. No contact from Carl Heming and absolutely no apology for the mess he has left us in. What disgraceful practice. Formal complaint being made to investigate ‘conflict of interest’ and now talking to our solicitors about formal legal action. Hemming now working for Martin and Co Solihull who have also provided wesk customer service. We do NOT recommend Carl Hemming in any way.

So we had him back to sell our family home,which we’ll be moving out of in 3 weeks time. This sold in 6 days. I’ve no doubt this is down to his knowledge and hard work,but also being on hand to answer Any questions ,and guiding us through the whole process was invaluable! Would certainly recommend.
