Scott was professional, knowledgeable, and kept us informed throughout the entire process. He took the time to address all of our concerns and made everything feel straightforward and stress-free. We really appreciated his clear communication and attention to detail. Would definitely recommend his services to anyone needing a party wall surveyor.

1st Sep 2025 (1 year ago)From the initial valuation visit with Charlotte through to the handling of viewing appointments at the sales office , everything was extremely efficient. The online portal is really useful and always up to date. Charlotte was very personable and took some great photos of the house .All the staff we dealt with at the office were very helpful , Jade kept us informed at all times and dealt with our offer situation really well. I would definitely recommend.

Everything was handled in the most gentle, sensitive, and professional manner. We have always dealt with Teresa, who is so helpful, calm, and thorough. No question is ever too silly and believe me, we have asked plenty! We are incredibly grateful to have such a hands-on team who deal with everything to such a high standard. Thank you for all your hard work and for helping us through some of the highs and lows of life. ?????? Julia&Matt

10th Jul 2026 (10 weeks ago)Sale of our house and purchase of new house.<br><br>Good value for the services provided.<br>Stephen and his team are super friendly and very much able to call them with any issues. Picked up phone even 5 to 5pm. We were happy with sale (took 5 days on the market to have full asking price offer for our house). When council delayed entire transaction we were supported every step. No questions were silly, as we never sold a house before. Price for that kind of services is really good value for the money. Super happy with our new house that we also bought from them.

Paul Petticrew took the time to, publish professional photos and videos of our house and handled all viewings and provided regular feedback. Superb!!

Richard who came to do the valuation was on time, very personable, had a good knowledge of the area, and valued the property correctly. I have been kept fully up to date by email, message and phone calls at every stage from day one. I would highly recommend this estate agent. Excellent from start to finish.

My situation with selling my house and buying the one from yourselfs was complex at times but with her understanding and support it went super smoothly Sharon is a a great ambassador for Hughes and Son's and I will be recommending her and your estate agents to any family or friends wanting to sell or rent a property. 6th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)We sold our house to the owners parents and now working for Martin and Co Solihull. After 7 months, in which we had spent large amount on a survey of a house we wanted to buy, legal fees and searches, his parents arranged a private sale on a bungalow at a point we were due to complete. Utterly disgraceful and underhand. No contact from Carl Heming and absolutely no apology for the mess he has left us in. What disgraceful practice. Formal complaint being made to investigate ‘conflict of interest’ and now talking to our solicitors about formal legal action. Hemming now working for Martin and Co Solihull who have also provided wesk customer service. We do NOT recommend Carl Hemming in any way.
