We were unlucky with the initial value of the property and accept this happens, and have sold it with them, guiding us through the process.

1st Sep 2025 (11 mo. ago)From the initial valuation visit with Charlotte through to the handling of viewing appointments at the sales office , everything was extremely efficient. The online portal is really useful and always up to date. Charlotte was very personable and took some great photos of the house .All the staff we dealt with at the office were very helpful , Jade kept us informed at all times and dealt with our offer situation really well. I would definitely recommend.

1st Mar 2025 (1 year ago)Carter & King have been very professional and helpful to us throughout the process. Their team all seems to know what is going on and can help with any enquiry, but they didn’t tell us when to expect to hear from them and kept us waiting a few days, so we were chasing for updates. They did then start contacting us sooner after viewings. Overall, fairly pleased. Their brand and professionalism is good, would be even better if they were clearer about communicating.
29th Apr 2024 (2 years ago)The agents we spoke to were very friendly, approachable and professional. They supported us to help us get the price we wanted for our property. Marketing was really good: the house was on their social media platforms and on Rightmove. I couldn’t recommend them more!
19th Apr 2026 (15 weeks ago)After my late mother's property in Harbury had been on the market with a large national estate agent chain with no success of sale, I was very grateful for Pina at Kleinmann Properties to market it for us. She is very knowledgeable of Harbury and the local area and managed to sell it within the first week! She also managed the whole process exceptionally which included liaising with us, the solicitors and buyers at every stage and keeping everyone informed. An excellent, professional, caring service and would highly recommend, thank you Pina :-)

The team was professional, friendly, and kept us informed throughout the entire process. Communication was excellent, and they were always available to answer questions and provide updates. Their knowledge of the local market helped us achieve a successful sale, and they made what can often be a stressful process feel much smoother and more manageable. We would happily recommend Shortland Horne - Walsgrave to anyone looking to sell their property. Thank you to the whole team for your support and excellent service.

20th Jul 2026 (15 days ago)I feel the marketing of my property was very poor. It was placed online and forgot about, no other marketing explored or attempts to get buyers in through the door. The only contact I had from my agent was to push for the price to be lowered. I decided to list with a dual agent and the property was sold in a few weeks.

22nd Jul 2026 (13 days ago)Carl Hemming – ‘Former Principal of Ginger Estate Agents’ ‘Your Local Property Agent Consultant at Martin & Co Solihull’<br><br>Our experience with Carl Hemming has been extremely disappointing and has resulted in significant financial loss, stress and emotional turmoil for our family.<br><br>We accepted an offer from Carl Hemming’s parents in November after being told the sale was “cast iron” and, based on that reassurance, we were encouraged to cancel further viewings. Unfortunately, seven months later the sale had still not progressed to exchange.<br><br>During this period we received regular assurances that matters were progressing and that exchange was imminent. Acting on those updates, we incurred substantial costs for surveys, legal fees and searches on the property we intended to purchase. In the end, the transaction failed, leaving us in a very difficult position.<br><br>It is our opinion that a genuinely independent estate agent would not have recommended accepting this offer in the circumstances, and certainly would have advised us to consider remarketing the property much earlier once it became clear that progress had stalled. We were left feeling that we had no independent guidance or realistic assessment of the situation.<br><br>We are also concerned about what we believe to be a potential conflict of interest arising from the relationship between the buyer and the estate agent, and we have submitted a formal complaint asking for this to be investigated. We are also seeking independent legal advice regarding the matter.<br><br>Perhaps most disappointing of all was the complete lack of any meaningful communication or apology after the sale collapsed. In our experience, both Carl Hemming and Martin & Co Solihull failed to provide the level of professionalism, transparency and customer care that we expected.<br><br>Based on our experience, we would strongly recommend not using Carl Hemming at all.
