21st Jul 2026 (14 days ago)Sheldon Bosley Knight have provided us with the best service, from letting out our commercial unit, managing our tenants, selling our commercial property and recently selling our residential property in a difficult market. I give them 5 stars, and would give more if I could. In summary they go above and beyond, are professional, highly responsive, and deeply knowledgeable. Cannot recommend them enough.

Karen jo and the 2 ladies could not have been more helpful friendly and professional. If you are a landlord or tenant I highly recommend you use 1st lettings for absolute peace of mind.

My Mum suffers with anxiety and also suffered the loss of my Dad whilst selling, through the whole sales process they supported her, were understanding and explained everything thoroughly. Once the sale went through, they still followed up with her, customer care was 5* and I have nothing but positive things to say and would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Even had home deliveries on some occasions! Thank you both Henry and Paul for all your help over the past 3 years, much appreciated and will definitely come back to you should the need arise.

Paul Petticrew took the time to, publish professional photos and videos of our house and handled all viewings and provided regular feedback. Superb!!

The communication was fantastic and Donna could not have done more to push progress and keep us in the loop. I only wish we had used them to sell our property also. Would highly recommend and would use them again when needed.

27th Jul 2026 (8 days ago)Terrible to deal with. Poor communication and very questionable practices of gazumping, asking for unofficial deposits & contract races - totally unethical. I found them to be very obnoxious and demeaning to the point where I just gave up trying to purchase through them. Nobody wants to do business under these circumstances and I really feel for the inexperienced graduates that they employ as it's a poor example of professionalism to pass on to the next generation.

3rd Jun 2026 (9 weeks ago)They are not reliable. you do not get a timely response, you have to call many times without any result. If you send an email on Friday, by Monday they do not know. Look for another agency, you cannot trust them.
7th May 2026 (13 weeks ago)From start to finish, everything was handled exceptionally well and Margetts are definitely the right estate agents to use if you want a personalised and stress-free experience. The team are all friendly yet professional. Oliver has exceptional local knowledge of the area and is honest and realistic about pricing properties to sell. Ray was fantastic in keeping us up to date, he excels in communicating effectively and regularly. Margetts are a good example of the importance of using a local estate agent, it really makes a huge difference to the overall process. We have previously used Margetts as our letting agent and again they excelled in keeping us informed and streamlining any issues in a solution focused manner.

She was knowledgeable in showing us around the property we eventually bought and kept in touch during the lengthy conveyancing process. And on the day we moved in, she went the extra mile to ensure our removals men and ourselves didn't wilt on the hottest day of the year. A joy to know and work with.

28th Jul 2026 (7 days ago)A Professional but friendly service. From the first meeting to completion I had complete trust in them acting on my behalf. I was so impressed with the intial meeting I didnt have any other Agents round. The photographs of my home were amazing, so much so I had 14 viewings in four days and 8 offers. I sold within a week of going on market. Unfortunately my sale fell through the day I was going to sign contracts due to my buyers change in personal circumstances. Naturally I was very disappointed and so was Karen. After talking to Karen I decided not to put my house back on market immediately. There was absolutely no pressure for me to do so. After several weeks I decided to remarket this time taking up the offer for them to handle the viewings. Again I sold within a week to the first person to view. Happy to confirm my sale has now completed. Throughout Karen made regular contact with me with updates on how the sale was proceeding. A great addition to Estate Agents in Aldridge, others should be very worried. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Downing Booth to anyone, and I did to a friend who has also sold and moved on. A well deserved five stars.
