Very pleasant people to deal with.- 16th Feb 2026 (16 days ago)I recently completed the purchase of a property for my mother, and the service from this estate agent was excellent from start to finish.<br><br>Liz Brown, the Sales Negotiator, was great. She arranged the viewing, handled the negotiations, and helped us secure the dream home my mother wanted. She was friendly, helpful, and made everything easy.<br><br>Vicky Hughes, the Sales Progressor, was fabulous. She kept in regular contact and was especially helpful when our solicitor wasn’t very responsive. Her support really helped keep things moving.<br><br>Highly recommend them if you want a smooth and stress-free purchase.

They were always on the ball and kept us updated at every stage. Interestingly, we found ourselves getting more information from them—the seller's agent—than from the agency we actually paid to sell our own home. Their communication was far superior. I would highly recommend John German to anyone looking for a reliable, proactive and trustworthy estate agent.
7th May 2025 (9 mo. ago)They’ve moved to a dingy cottage on Upper St John Street, and told no-one, not even their head office knows where they’ve gone, and gave me the Bore Street address when I phoned to ask where they’ve gone. Gives the distinct impression that they’re cutting costs and on the verge of going under.

As first-time buyers, we never expected the process to move so quickly or feel so smooth, but Richard made it happen. From start to finish, he was incredibly helpful, supportive and always on hand to answer our questions. He explained everything clearly, kept us informed every step of the way and made what could have been a stressful experience feel easy and exciting. Buying our first home together has been such an amazing experience, and that’s largely thanks to Richard’s guidance and expertise. A huge relief and a huge thank you too to Heather and her colleagues at Bagshaws Estate Agents. I am not from the area but have bought and sold many properties over the years with varying success. Bagshaws I can confidently say are one of the best estate agencies I have dealt with. Extremely professional, helpful and nothing too much trouble. I would certainly recommend to anyone in this area of Staffordshire. Thank you again.

5th Feb 2026 (27 days ago)Abode have been excellent from start to finish. So helpful. There were no ‘extra’ charges for services e.g. 360 room tour; as we have experienced with an other estate agent. Their eagerness to sell our property, attitude and communication were top notch - and a special mention to Bethany. Extremely happy with the service we’ve received.

From the initial valuation right through to finding and vetting tenants, Ben and Jayne were professional, responsive, and helpful every step of the way. They marketed the property effectively, arranged viewings promptly, and handled all the referencing and paperwork efficiently, making the whole process seamless and straightforward for me as a landlord. Although I only required a tenant find service only, Ben and Jayne have been on hand to support afterwards which has been so reassuring. I highly recommend Newton Fallowell for tenant finding, which was seamless and stress-free!

During all this time Lorna has always been extremely helpful and knowledgable guiding me in the right direction. When I sold my rental property it came with many problems which Lorna overcame with hard work and good advice. Her communication was always first class. I would highly recommend as her work ethic is second to none

Initially told me all the windows and door keys were available but when it was time to hand over the keys he said they are lost. Overall not a good experience
