His local knowledge and rapport with potential buyers had a positive impact on finding a serious buyer and the whole team have been most helpful chasing and updating me on the progress of the transaction.
8th Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)The valuation of my property was too high - I queried it, but the manager assured me it was achievable. It wasn't - I had just two viewings. I dropped the price by £10k in the end, but by then it had been on the market too long and was looking stale. Bradleys also has a deal with Homewise, a scheme for the over-60s that offers a reduced price in return for an equity stake. I specifically stated in the contract that I did not wish to be included in the Homewise scheme. Despite this, my property appeared on Rightmove with the Homewise listing at £65k less than the full-price listing. It looked very confusing and made the higher figure look overpriced. It took three calls/emails to get the Homewise listing removed. Feedback was generally poor and there were no suggestions about to how to improve marketing. One sales assistant did her best, but Bradleys seem to run the office on a shoestring.

Buying a new property while selling your existing home can be a stressful and a challenging experience, but having the right team on your side makes all the difference. From the very beginning, Abi, Sally, and Barry were professional, proactive, and always available to provide updates, reassurance, and support. Unfortunately, our own selling estate agent in Ferring was not as effective when it came to communication and chasing matters when needed. In contrast, dealing with Miller Town & Country was a breath of fresh air. They always kept us informed, exceeded expectations, and made us feel supported and confident throughout the process. We cannot thank Abi, Sally, Barry & their team enough for their hard work, dedication, and outstanding customer service. We would highly recommend Miller Town & Country to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

2nd Jun 2026 (12 days ago)Want a honest, reliable, friendly estate agent, then Elliot from Bond Oxborough Phillips, Okehampton is your man. Elliot helped hugely by checking out a contract we had with another estate agent and showed us their faults & flaws, before we changed to BOP. Before we even had photographs of our property, Elliot had a viewer lined up, who put in an offer straight away. Excellent service. Elle has been great, being our liaison between the solicitors & chasing everything up, which meant it was less stressful to us. She even went out her way on her day off to check in with us on completion day. Very pleased with the outcome from Bond Oxborough and would recommend this Okehampton branch. Thank you all.

30th May 2026 (15 days ago)The staff at Webber's Estate Agents at the Torrington branch were outstanding. Truly dedicated professionals. I had committed and friendly support all the way from start to finish. Three fantasic individuals in particular who I mainly dealt with, deserve a special mention, who not only in their own right are worth their weight in gold, but together their qualities and brilliance made the team really shine; Adrian Hardwick for offering his valuable professional advice and guidance, Mark Way for his super friendly professional and kind help with the viewings along with the lovely Sarah Megson who also progressed my sale with the upmost dedication and diligence. They listened to what I wanted and delivered every time. Not forgetting a big thank you to the others in the office. They really are a credit to this branch. Their support made me feel like I was their only customer on account of the attention they gave me and how focused they were on getting my property sold. I cannot speak highly enough of them and certainly recommend this branch. Thank you "Team Torrington" you are the best! ??????????????????

16th Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)Have recently sold and purchased through stags in Bideford I wanted to share how amazing team have been from start to finish on both the sale and the purchase. From a sale perspective the whole team were great, from discussions on marketing, feedback from viewings and online performance through to the negotiations on offers and support through enquiries through to completion (often going above and beyond to keep communication lines open across the chain and everything on track) From a purchase perspective we had the same great service and acted in our interests as buyers at all times. We were cautious on using the same agent for our sale as the one used by the vendors of our purchase due to potential conflicts of interest etc but that was unfounded. Transparent and pragmatic across the whole process and a breath of fresh air to find an estate agency that breaks from the stereotypes. Although we are hopefully now in our forever home I wouldn’t question using the team again if things change.

From step 1 we were very pleased with the service we received - Becky was super helpful on our first ever viewing, guiding and reassuring us. She had taken the time to write down lots of information for us so she could answer any of our questions - this is something that we didn’t have with most other estate agents! After we had chosen our property, Sharon and Hannah kept us informed the whole way, checking in with us regularly. David and the team were extremely professional and knowledgeable, providing a top quality service throughout the purchasing process. David and the team were a real pleasure to work with, making the process stress free and assisting in anyway they could. They were instrumental in helping us move from offer accepted to completing in just 7 weeks. The property was a fantastic example of a home in a stunning location. We'll certainly be using DJR estate agents again in the future.

6th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Found what thought was our perfect forever home, two visits, put in offer verbally with agent at 2nd visit, to be followed up after bank holiday. Did some online research in the interim. Discovered property had been advertised 4 yrs ago, and been on / off the market since. When questioned, agents originally said that was just the way these things sometime happen. I asked for more specific detail, it then emerged that there was a septic tank issue, but no clarity over what, also a boundary dispute had arisen. I only found these things out after really pushing hard for reasons why the property had not sold in 4 years. These issues would have come up in the process, (one would hope) but only after I had spent money on survey / conveyancing. These issues should have been central to any discussion. Needless to say, walked away from the deal. Subsequently had a discussion with Regional Director, who recognised this episode as a learning opportunity for his team going forward.
17th May 2026 (28 days ago)We bought an investment property through Martin at Tamar Estate we found him to be very professional and helpful throughout the process. Communications were always quick and he definitely helped with chasing up the often tediously slow solicitor the owner had instructed. His after sale service has also been brilliant helping me find services and tradesmen I needed as I live in Spain this has been great.
