6th Apr 2024 (12 days ago)Our experience with Mov8 was easy they kept us informed with viewing and communication was prompt. The only thing was their offices are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are in Carnoustie which was a little inconvenient if we needed to go to their office to sign things

Hannah Bonnar has been my main contact and I was impressed that other members of staff could deal with my calls when Hannah wasn’t available. Most of all, I am pleased with the speed at which Countrywide found a suitable tenant and how Hannah processed everything in a quick and efficient manner. Delightful team of staff led by Fiona. They kept me informed at every stage of the sales process, their communication was great. They made a daunting process feel really straightforward. I'm very grateful for all of their help.
16th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Highly recommend this estate agent. From start to finish the service we received buying our flat was flawless. Almost all of our dealings were with Kieran who deserves a huge amount of credit for a very young man he behaved in a highly personable and professional manner at all times - very knowledgable too despite only a few months on the job - he was eager to assist and answer any questions we had with the confidence of someone who had been doing the job all his adult life! An absolute natural! Would definitely use this firm again.

Charlie who dealt with us from the start was great and kept us up to date with any information that needed to be passed on. Obviously they are a bit more expensive than other agents, however you get what you pay for. Thanks again

5th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)Was so disappointed with the carry out as 1st time and got prices on line which apparently have not been updated ordered veg pakora chicken pakora and poppadoms and spiced onions £18.96 when I queried this she said it was 2 poppadoms and spiced onions it's not the best experience as the prices are very much more expensive 6.99 chicken pakora and 5.99 for veg pakora 2.99 poppadoms and spiced onions. Only exotic thing about this place is the prices. UPDATE After owners reply STILL no update on prices and as previously mentioned the poppadoms and spiced onions come together what they need to mention that a portion is 2 poppadoms broken up as when I ordered 2 poppadoms and spiced onions got the equivalent of 4 poppadoms at 5.98 so this needs to be clearer on the menu also as how many poppadoms do you need for 2 people.

They managed our property sale in Swinton and consistently went over and above throughout the process. We had full professional photos, videos and drone capture, showing full property views which helped our property stand out and seemed to lead to more viewings. We hit a snag in the process when a sale fell through, however AB got our property back up for sale and it was resold the next day. Would definitely recommend for anyone in the local area.

The viewing schedule was a smooth process and after 6 days we accepted an offer on our property. Stuart’s advice was invaluable and I would have no hesitation in recommending Walker Wylie and in fact I have already done so.

They are highly professional at all times, exceptionally knowledgeable and conscientious. Nothing is a bother, no question is unanswered. A joy to work with and to entrust with the process. 13th Nov 2023 (22 weeks ago)Upon moving out, I repeatedly contacted them to release my deposit. Unfortunately, even after a month has passed, my deposit remains unreleased. Following persistent follow-ups, they informed me that they had hired a "sparkle clean" service and would be sending me an invoice for the cleaning expenses. Ironically, I had already hired a professional cleaner to ensure the property was left in impeccable condition before my departure. The house was in a cleaner state than when I first moved in. It is disheartening to note that despite my efforts and the clear state of the property, they continue to withhold my deposit. Their reluctance to return the deposit, coupled with their evasive actions, strongly suggests unethical practices. They are absolute scammers, and I strongly advise others to avoid engaging with them at any cost.
21st Mar 2024 (28 days ago)My wife was told by the property manager that she would be there at the property between 12:15 to 12:45. We reached the property at 12:27 and rang the buzzer. Since no one attended, I gave a call to their office at 12:28. The handler advised the property manager is running late and would arrive in a few minutes. So we waited in the lobby till 12:50, so we called again only to be told that the property manager left 10 minutes ago. We were waiting the lobby for someone to come and would have buzzed in repeatedly if we weren’t told the property manager was running late. I feel this is a case of clear misinformation. The handler then told us she assumed the property manager would be running late but she was there all along. She refused to take ownership and when I said I would like to log a complaint, she advised she would do it and send a confirmation to our email. We have not got any confirmation of a complaint yet. Both of us took time off work to attend this viewing, which is none of your concern but I believe you should respect our time. We were booked in for a viewing hence no one even bothered to contact us. And when we contacted, we were given false information. We were promised a complaint would be logged and nothing was done.

10th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Stefan at Batchelor estate agents was highly recommended to us from a friend of a friend to sell my house. He was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. From our initial conversations and throughout the whole process, Stefan was very professional. As it was our first time selling he was clear and patient at explaining everything and was always available to answer any questions no matter how big or small. He was highly knowledgeable about the local market and ensured that we were treated like a priority. He went out his way to make sure every detail was taken care of, from photographing, advertising my home, organising the home report and arranging viewings. He excelled at every step. His after sale help was also to the highest standard, explaining what happened next and answering any further questions. We would definitely use Stefan in the future if ever selling again and recommend him to anyone who is selling their home. He made what could have been a stressful difficult time very enjoyable.
