Having lived in our house for 30 years, this was our very first experience selling a property. It was naturally a huge milestone and a bit emotional for us, but their steady guidance made what could have been a stressful process feel completely manageable.<br><br>The communication from start to finish was exceptional. We were impressed right from our initial meeting with Lucy Golton, who set a clear and confident direction. That high standard continued seamlessly through all our interactions with Jenna Pinkney, whose constant updates and guidance kept everything running smoothly. As a first time buyer with very little knowledge, Anne ensured I felt guided and supported at all times, making sure I fully understood my options, what everything meant and doing everything in her power to get me the best mortgage deal and rates. She has also communicated with my solicitors and estate agents on my behalf taking away a massive burden. Most importantly, she’s always been at the other end of the phone when I’ve needed her.<br>Super professional, extremely lovely and very efficient- the time from having my first meeting, a DIP and a mortgage offer was 10 days! Worth every penny! ??

Moving home can be incredibly stressful, but having Jo in our corner made such a difference. Her care, support and determination meant so much to us throughout the whole process.<br><br>When completion day arrived and problems arose elsewhere in the chain, Jo was an absolute diamond. She went above and beyond to help keep everything moving, and I honestly don’t think we would have got it over the line without her.<br><br>Jo, thank you for everything you did for us. We are so grateful for the part you played in getting us into our new home. You are a real credit to Bramleys, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you and the team at Elland.

Their communication was excellent they kept me fully in the loop with regular updates and took the time to clearly explain every step of the process so I always knew exactly where things stood. They were genuinely proactive, anticipating issues and keeping everything moving smoothly without me having to chase.<br>What impressed me just as much is how well they look after my rental portfolio. As a landlord, I really value the care they show both me and my tenants. They handle everything professionally and thoughtfully, which gives me complete peace of mind.<br>If you’re selling a property in Halifax or need a reliable team to manage your rentals, Redwoods are the ones to go to. She is absolutely brilliant at her job, and the care, effort and dedication she put into helping us made such a difference. Buying a home can be incredibly stressful, but having Sam supporting us made everything feel so much easier.<br>I can 100% see why Charnock Bates get a lot of the higher priced & luxurious houses, as they know exactly how to sell them and see it through from start to finish. They’re another level to other estate agents u have dealt with. There is no comparison.<br><br>We are now settling into our beautiful new home and are so grateful to everyone who helped us get here. 22nd Oct 2026 (11 days ago)We bought our house through Dawson's and Matt was incredible, l we had a very slow and lax solicitor and Matt was incredibly proactive and chased him regularly, keeping us updated at every chance and ensuring the agreed completion date was met. What could have been a stressful experience was a really positive experience thanks to Dawson's and Matt's hard work. If I was ever to sell, I would 100% use Dawson's for the sale. Cannot recommend enough

20th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)The team did an excellent job selling my house.<br><br>Always there to answer questions or discuss things, always on the ball trying to make sure things are moving at the right pace.<br><br>What made me decide to use Prothero in the first place was Adam's straightforward, honest, way of doing business and his passion (obsession??????) for anything property related. I didn't see that in other estate agencies.<br><br>I highly recommend this estate agent, and would definitely use them again in future.<br><br>Thanks ??????

There were various bits of work which needed doing before the tenants moved in and Sian arranged and co-ordinated it all on my behalf. She carried out numerous viewings to ensure the right tenants were found and ensured the application process went quickly and smoothly, all the while keeping me fully up to date. Couldn't ask for more. A very comprehensive and thorough service. I feel reassured knowing Sian will be managing the property for me throughout the tenancy and beyond.

They gave me two price estimates - to sell with and without improvements. Once on the market, Kaylee kept in touch and answered any questions I had. The service was excellent from start to finish and I would recommend them to anyone!

From the start, Katie impressed me with her prompt reply to my initial enquiry on a Sunday. She may not have the experience of some of the others I met, but she certainly showed enthusiasm and understood the complexities of selling a holiday cottage. I was able to contact her easily and she kept me fully in the picture. A buyer was found within a month. Highly recommend.

Through absolutely no fault of Hughes, our experience of buying and selling has certainly had its fair share of ups and downs.<br><br>It all started when we found our first potential home, only to have our offer rejected. The same thing happened with the second property, but thankfully, it was third time lucky!<br><br>Throughout this process, Lewis was incredibly patient, supportive and reassuring, always reminding us that the right property would come along for us and our family. And he was right!<br><br>Fast forward to the day before completion, and what should have been an exciting time turned into our worst nightmare when our buyers pulled out. Rachel worked tirelessly to get everything back on track, going above and beyond to help save our move. I genuinely cannot thank her enough for her determination, hard work and support during what was an incredibly stressful time.<br><br>Even on completion day, the challenges weren't quite over! The property we were purchasing hadn't been fully cleared, with numerous belongings still left behind. Danielle stepped in and communicated with our buyers, explaining the situation and why we hadn't been able to completely empty our own property.<br><br>What really stood out to us was that, whenever another problem arose, there was always someone at Hughes willing to help, reassure us and find a solution.<br><br>I'd like to say a massive personal thank you to Lewis, Rachel, Danielle and the entire Hughes team.
