8th May 2021 (4 years ago)We had a home buyers survey carried out by Jowett's and I'd struggle to recommend them. The survey missed several fairly obvious issues, and when I asked for further information on how to improve the energy efficiency of the property as this was commented on in the report I was given very generic advice which was totally non-specific to the property. Rather disappointing.

In the final stages of completing she was very helpful in getting it sorted, dealing with both solicitors and clients in a long chain of six! Always professional, kind and supportive throughout the process, with many phone calls and reassuring explanations. Our thanks especially to Heidi and all the team at Simon Blyth in Lindley who we would thoroughly recommend.

It has been an emotional process with many ups and downs, and both my husband and I are truly grateful to Joeanne and Kerry for staying alongside us throughout. Their patience, understanding, and steady support meant a great deal during what was sometimes a stressful and uncertain time. Joeanne, in particular, was incredibly kind, reassuring, and encouraging when we needed it most. We deeply appreciate their professionalism, persistence, and genuine care in helping us reach this important milestone. 18th Jul 2025 (8 mo. ago)Charge customer for a expensive cleaning service, when ever the room got broken toile cover and unclean floor from the beginning.Even the wall are dirty with broken mirror on the wall. They don't even want to repair the house ?just continue checking and annoying. Respond: The kitchen floor and ceiling are always flooded with water, but they do nothing for the leaking. I need to clean the floor for many times. They should pay for my cleaning service aswell. No matter how clean when I clean up the room, they always told the tenant it's not clean enough and charge for a expensive cleaning service. They just want to get your money from the deposit. Don't trust them !

We’ve been in 3 months now and unfortunately our oven broke. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better, the issue was resolved within 5 working days. He wears his heart on his sleeve and you won’t find anyone better to deal with. Absolute top quality service
6th Jan 2026 (13 weeks ago)Very happy with the service provided. They did what they said, on time and explained what the next steps would be. No gimmicks or overpromising! They know the local area very well, the communication was well paced, realistic and relevant. The latter part of 2025 housing market conditions have proved difficult based on the economical impacts and due to the seasonality. Despite that things have progressed nicely.

18th Mar 2026 (17 days ago)Whitegates estate agents huddersfield and Your Property Zone (The Griersons) have been harassing my sister, they illegally changed her lock while she was out without calling her or sending a letter rifled through her belongings and claimed a months rent when they intended to remove her before then. The agents at Whitegates were intimidating her and mocking her for being disabled, which after the abuse from the Griersons over the years has made her ill

26th Mar 2026 (9 days ago)I’m not the kind of person to bother writing reviews, however, I feel that my experience with Home and Manor has been the best I’ve had to date and I’ve bought and sold quite a few houses over the years. From the very start of the process Kelly came out to value my property and I feel she got the valuation spot on but in addition to that she impressed me with her experience and drive. She convinced me that Home and Manor would provide a first class service. I managed to sell my property for asking price and throughout, I have been kept in the loop at every stage. From viewings to offers everything was kept stream lined with excellent communication from Alex, Amanda, Jack and Lexie. The sale progression has also been amazing with Laura Oldroyd, keeping me updated every week. Over all I think they are absolutely fantastic and would recommend to anyone.
