23rd Apr 2026 (11 days ago)The sales team especially Katy, have been great, very friendly helpful and cheery ,I was a bit disappointed in what the first agent said I could get for my house , he said £10,000 more and think he went more with what I was hoping to get , think all estate agents do need to remember that although they do this all the time buyers and sellers don't, so a bit more explanation and contact would be good, this is not just Move 8 , its most estate agents , my friends had same experience with other estate agents , all in all job done , now onto the legal team .
21st Apr 2026 (13 days ago)During the initial appointment/consultation, Jayne Smith provided an extremely comprehensive overview of the current property market in general as well as in my local area. She explained very clearly about the services offered by herself and McEwan Fraser, making everything clear and transparent. Lots of helpful advice was given as to my options and I felt confident that this was backed up by an array of knowledge and experience. I was given the opportunity to ask plenty of questions and found Jayne very friendly and approachable.

10th Apr 2026 (24 days ago)I had three different estate agents out to look at selling my mum's flat in Stirling and I was immediately impressed with Gareth from Slater Hogg and Howison in Stirling and the services that they provided. Gareth was very well informed about the local property market and very accurately predicted the timing and price that we could expect for the sale. Once Slater Hogg were appointed, I was looked after very well by Eva in the Stirling office, who kept me well informed of the progress of the sale and was always there to answer any questions and give me advice. Between Gareth and Eva, I was very well supported by the Slater Hogg Stirling team and would recommend them highly for the sale of any properties in Stirling and the surrounding area.

Their comprehensive support alleviated any concerns I might have had. The team's friendly and helpful approach, coupled with their outstanding customer service, was truly commendable. Their profound knowledge of the market and strategic application of various techniques ensured the attraction of suitable prospective buyers. 20th Jun 2025 (10 mo. ago)I have now worked with Strutt and Parker twice, first when purchasing my home last year and more recently when selling a family property. On both occasions, the team was exceptionally personable, supportive and attentive. They consistently went above and beyond, never making anything feel like too much trouble. Selling the family home was particularly emotional and throughout the process, the team demonstrated genuine kindness and understanding, which made an otherwise difficult experience much more manageable. Every member of the team played a part in the sale. It felt like working with an extension of the family as they all knew who I was and were able to assist promptly and effectively. I wholeheartedly recommend Strutt and Parker to anyone seeking an efficient, effective, supportive and compassionate estate agent in Edinburgh.
6th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)If it was possible, I'd have given Abbey Forth zero stars. Here's my experience with them: The place I rented from Abbey Forth had not been cleaned when I moved in. It was in a disgusting state with several broken fixtures. I took many photos and informed them that, because I was having to clean my new flat, I wouldn't be paying for the place to be professionally cleaned when I moved out. Throughout my year at the property, they were unprofessional and unhelpful when other problems arose: trying to charge me for boiler repairs (a boiler which was leaking on day 1), failing to resolve a drainage issue outside the kitchen door and, worst of all, falling to resolve an infestation of slugs in the kitchen - an obvious health hazard. When I moved out, they unsurprisingly tried to deduct £190 from my deposit for cleaning. I successfully disputed this charge with the deposit scheme, using the pictures and emails I'd sent them over the length of the tenancy. The deposit scheme found that, as the property was not cleaned to a good condition for the start of the tenancy, that I should only having to pay £60 In summary: Abbey Forth is the worst estate agent I've ever used. Rude staff and a general ethos of trying to squeeze money out of tenants for as little effort as possible. Only sign up with them if you are desperate and have no other options. If this is the case, then please make sure you document everything for inevitable struggle to get your deposit back

This is our second time in 3 years using their services for two very stressful house moves. Lynsey dealt with everything so efficiently and explained everything clearly. I cannot recommend this Company / Service highly enough. I would not hesitate to use them or recommend to others. Thank you again!

24th Feb 2026 (10 weeks ago)Aaron supported us with the legal conveyancing of both the sale of our flat and the purchase of our forever home. We really cannot fault the service we received from Aaron and would recommend him to anyone (indeed - we already have). He kept us well informed through the process; we never had to chase him. He also stayed late one evening to assist us with a potentially costly snag during the process, which he resolved speedily and smoothly. We would have no hesitation in working with Aaron again. He’s a brilliant solicitor. Thank you, Aaron for all your help these past few months.
9th Jan 2026 (16 weeks ago)Administration of the property leasing old school, no silly apps and speak to people which is great. However that’s where the good part comes ends. The problem is the inspector and the property manager. Poor landlord is suffering the consequence, a lot of inconsistencies in what they are saying to both parties, as is the poor tenant that relies on them To make matters worse lettings manager ignores complaints rather than properly investigating. Even after council report, no acknowledgment of issues. What can one do?

27th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)Kenny was so helpful and empathetic to the fact I was selling my mums house who died recently. He immediately made me feel confident I had chosen the right person. The house was sold in 5 days for the valuation price which was fantastic. He was able to tell me a bit about the family buying the house and it was so comforting for myself and my sister to know it was going to a family who immediately fell in love with the house and were so excited to bring their family up there as mum and dad had done with us. I would highly recommend Kenny and the company to anyone. Thank you so much
