12th May 2026 (19 weeks ago)Initially found the team to be professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful prior to signing the contract. However, the experience deteriorated quickly afterward. Communication has been extremely poor and often unresponsive, with commitments made that were not followed through. Overall, the service has felt disorganized and significantly below expectations for a letting management agent. The property continues to be shown in its current condition, which raises questions about their standards and oversight. Additionally, their knowledge of the local area appeared limited, which further reduced confidence in their ability to manage effectively. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using them for lettings.
3rd Sep 2026 (22 days ago)Terrible agency and would do everything to have your deposit not paid back to you. Charging a whopping £528 claiming there were marks and scuffs to the wall when I moved out only for an independent adjudicator to prove that only £40 would suffice to repair the said marks and scuffs. Level of extortion!!
1st Jul 2026 (12 weeks ago)We would recommend Percival's to anyone needing property management or to sell a property. Georgina and team manage 2 properties for us and we recently decided to sell one of them following the end of one of the tenancies. Georgina was extremely helpful in guiding us on how best to prepare for the sale and then actively managed all aspects of the process leading to a successful sale at the price we sought to first time buyers. While the property was empty and prior to the sale the hot water tank burst which was only apparent when the water company alerted us to unusual water consumption. Not living locally Georgina offered to drop by and investigate on our behalf to find that not only had the tank burst but the water was in danger of causing a fire with the electrics. The team drained the system and made safe before arranging for repairs to the plumbing and the electrics to be safety checked. We are hugely appreciative of all the service we receive from the Percival's team who constantly go above and beyond and would recommend them to anyone seeking a property agent in the area.

21st May 2026 (18 weeks ago)I couldn’t fault either of the agents that have helped me, Danni was amazing from the get go, at the viewing she made me feel at ease instantly, she listened to my needs and has helped me every step of the way, I couldn’t fault her and I feel it wouldn’t of gone so smoothly if it wasn’t for her, when Danni was unavailable Jess help me who in turn was amazing too, I really appreciate everything that has been done for me and my daughter, I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a property to speak to Danni, thank you guys you have been fantastic.

I'm a first time buyer so was just putting up with it at first, but everytime I look elsewhere for understanding I find out just how much this agency is not working in line with normal expectations. They provide no information then chase you as if you're a nuisance. Information from them doesn't match up with what I get from my solicitors. The entire process has been much more stressful than necessary and I'm ridiculously disappointed. I have family moving up North and with how bad this process has been I'm at a point where I would encourage them to miss out on great properties just to avoid dealing with Lovelle Hykeham

4th Sep 2026 (21 days ago)Went to view a property and met a gentleman called David absolutely lovley guy love the the property explained my situation as I was looking for rented accommodation due to marital divorce etc no other estate agents understud the fact that ive been homeless and had savings and wouldn't except me but David listened and went back to the office and explained to the lady who dealing with that property and can confirm after been homeless since the 18 may it feels good thankyou all for your help there David<br>And not forgetting<br>Becky

6th Sep 2026 (19 days ago)Avoid this company they made buying our first home an awful experience. I’d especially advise you to avoid Susie Ralston and Paul Howell. Told me the role as an estate agent is to list and sell a property and any chasing of a chain is simply a good will gesture and falls outside of the estate agent’s ethics.<br>They had the audacity to advise thier contact log showed 32 contact points since April. Yes 32 times I had to chase and ask for updates to which I was met with nothing meaningful and to contact my solicitor. They also had the cheek to say I knew the vendors daughter in law so I had updates from them - shouldn’t have to justify I know sometime from a school run not personally as a friend.<br>Ignored my complaint request for compensation.<br>Property onbudsman is my next step.
13th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)From the first time we meet Charlotte we was really impressed we felt she very friendly and had our best interest in mind she gave us the confidence to sell our property and look for a property that was more suitable for us. We are now much happier in our dream property that we would never have purchased if it was not for Charlotte giving us some confidence. Claire who we never meet but was just has friendly and kept us up to date on how sale was going and chasing solicitors etc. We are glad everything worked out in the end and would definitely recommend Charlotte and Claire to any body buying or selling Michael/Alison Whelan

1st Aug 2026 (8 weeks ago)We had heard that selling a house is a stressful experience. However we found that it isn’t, if GianFranco at Hortons is acting for you! From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.

28th Mar 2026 (5 mo. ago)I was purchasing a property through Paul Fox and throughout the entire process, including both solicitors failing to communicate and progress, Sharna at Paul Fox was the only one who was proactive, communicative, helpful, and supportive. Getting both of the solicitors to actually communicate properly was like watching two Roombas attempt to knife fight, and Sharna honestly kept me sane. If I decide to sell in the future I'll be using Paul Fox without a doubt.

We had a very tight schedule, lots of bumps in the road, but Amber and Stu kept their cool, and showed nothing but professionalism throughout. Would 100% recommend. A big thank you from us.
