25th May 2023 (2 years ago)Arrogance at the highest level! Was informed 24 hrs prior that my valuation had to be moved as a staff meeting was more important. Already booked the day off so fuming at the complete dis regard of this outfit. Completely unprofessional and extremely arrogant in my opinion!!!! Lesson learned!!!

15th Jan 2026 (11 weeks ago)Our experience with this agent was extremely disappointing and, frankly, shocking. We initially viewed the property with the vendor, and everything seemed positive. The house was listed just under £760k. At the time, our budget could stretch to around £700k (possibly slightly more). We were told this wouldn’t be enough as there was an offer of £725k on the table, although that buyer still needed to sell. On that basis, we stepped back. Several weeks later, after running the numbers again and while our own sale was uncertain, we increased our offer to £710k. After a lengthy phone conversation, the agent told us repeatedly that £725k was the figure required for a deal and that anything below this would not be considered. We were also told the vendor was thinking of withdrawing the property from the market until spring. Once our buyer had sold again, we managed to stretch to £725k and arranged a second viewing to finalise matters. During that viewing, the vendor was surprised to hear that £725k had been presented as an acceptable figure — she stated she had never told the agent she would accept this and was actually looking for much closer to £750k. When we raised this with the agent, they denied everything that had previously been said and refused to provide call recordings to clarify the situation. When pressed, the conversation became abrupt and the phone call was cut off. Had we simply been told from the start that the vendor wanted closer to £750k, we would have accepted that and made an informed decision. Instead, we were repeatedly told that £725k was the deal figure, only to later discover this was not true. This showed a serious lack of professionalism and transparency, wasted time, and caused unnecessary stress. My advice to anyone dealing with this agent is to record your own conversations. In our case, clear discussions were later denied and no call recordings were provided when requested.

They were professional, courteous and made my first house purchase memorable for all the right reasons. Can't thank them enough!

Simon pays close attention to every detail and takes the time to genuinely get to know his clients. From a buyer’s perspective, this means he only introduces properties that truly suit your needs. From a seller’s perspective, it provides great reassurance: the buyers he identifies and connects you with are serious and well-matched, helping to ensure a smooth, secure transaction. Simon’s professionalism, knowledge and personal approach make the whole process far less stressful than it might otherwise be. We cannot recommend him highly enough and very much hope to continue working with him for many years to come.

22nd Mar 2026 (12 days ago)Our Customer Journey: Over the years, we have used several estate agents to buy and sell both our rental properties and our current home. Last year, we were recommended Fowler and Powell by someone who works within the estate agency industry. Our previous experiences with high?street estate agents had all been very similar: they photographed the property, listed it on Rightmove, arranged viewings, and often sent different staff members each time—meaning we had to repeat the same information over and over again. Once a sale or purchase was agreed, we found ourselves constantly chasing for updates. Fowler and Powell were a complete game changer. The difference in service compared with other high?street agents was like night and day. Our first meeting was with Levi. He did not pressure us into signing with them. He carried out a thorough walk?through of our property and provided a realistic valuation—rather than the inflated valuations we had experienced with other agents, which later led to price reductions. Our next meeting was with Nicky, who was assigned to our property. After we signed the contract with her, she took the time to explain the full sales process clearly. She helped prepare our home for photographs and set up a WhatsApp group that included us and the Fowler and Powell team, ensuring everyone stayed informed and on the same page. Nicky handled every viewing personally, and we never had to repeat any details. She took all the pressure off us, and we are extremely grateful. Thank you, Nicky. Once our sale was agreed, we were introduced to Amelia, who acted as the link between us and our buyers. She kept us updated on every single detail and chased solicitors whenever needed. In fact, for the property we are purchasing, we’ve had to chase that estate agent ourselves—highlighting just how exceptional Amelia has been. Thank you, Amelia, for your dedication and proactive communication. We highly recommend Fowler and Powell and will only use them going forward.

She handled everything, even down to perfecting photos to showcase the properties at their best. Her advice and guidance throughout were invaluable. 25th Mar 2026 (9 days ago)This is the third time we have used Ornella to sell a property and she never ever fails to deliver! The great thing about Ornella's service is you get a very personal service. It's not like dealing with a big organisation where you feel you are just one more contributor to their bottom line, Ornella commits wholly to your sale and is very proactive in her work. Her communication is excellent, always keeping you up to date and she is constantly on the ball over every issue. In our case, what became a protracted sale was only really delivered due to Ornella's persistence at chasing down the chain where the delays were happening. I genuinely believe we would not have got it over the line without her tigerish perseverance. Have no doubt, if you use Ornellla, and I would strongly urge you to do so, you will get a first rate, value for money service. I cannot recommend her highly enough in truth.
