15th Feb 2022 (4 years ago)Booked a viewing on the Friday for, Saturday the next day. I rang the office 4 times with no response and nobody turned up for the viewing, so I travelled and paid for parking for no reason.

Sam and Leanne have been absolutely brilliant, always friendly, professional and willing to go that extra mile. The whole team work so well together and genuinely care about their clients.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Northwood to anyone looking to sell their home. Thank you all again, and no doubt we’ll see you next time!

From our experience we would never use any other estate agent (in the extremely unlikely event of us ever selling our current home).

Absolutely brilliant service from Andrew Craig Estate Agents Jarrow Branch start to finish. The whole process was handled smoothly and professionally, which made everything far less stressful than expected.
Special mention to Beth, who was fantastic throughout — always helpful, responsive, and happy to answer any questions along the way. Her support really made a difference.
Highly recommend Andrew Craig to anyone buying or selling. Great team and great experience!

20th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)Terrible experience trying to buy a property through Hive Estates. We were set on buying a Sandyford flat and ready to offer significantly above asking price, but there was a serious rising damp problem in the hallway, which they initially tried to hide when we viewed the property. It had been superficially patched so we asked for details on the diagnosis of the problem and any work that had been done. The estate agent who showed us round had zero information on the property, for the issue or more broadly. The wider team refused to share any further information, saying the owner of the flat had "no idea" what the issue was diagnosed as and what the work, and that there was no documentation because a "property manager had fixed the issue" not the owner.
They also lied initially. They said that the issue had only been fixed three weeks ago, hence the smell of damp throughout the property, but when we spoke to someone on the phone they said it was fixed 10 months prior.
We actually made clear that the damp wasn't a dealbreaker, and that we just needed to go round with a surveyor or even just a damp metre - they blocked us and wouldn't allow it.
Everyone we dealt with seemed fresh out of school and were winging it. I struggled to get in contact even when putting an offer in and had to ring multiple times a day.

I can confirm they were professional in every sense. Together with a sense of duty to their clients. I can recommend this estate agent without any hesitation. He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We’d had a previously good experience with Conway & Christie with a house that sold the day it went to market. This was a more difficult and complicated sale. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better estate agent than EweMove. Paul and Johnathan were absolutely amazing from start to finish, and we wouldn’t want to sell a home with anyone else. Their professionalism, care and support made the whole experience so much easier, and we always felt we were in safe hands.
What really stood out was knowing that our buyers would be treated just as well as we were. Paul and Johnathan genuinely care about everyone involved in the process, not just the sale itself, and that really sets them apart.

My experience with John Buck Estate Agents has been excellent from the very beginning.
The property was beautifully presented in the listing, with excellent photographs that immediately caught my attention.
From the initial viewing right through to completion and the handover of the keys, Victoria was consistently approachable, friendly, professional and genuinely engaged in the process.
Communication was excellent throughout. Victoria kept in touch, provided updates, answered questions and was always willing to help, particularly during the final stages of the purchase.
What really stood out was that the service didn’t end after the offer was accepted. Victoria remained actively involved every step of the way, making sure things continued moving forward.
