18th May 2023 (3 years ago)Huge thank you to Jeanette snd Mary who helped with the purchase of our new home. It was quite stressful for us at times and we had a few (a lot!) bumps in the road. We were very dependent on the team especially towards the end of the buying process for many reasons. I truly believe without their help on an almost daily basis we would still be waiting for the sale to have been finalised. We are now 4 weeks in our new home and are so happy. The stress long forgotten. The team are Very professional, very “on it” and also want to do the best for the buyer. Thank you all.
26th Oct 2026 (6 days ago)Very Disappointing Experience – Poor Service and Lack of Reliability<br><br>I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Sarah Mains. We started the rental process for a property, submitted all the required documents, and successfully passed the referencing and credit checks conducted through Rightmove.<br><br>However, just two days before our planned moving date, an agent named Laura informed us that the landlord had decided not to proceed with the tenancy. By that point, we had already made significant arrangements for the move, paid advance costs, and even secured school admissions for our children near the property.<br><br>This sudden decision caused our family considerable stress, inconvenience, and financial loss. We had organised everything in good faith, trusting that the process was progressing as expected.<br><br>To make matters worse, we were informed that the holding deposit could not be refunded, leaving us in an extremely difficult situation despite having done everything required of us.<br><br>A family relocation is not a small matter, especially when children and school admissions are involved. I believe a letting agency should communicate responsibly, handle the process professionally, and treat prospective tenants fairly.<br><br>I would not recommend Sarah Mains to anyone based on my experience. The lack of reliability and the way this situation was handled have completely undermined my trust in the agency.<br><br>I sincerely hope they improve their service and treat future tenants with greater consideration and transparency.
20th Oct 2026 (12 days ago)The staff at NGU homes have been incredible with our move into our home, the whole process was smooth and very quick, specifically Shakil was so prompt and helpful with his responses and was just generally kind and very patient with us. Amy who we met at the house to get the keys was also lovely and super helpful!. I couldn’t fault these guys they have been amazing from start to finish, I would absolutely reccomend them. Thanks again guys!

28th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)They listed my4 bed detached dormer bungalow as a 4 bed detached HOME!!! SO I didn’t get any viewings for 10 week as google does not recognise home on any search engine it Could be found under properties but buyers only looking for bungalows could not find us!! I found out by distant friend trying to find bungalows online. They relaunched but missed summer buyers. Tied into 20week contract and cost me £354 to cancel -nightmare scenario for me.

She was very helpful in addressing queries, and maintained transparent and fast communication across all the level. She was a very good link between myself, seller and the conveyancer.

It wasn't a straightforward sale but they were always there quickly with very professional advice and good online systems. Charlotte in particular was very on top of local data and experience for her valuation (and everything else).

16th Dec 2025 (10 mo. ago)brilliant expletive from start to finish with Instict. Michael kept in touch every step of the way he arranged all the viewings and there was nothing for us to stress about. Michael has very good knowlege and was able to also refer us on to other processionals within the industry. Praise would definitely use again
