Put the for sale board up on the wrong house. We were disappointed with the whole experience Horts are by all accounts a good agent so I’m told. Maybe we were unlucky

Over nearly two decades, the team has consistently provided professional, reliable, and responsive service. Special thanks to Louise, who has always ensured everything ran smoothly and efficiently.<br><br>More recently, Brian and Piotra supported the sale of my property and successfully secured a buyer within a very short period of time. Their market knowledge, communication, and dedication made the entire process straightforward and stress-free.<br><br>As someone living abroad, having a trustworthy agent is absolutely essential. Jackson Grundy has earned my trust through years of dependable service, and I would highly recommend them to any overseas property owner looking for a reliable and professional estate agent.
26th May 2026 (18 weeks ago)If the care that they take with their business is anything like the care they take when driving in their cars, absolutely wouldn't recommend. This evening I had a Jenkins Estate Agents car try to perform a dangerous undertake as two lanes merged and squeeze in in front of me, behind the car I had already given way to. The driver then aggressively used their horn and proceeded to tailgate me. At the next junction the driver used the right hand lane (indicated for right turns only) to illegally go straight ahead in an attempt to cut in front of me. I wouldn't use a company whose representatives are aggressive, inconsiderate and dangerous. I can only imagine this is indicative of the service you can expect from this company.
24th Sep 2026 (4 days ago)The agent proved to be very knowledgeable about the area,from a selling perspective, and provided regular status updates throughout the process. He was the sole point of contact and always available acting very promptly at every stage. A real pleasure to deal with!
11th Feb 2022 (4 years ago)I'm not one for reviews but I have to share my experience. After renting my property out through Northwoods (a lot of years), it was time to buy a new property. They had been fantastic at managing the property over the years, with constant communication and regular updates. the property was never left empty for long, just long enough to allow maintenance to be done (By their approved contractors) before new tenants moved in. So based on their professionalism I choose them to handle the purchase. It just seemed effortless, again communication was spot on, I never once had to call to push along, Sara and Sam seemed to be one step ahead and kept me well informed explaining any issues that might arise, when there was a problem they sorted it all out with a common sense approach. When the other party seemed to be dragging their heels (solicitors) on completion, there they were again helping the transaction through to the end. I can not recommend these guys enough, for making everything hassle free, with no stress at all.

7th Jul 2026 (12 weeks ago)They used old photos which kept automatically changed hardly ever had shots of the house front even though these were old a drive by would question if this is same property in my opinion also late for viewing leaving client to wait outside I should have checked on the office location and not assumed this was corby who may have had more local knowledge no proofs were sent prior to marketing

31st Dec 2021 (4 years ago)Marie’s remarkable work ethic We were with another agent for 6 months, they showed know interest or drive to sell our house. We decided to go with a different agent. We went with Marie from fine and Country Marie had the drive and a different outlook on the selling of our home . She booked one open day for potential buyers to view, on that day we had a disaster, a water leak!!! (we were away at the time) Marie not only sold our house in it’s worst state , she helped with the clean up !! We were kept informed all the way through out the sale of our home . We would highly recommend Marie for her outstanding service , positive attitude and her remarkable work ethic!!

Natasha and her team helped me secure the flat in the first place to dealing with any issues relating to the property or the building itself, everything was always handled promptly and professionally.<br><br>Whenever I contacted them, I usually received a response within the same day, and any issues were dealt with efficiently. At the end of my tenancy, my full deposit was also refunded without any problems.<br><br>Having rented through several different agencies over the years, I can confidently say Winkworth were by far the best and easiest to deal with. I’m really glad I had the opportunity to experience such a positive and professional service. I would definitely recommend them!

6th Sep 2026 (22 days ago)Avoid this company they made buying our first home an awful experience. I’d especially advise you to avoid Susie Ralston and Paul Howell. Told me the role as an estate agent is to list and sell a property and any chasing of a chain is simply a good will gesture and falls outside of the estate agent’s ethics.<br>They had the audacity to advise thier contact log showed 32 contact points since April. Yes 32 times I had to chase and ask for updates to which I was met with nothing meaningful and to contact my solicitor. They also had the cheek to say I knew the vendors daughter in law so I had updates from them - shouldn’t have to justify I know sometime from a school run not personally as a friend.<br>Ignored my complaint request for compensation.<br>Property onbudsman is my next step.

I would highly recommend Home Sale to my peers. I preferred Home Sale to the high street estate agents as they are independent and personal to the seller and helpful when the sale went through. 10th Sep 2026 (18 days ago)An absolute nightmare!<br><br>We enquired about a potential investment property with a tenant already in situ and decided to make an offer.<br><br>We were told that the tenant had been living in the property for a long time and had always paid the rent on time. However, when the process started at the end of March, we asked for proof of rental income and that’s when everything changed.<br><br>We were then told that the landlord was actually in the process of evicting the tenant because they had stopped paying rent.<br><br>The agency and landlord were clearly aware of this, but this was never mentioned to us until we specifically asked for proof of rental income. Had we known this from the beginning, we would never have proceeded.<br><br>Unfortunately, by that point we had already paid a deposit and invested a significant amount of time into the purchase, so I decided to continue. Due to the eviction, the process was heavily delayed, but we eventually managed to exchange and complete on the property.<br><br>Throughout the whole process, we repeatedly asked the agency to arrange a viewing of the property, but they showed very little interest in doing so.<br><br>Once we finally gained access to the property, we discovered several issues, including problems with the electricity and gas supply and a front door that was not working properly.<br><br>Because the eviction issue was not disclosed to us upfront, we ended up losing over £3,000 dealing with the consequences — including finding a new tenant, agency fees, maintenance and other costs.<br><br>The whole experience was extremely frustrating and could have been avoided if the agency had simply been transparent from the start.<br><br>I would not recommend this company to anyone.

They always kept me updated at every stage and made sure everything stayed on track. It really felt like they genuinely cared about getting the best outcome for me.
