As a first time buyer, the process was new to me and the team were patient throughout. The Sales Progressor, Grace, continuously kept me updated on the progress, any updates and the status of the sale, which I really appreciated as I never felt out of the loop. Thank you all for such a pleasant experience!
11th Aug 2025 (11 mo. ago)I HAD ONE VIEWER ,THEY GAVE ME A TIME WHEN THE VIEWING WAS GOING TO TAKE PLACE WHICH WAS 2.15 ON A SATURDAY ME AND MY WIFE WENT TO A GARDEN CENTRE , WELL AT 3PM I PHONED WEBBS TO SEE IF THE VIEWING HAD FINISHED ,I WAS THEN TOLD OH NO WE DONT SHOW THESE PEOPLE AROUND UNTIL 3.30 PM I SAID I HAVE VOICEMAIL MESSAGE ON MY MOBILE THAT THE VIEWING WAS AT 2.15 ,I SAID WELL CAN YOU PHONE ME WHEN THE VIEWING AS FINISHED THEY SAID THEY WOULD.......WELL THEY DIDNT. THE FOLLOWING WEDNESDAY WEBBS PHONED, BUT WE WERE OUT THEY LEFT A MESSAGE FOR ME TO PHONE BACK, I DID BUT THE ASSISTANT WAS ON THE PHONE, I WAS TOLD SHE WOULD PHONE ME BACK, WELL SHE NEVER DID , WHEN I TERMINATED THE CONTRACT ,I AT TO GO TO THEIR CANNOCK OFFICE TO GET MY KEYS... ON THEIR BROCHURE TO ME WHEN I FIRST WENT WITH WEBBS ITS IN BOLD LETTERS NO SALE NO FEE , BUT THEY CHARGED ME £60I WENT WITH WEBBS ON THE 28th FEBRUARY2025 FINISHED WITH THEM END OF JUNE
12th Mar 2026 (21 weeks ago)Savills were the letting agent for my property for about 6yrs after being bought by Area Estates. Savills do bare minimum with regards to repairs and maintenance. Camilla Kirby who recently left the company was lovely and made every effort to assist with the limited authority she had, sadly she was replaced by Rachel Bentley who is condescending, rude and quite frankly should not deal with the public in any capacity. Following a S21 notice due to selling before the new landlord rules come into affect in May, they attempted to charge £760 for removal of a fish tank from the loft of property despite it being in the property from the beginning of the tenancy and having no proof it wasn’t. She lied in a reference and stated that it couldn’t be changed as the director had approved it, and when I pressed her saying the reference was factually incorrect she stated “the DWP may be able to assist you with something in writing about your benefits”.

Communication was excellent throughout the process, keeping us updated every step of the way and making what can often be a stressful experience much easier. Their knowledge, advice and proactive approach really stood out. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Thank you for all your hard work!

8th Jul 2026 (27 days ago)Awful place for letting, I wouldn’t even consider buying a place from them.<br>They lie to you, and only show you the best part during viewing. I saw things I didn’t see during the viewing when I moved in. Wasn’t told the full information.<br><br>And when moving in, they failed to let the accommodation know I was moving in. And when problems occur in the building, they don’t do anything.<br>If you’re thinking of moving into Vox Living, DON’T- 15th Jul 2026 (20 days ago)Connells have been very helpful and efficient and I would like to sincerely thank Mia and Ben for their effort and assistance. 1st Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Would recommend the team here. They were patient, responsive to my needs and very professional. Julie Burdett and Nicola Clegg were particularly helpful with my transaction and supported well by Julie Gomersall when Nicola went on maternity leave. Claire Midgley was also great as a post sale progressor. Despite us and our sellers doing a lot of the communicating directly (through our sellers choice) she was very helpful, attentive, efficient and knowledgeable when I needed her. All round a great personal service and I have recommended them to a number of friends, family and colleagues.

Jodie looked after the sale towards the end and kept us up-to-date on progress. She was quick to respond to queries and was just generally very helpful. Thank you again for making the process as easy as you could, it made all the difference!

22nd Nov 2025 (8 mo. ago)We placed our house on the marked with Worthingtons after trying to sell twice previously - both times we were unfortunate in our circumstances and our sales fell through. Feeling very deflated, we marketed with Worthingtons in a last ditch attempt to sell! The Rightmove pictures and listing were fantastic. We sold with Worthingtons in a couple of weeks and they did all of our viewings. Tina was brilliant at progressing the sale and keeping us informed throughout. A very effective local business who we would urge all local people to use if looking to sell in Bilbrook or Codsall. We appreciated the honesty and transparency of Helen and Tina as it is hard to come by in this field of work! A final shout out to Julie for being a lovely warm, kind-spirited and cheerful presence. Thank you for your hard work and perseverance. We would not hesitate to use Worthtingtons again and will be urging all friends and family to use them for property sales and purchases in the future! From Clare and Zak Wagstaffe.- 14th Jul 2026 (21 days ago)Absolutely appalling experience – avoid Connells if you value honesty and transparency.<br><br>My experience with Connells has been nothing short of a nightmare. I feel completely misled, trapped, and let down from start to finish.<br><br>When Jon came to value my property, he never clearly explained that by signing the paperwork I was committing myself to a 26-week sole agency agreement. Instead, I was rushed through the documents and repeatedly told it was simply their “standard procedure.” At no point was the significance of being tied exclusively to Connells for six months properly brought to my attention.<br><br>If Jon had been transparent and clearly explained that I would be locked into a 26-week contract regardless of whether Connells performed or not, I would never have signed it.<br><br>Once the agreement was signed, the service was incredibly disappointing.<br><br>Over the course of the agreement, Connells completely failed to sell my property. They repeatedly brought viewers who were clearly not in a genuine position to buy. Some didn’t have suitable employment contracts to obtain a mortgage, others hadn’t even sold their own properties, and many simply appeared to be wasting everyone’s time. It felt like they were more interested in increasing viewing numbers than actually finding a qualified buyer.<br><br>The communication was equally poor. After almost every viewing, I had to chase Connells for feedback. Rather than keeping me informed as you would expect from a professional estate agent, I was constantly left waiting, calling and emailing just to find out what had happened. It was exhausting and incredibly frustrating.<br><br>As weeks turned into months with absolutely no progress, I felt completely helpless. I had lost all confidence in Connells’ ability to sell my property, yet because of the 26-week sole agency agreement, I couldn’t simply instruct another estate agent without potentially facing financial consequences. I felt trapped in a contract with a company that was delivering little in return.<br><br>To make matters worse, when I raised my concerns, Connells showed no willingness to acknowledge how the agreement had been presented to me. Instead, they simply hid behind the small print of the contract and insisted that because I had signed it, I was bound by the 26-week term. There was no accountability, no understanding, and certainly no attempt to resolve the situation fairly.<br><br>Looking back, I genuinely believe the emphasis was placed on getting my signature rather than ensuring I fully understood the long-term commitment I was making. Being told something is “standard procedure” should never replace giving a customer a clear explanation of a six-month contractual obligation.<br><br>The whole experience caused unnecessary stress and wasted months of valuable time during which my property could have been marketed by a more competent and proactive agent.<br><br>If you’re considering using Connells, my advice is simple: be extremely careful. Read every single word of the agreement, ask direct questions about any sole agency period, and don’t let yourself be rushed into signing anything. Once you’ve signed, you may find yourself locked into months of poor service with very little you can do about it.<br><br>I would never use Connells again and would not recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, transparent, and customer-focused estate agent. My experience was overwhelmingly negative from beginning to end.
29th May 2026 (10 weeks ago)Claire, Claire, Claire… what can we say? Claire Midgley was our rock throughout a very long and difficult conveyancing process. Working in the industry myself, I can certainly recognise a special agent when I see one and she certainly is a true credit to Dourish & Day. She listened to me rant (probably like a broken record at times) , offered advice and promised me she would chase and subsequently update me… and true to her word she was every single time!! To get the good news call from her personally today was the icing on the cake for me & my partner. Thank you so much Claire for all your help throughout, we appreciate you hugely ??????

From the very beginning, he’s been approachable, knowledgeable and genuinely invested in helping us through the process.<br><br>Unlike some of the larger estate agents we’ve dealt with, we’ve never felt like just another number. From the initial booking of the evaluation, to their marketing expertise. All the way through to bookings and viewings. They have been amazing! Sales progression have been great. Within 15 minutes of it going live I had my first appointment.. second viewing appointment for the same day within 40 minutes both for the same day! I literally can't believe how efficient they are! I would totally recommend them! From the media presentation to speaking to staff on the phone it's been absolutely faultless!!!
