11th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)I HAD ONE VIEWER ,THEY GAVE ME A TIME WHEN THE VIEWING WAS GOING TO TAKE PLACE WHICH WAS 2.15 ON A SATURDAY ME AND MY WIFE WENT TO A GARDEN CENTRE , WELL AT 3PM I PHONED WEBBS TO SEE IF THE VIEWING HAD FINISHED ,I WAS THEN TOLD OH NO WE DONT SHOW THESE PEOPLE AROUND UNTIL 3.30 PM I SAID I HAVE VOICEMAIL MESSAGE ON MY MOBILE THAT THE VIEWING WAS AT 2.15 ,I SAID WELL CAN YOU PHONE ME WHEN THE VIEWING AS FINISHED THEY SAID THEY WOULD.......WELL THEY DIDNT. THE FOLLOWING WEDNESDAY WEBBS PHONED, BUT WE WERE OUT THEY LEFT A MESSAGE FOR ME TO PHONE BACK, I DID BUT THE ASSISTANT WAS ON THE PHONE, I WAS TOLD SHE WOULD PHONE ME BACK, WELL SHE NEVER DID , WHEN I TERMINATED THE CONTRACT ,I AT TO GO TO THEIR CANNOCK OFFICE TO GET MY KEYS... ON THEIR BROCHURE TO ME WHEN I FIRST WENT WITH WEBBS ITS IN BOLD LETTERS NO SALE NO FEE , BUT THEY CHARGED ME £60I WENT WITH WEBBS ON THE 28th FEBRUARY2025 FINISHED WITH THEM END OF JUNE
12th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Savills were the letting agent for my property for about 6yrs after being bought by Area Estates. Savills do bare minimum with regards to repairs and maintenance. Camilla Kirby who recently left the company was lovely and made every effort to assist with the limited authority she had, sadly she was replaced by Rachel Bentley who is condescending, rude and quite frankly should not deal with the public in any capacity. Following a S21 notice due to selling before the new landlord rules come into affect in May, they attempted to charge £760 for removal of a fish tank from the loft of property despite it being in the property from the beginning of the tenancy and having no proof it wasn’t. She lied in a reference and stated that it couldn’t be changed as the director had approved it, and when I pressed her saying the reference was factually incorrect she stated “the DWP may be able to assist you with something in writing about your benefits”.

22nd Oct 2026 (11 days ago)Me and my partner have been supported excellently by Bairstow Eves as first time buyers. I want to mention Simon from Country Wide mortgages in particular. It was because of his continuous guidance and support that we were able to feel confident and competent in making scary life decisions! Simon is extremely welcoming and approachable, walking into his office was always reassuring, and we were walked through every step at our own pace, Simon always ensuring we understood each aspect of the decision making process before moving on. Simon was accessible whenever I had any queries, and never made me feel like a question was too silly to ask! Me and my partner look forward to having this ongoing support with Country Wide in the future.<br>I also wanted to mention the lovely Molly, who has always been at the other end of the phone to answer any queries and reassure us throughout the buying process.<br>Thank you Bairstow Eves!

1st Oct 2024 (2 years ago)Would recommend the team here. They were patient, responsive to my needs and very professional. Julie Burdett and Nicola Clegg were particularly helpful with my transaction and supported well by Julie Gomersall when Nicola went on maternity leave. Claire Midgley was also great as a post sale progressor. Despite us and our sellers doing a lot of the communicating directly (through our sellers choice) she was very helpful, attentive, efficient and knowledgeable when I needed her. All round a great personal service and I have recommended them to a number of friends, family and colleagues.

We hit a few bumps in the sale and they stepped in immediately and kept the momentum going. They kept me updated at every stage of the process which made what can be a stressful time feel completely manageable. Thank you very much to Alex, Ellie and the team.

After being let down by multiple letting agencies and dealing with poor customer service, me and my wife were very grateful to come across Peter James Letting agency. Every interaction was super helpful, informative and they wasted no time whatsoever in making sure they would help us apply and figure out everything we needed to do to move in to our new rental.<br><br>High recommend anyone to go with this service, you will not regret it!

22nd Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)We placed our house on the marked with Worthingtons after trying to sell twice previously - both times we were unfortunate in our circumstances and our sales fell through. Feeling very deflated, we marketed with Worthingtons in a last ditch attempt to sell! The Rightmove pictures and listing were fantastic. We sold with Worthingtons in a couple of weeks and they did all of our viewings. Tina was brilliant at progressing the sale and keeping us informed throughout. A very effective local business who we would urge all local people to use if looking to sell in Bilbrook or Codsall. We appreciated the honesty and transparency of Helen and Tina as it is hard to come by in this field of work! A final shout out to Julie for being a lovely warm, kind-spirited and cheerful presence. Thank you for your hard work and perseverance. We would not hesitate to use Worthtingtons again and will be urging all friends and family to use them for property sales and purchases in the future! 28th Oct 2026 (5 days ago)The staff at Dourish and Day Penkridge have been so helpful especially Claire who has worked with us with getting my partner and I into a first home. With us being first time buyers we were unsure about things and what was needed to be done and Claire talked us through everything we needed to do and explained anything we were unsure about. Thanks to her we are able to get the keys to our first home this week and we couldn’t be more grateful for all her help.

29th Oct 2026 (4 days ago)I would recommend Open House Estate Agents. They took great pictures and gave a thorough description of the house, getting our house on the market quickly. Personal service and excellent communication throughout the process. The only issue we had was when it came to the negotiation with our buyer for a price - we had to push back quite hard against offers that were below what we thought were acceptable. Open House were understanding when we raised this issue and it finally helped us reach a target price we were happy to accept. They are willing to listen to your needs.

Within 15 minutes of it going live I had my first appointment.. second viewing appointment for the same day within 40 minutes both for the same day! I literally can't believe how efficient they are! I would totally recommend them! From the media presentation to speaking to staff on the phone it's been absolutely faultless!!!
