Me and my family are planning on relocating to Sussex to be near family and give my kids a better life as we live in London. we found this lovely house got accepted tho great let's get everything moving getting references done so my partner put in his notice at work as his a support work has been for over 8 years and hours are not flexible 14 hours days plus sleep in so he got job thats more flexible so can look for work in the new area. Explained all this even said we would pay a few months in advance then get rejected coz my partner not having a stable job how that make sense.

9th Apr 2024 (15 days ago)We were approached by Aimee from Connells after our house had been on the market for a few months with another agent. From the off she was a complete professional, empathetic, personable and clearly passionate about her job. After deciding to change and use Connells we have found the whole team to be charming, helpful and organised. I had given birth during the months the house was on sale and whilst at home recovering the team were always so respectful and friendly. Josh in particular was fantastic and always made viewings a breeze. When the sale of the house was going through Tracey was outstanding in her communication and really helped with any issues that came up with the solicitors. She was always up to date with what was going on and we never felt like we were chasing for information in what is the most stressful point of selling. The whole team though have honestly been great and anyone else we met along the way have known all the information they needed and have been thorough, warm and approachable. I really felt like they worked so hard to sell our house in what is a really difficult time in the current climate. I am so glad we decided to use Connells to sell our house as the whole process has been so easy and smooth and would not hesitate to use them again in the future or recommend them to others. Its a ten out of ten from us!

Due to mortgage restrictions and a changing economic climate, the task of getting it over the line was not easy for anyone but Savills kept in constant contact, kept believing we would do it and keep the deal together. Always easy to reach, always have time for a call or chat and very informative. Would certainly recommend.- 15th Apr 2024 (9 days ago)Working with Connells has been simple and quick. Izzy Gwillim has been professional and helped us the entire way get through the process in a speedy and efficient manner. I'd definitely recommend their services.

We were very nervous! Danielle was patient, friendly and went above and beyond to help us buy our dream first home! She held our hand through the entire process, she answered our queries, worries and questions and nothing was too big of an ask. She communicated with us throughout the entire process and worked alongside the estate agent we were buying off of and our solicitor to ensure the process ran swiftly. Danielle is an absolute star, we are so glad we found her. We will definitely be recommending her to others!
10th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)These people are truely awful to deal with my wife was humiliated when a member of there staff was ridiculusly pedantic and quite aggressive, when they went into the property, They go out of they way to get a deposit refund for there client.
15th Dec 2023 (19 weeks ago)I have had a few dealings with Phillips and Stubbs over the years and the experience has been excellent. As well as handling the normal things with efficiency, speed and competence, they have gone above and beyond, for instance helping me with mortgage arrangements, recommending surveyors and smoothing out stressful and difficult situations. Highly recommended!

5th Jan 2023 (1 year ago)Exceptional Service. We recently purchased our property through Wards New Romney, the process like any other purchase was lengthy and challenging. However, Wards New Romney and the team were fully supportive, and helpful in assisting us, and in particular our allocated agent Jake was exceptional. Jake was friendly, helpful and fully onboard with completing our purchase from the get go. He assisted us most days with additional viewings, answering questions contacting our buyer and solicitor when needed and encouraging us at all times, to give us confidence all would be completed as suggested. We could not have asked for more. His relations with the other office staff and our purchase progressor made everything easier and more streamlined. We were also thoroughly pleased with his recommendation to use their recommended/linked solicitors (Martin Tolhurst), this hugely improved the communication and we could not recommend this service enough. Jake could not have done more for us, he was patient, kind, understanding and helpful; he gave us so much time and assistance to get our purchase and sale completed we could not have asked for more. If you want a helpful and supportive experience with clear communication and excellent customer service, you need to choose Wards New Romney!!

4th Aug 2023 (8 mo. ago)Easily the worst estate agents, borderline illegal. Letted out a property with multiple leaks, mould, no working fire alarm and multiple other issues. We have a feeling they lied to the landlord about making repairs that never actually happened. Giles is by far the rudest, least professional person I've ever met, thinks it's okay to insult and put down people when confronted about the condition of properties. We were told by multiple people (fire service, gas people and mould inspection) that the property was not fit for living purposes, but because it was covered up by a lot of people there wasn't much they could do. Our baby was continuously I'll from the mould as was I, when moving out we had to chuck out about £500 worth of items because mould had spread to them, they allowed leaks to continue for months, ruining our personal items. Only fixed the fire alarm when faced with a council inspection, six months into our tenancy. They have now upped the rent for next tenets to £1000, absolutely disgusting. There is much more wrong with the property that I don't have space to write here, but be warned, if letting with this agency you will be done over, judged and spoken down to, any property that appears in good condition will change over time and goes downhill quick. So glad we are no longer here and our baby is finally healthy instead of constantly unwell.

17th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)From the first phone call to ask Jonathan to come round and tell me what I needed to do to sell my home, to the last to say we had completed John and Jonathan could not have done more to get the property sold. I was treated with respect and kindness. Unfortunately for me my sale fell through twice before I got my final buyer. Despite the market being very tough John and Johnathan managed both times to get me sold again within 24 hours. I cannot recommend these two guys enough. If I could give 6 stars I would.
