Beware and avoid at all costs or say bye to your deposit and nerves! These people are systematically there to rip off tenants during and after tenancy. Smiley and friendly Vinoath (who is the only professional person) will be quick and efficient in finding you a flat and getting the move in done. Then the nightmare starts with Natalie and Joanne, who will do anything to blame the customer as opposed to help. The worst is the check-out when Pritesh and team will do anything to get your money/deposit. The company representative told us that rarely do they such a flat in such tidy and clean condition returned as we did. And 3 weeks later we receive a request by Pritesh to pay 400 GBP for 'hooks' on the wall that had been there at move in and a mosquito found in a sink etc after us having done general cleaning. I have copied below the original "deduction sheet" below so you see 1st hand how they work. When asked for invoices for the work done for the 'deductions' they can't present anything, but instead of ever admitting faults on their side will go into e-mail ping pongs with you and your only way out with them is to sue them which we will do ! Good luck to anyone dealing with them! We were on with another agent before we came on board with Curchods, the agent before gave us very little in terms of feedback from viewings and no guidance on how best to sell our home apart from reducing the price. The first agents valued our home at £75k more than everyone else and were very confident they could achieve this. After less than 2 weeks they rung us up to say we should drop the price by almost £100k in order to sell. They have only had 5 viewings in this time and they wouldn't leave us alone until we dropped the price. Luckily we were able to get out of contract with them early and we got Nick back round from Curchods who set out a plan for us on how best to sell our home. We ended up selling for a great price which was more than what the other agents told us to reduce to and the whole team at Curchods looked after us brilliantly. I strongly recommend using Curchods if you are selling in Teddington as they really are the local experts and don't listen to another agent just because they give you a much higher value on your home as from what we found out, this is just a tactic to get your business.... AVOID. After looking for a property in the local area, I saw one I liked with Curchods. I found the process of booking a viewing awful, before I was allowed to go and look I had to have a call with one of their staff who asked me personal questions about my financial position. BEFORE A VIEWING! This was for a £400k flat, hardly the rolls royce of homes (I can understand if it was a premium development). Needless to say they were late for the appointment and I didn't like the apartment anyway, so all in all a waste of time and now they have all of my personal details. Would NOT recommend.... I will never be dealing with these guys again. The fees are higher than any other estate agent, yet the service is abysmal. The property on moving in was dirty in poor maintenance, inventory totally wrong and when raised with them was told that it was previous tenant who should have raised the maintenance issues, even though the check out inventory itemised them. When raising a complaint answers were non existent and a month there have been no repairs carried out by property management. They don't seem to care they've got their ridiculous fees now. After seeing how little they do for tenants, there's no chance I'd recommend to any landlord either.... Read more

Max was a surprisingly easy estate agent to work with. Quite atypical compared the usual stereotype for people in this job because he has a laidback and calm yet knowledgeable personality that made the process of buying our first home less stressful. He also didn't pressurise us to buy the property either, he let us properly think and double check everything, until we felt comfortable to put in an offer. I would not recommend Hamptons estate agents at all. The communication was non existent and they did not push my property at all saying the internet sites would do the work. They are really only interested in high end properties they can make a large commission on .... Read more

Please AVOID this agency! They never respond to emails, they ignore you all the time, they don't attend to any maintenance issues and they simply don't care about your property if you are a tenant or landlord. I used to be with a smaller agency, Berkley, which was really good, but unfortunately they were absorbed by Regent. This has been the worst property agency experience I have ever had. We have a mould problem in our bathroom, which was reported to them in May 2017 and up to today November 2017 they haven't resolved the problem, despite landlord agreeing to put an extractor and giving them funds for it. They sent an engineer to assess the work in August and since then they just remained silent. I have been sending them emails and calling them since August, but they simply ignore you and never reply to your emails. Last week we got an email from a new agency saying that the landlord was very unhappy with Regent's poor service and decided to change them. Regent hasn't even notified us and when we called them they didn't know what was going on, they are always in total mess. They were supposed to fit the extractor before they officially stop managing us as the landlord gave them funds for it. They sent another engineer last week again to again assess the work, as apparently the previous one lost the report (this was their first argument) or didn't get the right quote (this was their new argument when I called a day after). Nevertheless, of course they failed to resolve the issue as the landlord was done with them and decided that the new agency will finally deal with what Regent failed to do for past half a year. Also, they never know what is going on and when our previous property manager left, they didn't even notify us and didn't know who was the new one for some time. Everyone is always out of office and they always promise things they never deliver and never get back to you.For example they tell you they will email you or call you back in 5 minutes, but they never do. Forget emailing them as your emails will never get a reply, forget reporting maintenance issues on their platform Fixlo as they will never attend to them, forget calling them as people leave their jobs daily and the new people never know what is going on, forget complaining to them as they will pass it on to the maintenance team which doesn't care. Also, they have lost a copy of our keys which were given to them by our previous agency (I have emails to prove this). They never even checked the flat and in case we aren't here and something is happening or we are locked out, they can't do anything. They failed at managing our property, they failed at attending to maintenance issues plus I find their staff very ignorant and often impolite (example - our previous property manager Davindra told me to have a window in the bathroom opened all the time as in her opinion this would resolve the mould issue, despite me telling her we live on ground floor and have to close the window when we are not in the flat. Also, her emails were very passive-aggressive).Their emergency number often doesn't work and either no one picks it up and if they do you have to keep calling it for hours. The worst experience ever, I highly recommend avoiding this agency if you are a landlord or tenant as they simply can't deliver anything and they won't manage the property for you at all. Also please note that they fake their reviews, their own employees (example: Ben Temple who is a director and Jordan Axten who is a compliance officer) gave 5 star reviews although Google Policy clearly states that you shouldn't review your own employer here as it is a conflict of interest. As soon as I reviewed them, Jordan Axten added a 5 star review (without any comments) and their supplier who does photography for them also gave them 5 star review to put their overall rating up.
